Timely and professional. Would use them again.

Couldn't be happier with the service! Early Friday evening my kitchen sink was plugged and the laundry room stand pipe overflowed. I picked American Sewer from the list and John said he would be right out. And he was! First thing John did was put on shoe covers and the excellent work continued until he left. John was friendly, courteous, professional and thorough. I cleaned up the water and had some more towels on the floor I didn't use. Instead of grabbing one, John asked if he could use it. He did the same with a bucket I put out for his use. I have had these lines cleaned out before but John went the full 50 feet and didn't make a big mess like previous plumbers had. He cleaned up what little mess there was and even cleaned out the bucket he used. John obviously takes pride in doing a good job. I will defintely call American Sewer again!

I called two nights ago and the owner called back immediately and scheduled an appt. for the next morning. The next morning Rob called when he was on his way so that I would know the name of the man coming to the door. Rob tested and not only found a second inside drain, but determined that the backup was probably the tub line only. He removed two decades-old caps, replacing one that broke with a new cap, which cost $20. Apparently both of the drains in this very old house which I just purchased last year had not been opened up in a very long time. Once he confirmed that the laundry tub was emptying freely, Rob agreed that I could schedule the main sewer cleanup for another date, and get back to using my bathroom and sinks after only 2 hours. The way their rates are structured (and very clearly listed on the company's web site, by the way), there is no added "service call" fee; the customer simply pays overtime if the job runs over. Rob gave me an up-front explanation and a bid to sign before he began work, and he charged for only a portion of the hour the job ran over. He was kind and courteous and patient with my questions. I'll be calling them back to do the main line in the next few weeks.

They ran a little behind in time but kept in touch with me so I wasn't just wondering and waiting. The plumber was professional and did a thorough job. I had this same drain cleaned 2 years prior by another company but it was $180. I feel that American sewer did a better job for 1/2 the price.

All in all, it went pretty well. I guess what I would say to other members is have something specific in mind. The thing that we didn't understand is that he preferred to have access to the drains so that he would be thorough about it. So make sure that you have access to the plumbing, to the drains, before he came out.

Tech completed all of the tasks, explained everything he adjusted, and was kind enough to show me how to make adjustements in the shower. For some reason only hot water came out of the shower.

Their service was nice, because he was really professional and very truthful to us. The price was reasonable. He really worked hard on the roots in the pipe. They are a good company, and they did good service for us.

Rob the worker was on time,went straight to the problem, courteouts, fixed our floor drain, cleaned up the entire work area, did I mention how clean this man was!

Jonathan came within two hours the same day I called to clear a blocked toilet. He solved the problem. He was very professional and reasonably priced. Would definitely use him again.

We went out to the garage and found what we thought was the sewer line and he put the camera down it. What transpired next was that he was putting down the camera down the sewer line and because I have an old line or something his camera got hung up trying to make a 90 degree turn. He was never able to get it unstuck. He tried for 45 minutes to an hour to try to get it unstuck and continue out to the street. At that point, he was concerned about his time and making it for his next call. He said he could continue to try and make the turn but he would now have to charge me additional. I opted to say no so he pulled the camera out, capped the sewer line, and at that point the job was done. He packed up and left. I had no confidence that he could ever make the turn so I stopped the service. When he took the sewer cap off he broke it and had to get a new one to recap it.

Wife accidentally flushed some pork through our garbage disposal and clogged the main kitchen drain. They were very responsive coming out to us on the same afternoon that we called them. Rob had the problem fixed within an hour and no charge for milage. He gave us tips on how to avoid this in the future and was very professional. The price was very reasonable and we were very satisfied with the service. We would definitely use them again.

They did a good job. It went well and the price was good. They were able to come out day of. They were prompt. It was somewhat of an emergency and they were able to get out there within a few hours. I had someone else look at it and they wanted $700. American Sewer just fixed the problem and that was it.

Great, Rob was wonder. They where very fast at getting Rob out to in block our line. We will use them again for any of our plumming needs.

Well, he came after I had had another service in twice!! He said he thought he knew what they were missing,and he went to work. He said all seemed to be resolved. He drained a full tub of water after he did the job. He said to call if there were any problems!

After a bit of phone tag and explanations of the mix up i had a leaking pipe under my bathroom sink replaced. The plumber was informative and did a nice job without a lot of mess.

At 4:00 am I sent an email to Jonathan and by 6:00 am I had a reply asking me when would be a good time to come out. At first, I didn't think it was an emergency and worried that I would be charged an arm and a leg. Jonathan called me and said he would be over today. Joe called me to get a recap of the problem, then called again when he was on his way, another time to give me a quote, and finally to tell me what was wrong. Later,

I called at 6:50 a.m., after our toilet clogged. We requested a visit ASAP so that we could both get to work as soon as possible. We were told the service person would arrive by 9 a.m. Jonathan arrived about 8:45, so that was great. He unclogged the toilet, and then cleaned the sewer line. He gave us advice about the frequency of cleaning the sewer line, noting that it does not need to be done annually due to the fact that we have a sewer line liner.

They were a bit late by my expectation but called about an hour before they arrived. they worked professionally and it was obvious they worked hard. They did not overcharge.

They came on time and did the job as well as expected.

A "special offer" from Angies list. Called for appointment. Arrived for services. Very professional. Very thorough. Will definately call them again, if needed.

They did a great job. Efficient. Called 20 min before arriving. Fixed our drain. Explained charges prior to work, which were consistent with what was quoted when scheduling. We would use American Sewer in the future if necessary.

I was not home during the job, but my husband was. He was very impressed with Rob's professionalism and dedication to a job that was extremely difficult. Rob broke two snakes trying to clear the drain, and went to Home Depot to buy a third. He didn't give up until the job was done, and he gave us some advice about some things we could do with our plumbing to avoid this problem in the future. The job ended up being more expensive than we had hoped, but only because of the extraordinary difficulty of the job. American Sewer actually gave us a better deal than their hourly rate and we were grateful for this. After the job was done, John called us up to ask how it went, and gave us a referral to have the plumbing work done that Rob had mentioned. This truly went above and beyond the call of service. We would definitely use them again.

He explained the pricing and services up front, so we knew what to expect before he started. After the drain was cleaned, Rob cleaned up the floor and area around the drain. I had him put American Sewers' number (sticker) on our laundry tub for any future needs.
