Seth showed up, snaked the train and was done in a half hour. No problem very professional.

The Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend, the drain in my lower level shower backed up. I was panicked, wondering where I would find service on a holiday weekend. I placed a number of calls Saturday morning. American Sewer was by far the most friendly and responsive. They came early in the afternoon. Not only did the technician open the line, he explained what he was observing so I actually learned more about my home and have passed on the insights. The technician was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. His focus was on helping me. The price was very reasonable, especially given the holiday weekend. Another business that I called wanted to charge me double their rate and their normal rate was 33% higher than American Sewer.

Rob was very professional, and explained as he went along- I needed a new cap to the sewer so purchased one. All went well. Only a minor complaint is he left my door open when he'd go out to his truck, and I had the air on.\ I plan on calling them back after I get the city out to look at it.

I called just this morning. This wasn't an emergency situation, but I was delighted that American Sewer was able to come out this afternoon. We are in the midst of remodeling, and moved our sink back to the original sink -- and pipe -- location. After hooking everything up, it was clear that the sink was draining slowly, and we would need to have someone clean out the pipe. Since our house is 70 years old, we decided to have the main sewer line cleaned, too. John showed up on time, did the job in about an hour, with no fuss. There was very little mess (a little water here and there, and little evidence of the significant rust build up was left around the pipe in our unfinished basement.) John had to remove a section of the old galvanized pipe to clean it out... replaced it with new PVC. I spent about 10 minute cleaning up after John left-- he did the bulk of the work. We were happy with the service, delighted with the very quick response, and would hire American Sewer again!

They came same day and fixed my drain within an hour.. Even had to snake 60 ft. Great service would highly recommend.

I called Saturday morning in regards to a toilet that had been clogged for 2 days by a tampon. Jonathan returned my voice mail quickly. I indicated it was not an emergency, we had other toilets we could use, and would be fine waiting until next week. He came early that afternoon, but did not call beforehand. He gave me an estimate over the phone, which was the final charge. He did a professional job, making sure that the toilet flushed several times after unclogging it. I'm not sure about the price - it seems a bit expensive as it was a very straightforward job that took under 10 minutes and he was aware of why the clog occurred before beginning his work. I do not have other quotes to compare this against, and I do not believe I was charged extra for a weekend. However, he did a good job, was professional and polite, and I would recommend him to others without hesitation.

What a great business these guys are. Called with a possible sew line blockage. They called back to verify I was home and was very prompt when they said they would be to the home. They checked floor drain and found that it was plugged causing the back up. Once unclogged water drained just fine. They double check that the water was flowing to the Main Sewer line to the street and determine there was no root issue. Rob was the tech that came and did the service call. Very friendly and only did the work that needed to be done. No hidden BS... just did the job that was needed to fix the problem. I would recommend this service to anyone I know without hesitation. TOP NOTCH SERVICE with no BS.

My technician, Seth, called before arriving, was polite, stayed on task and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He made sure that I had the opportunity to see the screen while he ran the camera through the line so that I could be assured that the line was open and had no further problems. American Sewer is lucky to have him represent their company. I was totally satisfied with his work and have already given the contact information to two other people. American Sewer is the BEST! I will continue to recommend them to family and friends.

He was very nice and professional, cleared the drain even though it had drain cleaner in it and he got splashed a couple times(I felt bad), and told me what to do in the future to help prevent the issue. They came out very quickly and worked around my schedule. I was very happy with their service and would use them again for sure!

This was a bathroom with a toilet that was clogged but had not been used in some months and I was concerned it might be clogged further down in the pipe.He A regular plumber had come and did not want to deal with it or take the old toilet away because it was not newly clogged. Jonathan came and made quick work of removing the old toilet (which did not really present any problem) and installed the new one in short order. He also took away the old toilet(for 60.00) which was not a part of his regular service. He spent over two hours at work including unclogging the bathroom sink and and went to a hardware store to replace a part that was defective. I felt he wanted to do everything just right and really did a great careful job and his cleanup afterward was meticulous. Price for the work was estimated beforehand and was exactly what he had estimated. He is a very pleasant person to deal with and I would certainly recommend him for plumbing work as well as drain cleaning.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was a really good price. They did all right. They did their thing and it was fine. It ended up being a slightly bigger task and they had a good price even on the other task. They were very flexible. They did a really good job on the second thing which was cleaning out our drain but they didn't put the camera down again. I understood that it was part of the first job but they didn't really communicate that before we started the second job. Still everything was good. They were right on time.

They were very responsive when I called. They came out the next morning. The fellow that came out was clean, polite and explained what he was going to do. I was going to have him clean a second drain in my kitchen but his machine went kaput. He took the drain apart,, cleaned it out as best he could and did not charge me any extra. Both drains are working fine. I would definitely use them again.

It was a good educational experience. They did everything I had expected them to do. They were professional and put booties on in my home. They explained what they were doing in the appointment. They answered all my questions well and the work was done quickly.

2 people showed up. I had to furnish a pail and water from my laundry room. I am used to the service person bringing their own supplies.

I called them on Friday morning. Jon, the owner, was helpful and patient on the phone. He talked me through a troubleshooting task to help him assess what would be needed so he could let me know the seriousness of the problem. He sent someone out that afternoon even though it wasn't an emergency. John, the rooter person, was hardworking and diligent. He was able to figure out where our opening was since I wasn't sure. Even though the blockages happened before the 100 ft, he kept rooting to the 100 ft. to make sure there weren't any other blockages. John was respectful and left the area as clean as it was when he arrived. He was professional. I would highly recommend American Sewer and call again if this problem happens again. We are passing his name to others.

It went really well. We had never done the video before so I bought an Angie's list deal for the main line plus video for $99. I did anticipate paying additional for more lines. We were really surprised to see the that the storm drain in our driveway had absolutely no roots whatsoever growing in it. We had been paying for that to be cleaned out yearly and we will never have to do it again.

All thumbs up - Robert did a quality job for a fair price on a Sunday evening.

I've used American Sewer twice in the past and will continue to use them in the future. First instance was what turned out to be a very complicated house to street clean out. In that case, they found a break in the main sewer line. They referred me to their trusted partner to fix a broken 90 degree bend in the main. The break was out in the side yard. 90 degree bends are no longer allowed by code. Their partner company was able to replace the 90 degree bend with a pair of 45 bends and a new clean out access port. Evidently, they only work with people they trust. Second time out was a clogged toilet. They came out on a Sunday within a couple if hours from time of call. They fixed the plug and replaced broken flushers parts in the tank. Money well spent. I do trust these folks. Very good work done. Fair prices.

It went extremely well. Fortunately no major issues with the line. It just goes to show that having the right gear and expertise with a can do attitude really goes a long way.

After an absolutely horrible experience with One Hour Rooter, we still had concerns that some blockages remained in our duplex's floor drains and wanted to ensure clear drains for the new tenants moving in. We called American Sewer on a Monday, got an affordable quote and made an appointment for Wednesday morning. The technician called thirty minutes before arrival and was right on time. He was very nice, clean and professional, snaking out our drains and clearing some gunk that remained from the One Hour Rooter debacle. There was no attempt to sell additional unnecessary services and the final charge was exactly what was quoted on the phone. I couldn't have been happier with the service provided by American Sewer.

Rob did a great job with the cleaning. He was also honest and hard working. He also helped me unplug a toilet that my kids plugged up at no additional charge. I am very glad we went with these guys. I highly recommend Rob at American Sewer.
