Wonderful! Very kind and respectful.

The service of the plumber was excellent - I would not hesitate to have him do work at our house again, but I did experience one issue. They had a coupon for $135 main line cleaning on Angie's list. When we set up an appointment, they said they would not honor this coupon, stating that it was actually Angie's List fault that it was still up there, as they have requested multiple times to take it down. A week later when I had my appointment, the coupon was still there. And now...a couple weeks later when I'm writing this review - it is still there. To me, this seems like a bait and switch tactic. I would think they are getting quite of few referrals from Angie's List given this deal, and are probably ending up with disappointed consumers. Transparency is important, and if this is indeed Angie's List, then shame on them... but I have a hard time believing that now that it's been a few weeks of the same thing. Take the coupon down guys! Or better yet...honor it!

Technician arrived when scheduled and was friendly and helpful. He cleaned up thoroughly after doing the work.

While unclogging the drain, the technician noted there was a steady leak in the same drain. He mentioned he wasn’t able to fix this and left me with a leaking drain. Also mentioned several times that the slow drain was due to my having 1 1/4 inch drains (common in sinks) instead of the standard 1 1/2 for tubs. I am handy enough to be able to replace the leaks, and the old drains were in fact 1 1/2 inches. Most likely the slow drain is due to the drum trap, not the size of the pipes. Kept overall rating to a B because he was able to clear my drain and VERY quickly, which is what I hired them for.

He was professional, listened to what I had to say, checked the main sewer even though only the kitchen sink was stopped up. Quoted me a reasonable price. Didn't try to sell more than I needed. I appreciate that since I am a senior, female home owner. Was finished within an hour. Cleaned up nicely. I would highly recommend American Sewer.

Work was completed quickly with a follow if needed

I received a fast response to my request for service. They provided a time range for the following day, and were on time. The work was completed quickly, the price was reasonable and the area was left clean.

It went well and they were able to get the job done without me there. Provided 90 day warranty on job.

I had reoccuring backups in the floor drain in my utility room and suspected there was an obstruction in the main sewer line. American Sewer came out and ran a video camera line and quickly found the source of the problem (a "belly" in the sewer line 100 ft from the house). They snaked the line and cleared the obstruction. Very fast, professional job. Will definitely use again if needed.

Was able to get tech to come out the same day I called. He arrived within the time frame provided and unclogged the drain promptly.

I was concerned that my sewer line was frozen or clogged. I called in the afternoon. The gentleman came out the next day, as scheduled, and checked the line with a camera. He was efficient and let me watch the camera while he explained what he thought had happened.

Fantastic. Was in and out in no time. He removed a drain blockage and installed a new higher powered disposal unit). I'd 100% recommend.

Had a non-emergency of water backing up into the basement during the holidays, did some research, and ended up calling a few different teams. Jon was the first call-back I got and he worked with me on schedules around the holidays while also being generally engaging over the phone. Seth came out and did the work - great conversations (mostly about hockey) as well as explanation of what he would do, why, and a preventative measure that would prevent some future issues (which was in no way an up-sell). He tarped everywhere in the house that he would be walking or working (always nice when dealing with weather and plumbing), explained what he was going to do, how long it would take, what it would cost - and did exactly that. Easy re-hire if/when the time comes.

It went as planned - smoothly, efficiently, relatively quietly and quickly, and for a reasonable price. We're just letting the concrete patch dry out nice and dry and then put everything back in place.

This company is absolutely fantastic if you need their services. I have several rental properties and have had to use them a number of times. They are great communicators starting with the office staff, and the people who come out to do the work are professional and get to work. They came out after hours for me, so the price was higher than usual, but when you have a big duplex full of new tenants, and no working sewer--who cares.

Really quick service. John (KP) was out about an hour after I called. He was punctual, very friendly, informative, efficient, courteous, and helpful. I also had him scope the sewer line. Despite it being somewhat mucky, he didn't try to push me on getting it cleaned, telling me there was no hurry but that I ought to get it cleaned sometime soon because of some rust blocks that will start tatching debris. He cleaned up after himself and made sure to write the service warranty on the receipt. HIs prices were very reasonable, and I now have a video of what my sewer line looks like! Great for XMas parties! I would highly recommend him for any drain services.

Required replacement of J trap in kitchen sink and unclogging from basement as 2 sink drains joined and was beyond joining that clog was. Very professional. Kept us informed of what he was doing. Spent over 3 hours working on it.

We have used American Sewer twice for projects. The most recent was main drain line cleaning for an upcoming City inspection. They have done excellent work cleaning the drain; we opted for the camera following the cleaning, and received a video showing the work that was done. I would highly recommend them if you need a main line cleaning. They were very professional, put down coverings on all carpeting and steps.

It went well, even if it tough longer than expected.

Took advantage of $95 coupon here. Had done some DIY work to clean clog before calling but couldn't find block. Shawna responded to online request first thing the following morning. Were cooperative in adjusting appointment time and arrived ahead of schedule. Technician was polite, thorough and efficient. Definitely would hire them again!

John K.P. was assigned to the task and he did a great job at assessing the situation and getting the drains unclogged. While he was here I also had him clean the basement laundry drains. John was professional, had a great attitude, personable and did a great job of getting the task completed.
