Description of Work: He went over and beyond. He put the camera scope into the line. He scoped it to about 100 feet and it wasn't enough, so he got in contact with the city. He had them come out promptly and discover that the blockage was 130 feet from the road. He got it cleaned out.

They saved me from having to pay for a main line and then do a floor drain. This company has high integrity. It is the second time I've used them and I am very pleased. I will use them again.

Description of Work: As a preventative measure, we wanted to have our main line looked at. We were more than pleased with Jonathan's work – friendly, courteous and professional. I apologize for not responding with a recommendation sooner! Now I cannot remember the exact date of service. I do know we will call American Sewer again.

Description of Work: We had an Angie's list offer for a video sewer inspection and toilet tune-up. The plumber was able to rearrange his schedule when we had to change the appointment time, and called to give us a heads-up when he was on his way. He had some trouble snaking his camera tip all the way to the end and took extra time to find another clean-out drain because he wanted to make sure to visualize the line all the way out to the street. It was strangely fun to see the inside of our drain line, and good to know it was intact and clear.

Description of Work: Cleaned main line sewer, that was filled with black walnuts that squirrels had deposited in the sewer vent. Also did visual camera line inspection to be sure all the walnuts were gone.

Description of Work: There is confusing on what a standard drain service mean ? After spend $150 for a $300 plus package, I was told it does not including the main drain cleaning.That was the main reseaon for the purchase.What is including in the package is so ill-explained.I thought $300 package is the delux package.The service end up did the main drain cleaning, a standard $90 service.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal main sewer line cleaning for $99 and also asked that they fix a slow kitchen sink drain while they were there. The kitchen drain was $80. I was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: The main sewer clean-out person did exactly as expected. Cleaned out our main drain from the house to the city's main drain. He covered his shoes upon entering the house, put down pads on the carpeted basement steps and across the carpeted basement floor to avoid staining the carpet. After cleaning the drain of roots, he used a camera to inspect the line, and was very patient with me and made sure I was able to see every part of the drain so I could be comfortable knowing there are no cracks or breaks in the tile, only a few spots where the tile drain does not come tightly together and where small roots can enter, looking for water. We did pay over and above the Angies list special, but only because he spent an extra 45 minutes with us. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: American Sewer came out and cleared out a drain and fixed a toilet. The service person was friendly and professional and made sure that everything was taken care of. I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: I had a backed up sewer drain, and was nervous that it would spread out further than the approximately 3 feet diameter puddle, so avoided using any water of flushing while I checked Angie's list and joined it to get special offers. I picked a top-rated company nearby and purchased (online with Angie's list) a good offer. I called American Sewer for an appointment. The company president, Jonathan Pullis and another man came to check out the job. He explained what needed to be done, and told us we could use the toilet and as little other water as possible until another employee could get here (the next day) with a two- ma part machine (smaller) in order to access the place where the cleanout drain was located. He assured us that since the puccle had gone down, it would be fine with the above limited use of water. It was! The man with the two-part nacgube cane ib tune and went right to work. The cap on the clean out had to be replaced because it hadn't been off in so long that it was destroyed in the process. The replacement part cost was $20, and he was there for a few minutes over an hour, so that was an additional $20 (deal I purchased was 1 hour of service at $89, They did not charge when Jonathan and the other worker came out to assess the job. They were all very polite and professional. I am completely satisfied and will use them again!!!! I vote that they get the annual award again this year!!!!! I thank Angie's list for sending this evaluation form as I tried to do an evaluation on Angie's List site, and couldn't find the form or whatever. I would suggest that you send out this form after each service, so that not-so-computer savvy people like me can give feedback right away. I tried to call your office when a person at the Minnesota State Fair suggested it (at your booth), but it wasn't during your office hours, and I got busy with other things, and didn't remember to do it when you were open.

Description of Work: We bought the special and called the provider. He and his partner were able to come out the same day. Our main basement drain had been backing up periodically for some time. They worked on it for awhile, finally breaking through so it ran freely. I opted for an added service (I did not feel pressured to do so) where a camera is threaded through the sewer line to the street. We had only a few incursions of roots and they were quick to say nothing needed to be done yet (again, there was no pressure to add on additional services). They left quickly and didn't clean up thoroughly but that was my only dissatisfaction. Overall, we were very satisfied with the quality of the work, promptness, and thoroughness and would use this company again.

Description of Work: The deal I bought was for a drain cleaning and toilet tune up. They didn't clean the drain completely, said it was too hard. They asked to use my vacuum to clean the drain. One of the guys stuck a sticker to my duct work for his business and I can't get it off.
