American Sewer

He said he could come the same day and arrived within the time window he gave. He called about 15 minutes before he arrived and accurately predicted his arrival time. He was able to clear the clog on the second or third check. He didn't complain that the water was off for some other plumbing work going on at the same time, but just dumped the water back and made sure it went down easily. He then checked on the configuration of the pipes afterward to be sure it was fully cleared. When I turned the water back on and ran water down, everything flowed great again.

American Sewer had previously cleared a main sewer line issue for our house and we had worked with them before. Services were performed as advertised and the line was cleaned out again for annual maintenance. We were able to see that the main line was in good repair though the line had sagged in the middle and was contributing to the ongoing house issues related to the the drain. The only reason for the B rating on punctuality is that they were an hour late past the 3 hour window for service and did not call until the very end of the service window due to another job. They completed the work still after hours and were very professional.

Line was clear. Nothing more needed to be done.

The city inspector needed to have what he suspected was roots removed, and, needed to have the basement toilet pulled so that he could complete an internal inspection. The guys from American Sewer called to let me know they were enroute, and expected arrival time. They got right to work with inspecting, then removing the roots. It was quite the job for them (close to 3 hours) as the pipe was close to collapsing from age and whatever causes collapse. They showed me an actual video of the situation and explained that they would attempt to push the rest of the roots out, rather than use a giant thing-a-ma-jig! They successfully cleared enough of the roots to allow for an inspection of the sewer pipe down to the street. They did this without causing the pipe to collapse. They also pulled the toilet as requested. I didn't get names of the technicians, but I believe it was the Jones brothers. The city inspector came out on February 9th to inspect and was able to do so successfully, both sewer down to the street as well as internal inspection. A day later, American Sewer (Jonathan) sent Dave out and he successfully re-set the toilet, without additional charges.

I appreciated that the Service Tech called 20 minutes before he was to arrive to verify I knew he was coming. He got to work right away after gathering information from me and finished quickly after clearing the blockage.

Great service - Jed called in advance, arrived on time and communicated clearly throughout the process. Will definitely refer American Sewer to others. Only slight glitch was in responsiveness to my original Angie's list message over the weekend. I sent a follow-up on Monday night and was called on Tuesday.

Shower drain was pretty bad and took quite a while to clear. Bathroom sink was a pretty quick fix. The charge was simply $100 per drain, which is less than we've paid in the past to other companies.

Things went very well. I have used American Sewer in the past. Both experiences were positive. As we all know, drain issues never occur at a convenient time and they need immediate repair!!

Quite well. Came out on New Years Eve in just over an hour, took just over 60 min to finish. Explained what was going on well. They were absolutely wonderful. They were punctual and professional, and gave good advice.

They were really great. Somehow there was paint that poured down the drain and part of it solidified and they pulled that all out. They did a good job and it was $89 which is a special.

This was an emergency as we had not had our sewer drain cleaned out in awhile. Our older homes basement had flooded so we were desperate. They came out on a Sunday evening when it was difficult to find anyone available to do this work. From the time I called they arrived within an hour. They were professional, told me exactly what was wrong and went beyond my expectations on service. I would definitely hire them again, and in fact it was recommend that this service be done on an annual basis to keep our sewer drain clean of roots growing. I will be calling them again a year from now.

The job was done well. I noticed a small leak the following day and called to inquire about it. They sent the technician over within the hour and he replaced a supply line to the toilet. He was in and out within 10 minutes.

He was great and fixed what he could, and then explained what we would need to replace.

Serviceman had some initial problems as access to the line was behind the wall. He took off the wall mounted toilet. Cleaned out the clog and remounted the toilet. Then he cleaned up the mess. He worked hard and did a very good job.

He did a good job, I had tried snaking it before I called them, but couldn't get it through. He came in and used the powered snake and snaked it out to the main drain. Had it done in 15 minutes. He was late, but called and let me know he was running behind.

Excellent. My wife was home when they came, but they were extremely honest. They told us some stuff actually to do so we won't need a plumber to come back all again, which was very nice of them to do that. They were upfront and honest, and they explained everything to my wife, she said. She said they were very good.

It went very well! I love this company. Seth was very professional, knowledgable, trustworthy, and did above and beyond what was required. A+ all the way!
