Description of Work: American Sewer was enlisted to clean (snake )the floor drain in the basement along with the adjacent laundry tub drain. The drain cleaning was effective but we ran into complications with the plastic laundry tub trap. It was reassembled with the threads off alignment and slicone sealant at the joints. The tech mentioned such plumbing complications can occur and said they could fix the drain for about $80. A few minutes later the office calls and says it would be quicker and cheaper for a plumber to do the work. They offered contact information for a plumber for me to reachout to. I asked them to work with their plumber directly. The plumber contacted me and consequently the plastic trap was replaced at $125.

Description of Work: I found this provider on Angies list and scheduled an appointment to open a clogged kitchen side drain in my home. Description of Work: In addition to the "big deal" to clean our main line sewer, we asked the cleaner to look at another sluggish drain. He cleaned that for the extra agreed upon price even though it turned out to be a much more difficult project than he anticipated. We will most definitely call American Sewer whenever we have drain or sewer problems in the future.
