Description of Work: We had backed up drains in our basement after doing laundry. He first checked for in-home problems which resulted in more flooding. The problem was the main line which we had just had cleaned out in December. We probably didn't do a good job of communicating with him, but he wasn't very concerned about the possibility of flooding our newly carpeted bedroom. He did an efficient job of cleaning out the main line, but was not very informative about why we had a problem after only a few months most of which we were snowbirding in AZ.I would use again with some reservations - but only because the biz came so highly rated on Angies List.

Description of Work: They had a hard time with our plumbing but managed to fix the initial problem. We will still have to have their services again, but we know what will actually need to be done and the approximate cost. They were extremely thorough and tried keeping costs at a minimum. They weren't as clean as I would have liked, but due to the extenuating circumstances, they tried their best with cleanliness. I would highly recommend them because they will to do their very best to keep your costs as low as possible and will give you a decisive determination if costs will go higher. In our case, we had and still have time to have the rest of the work done and they will be our first call. Five stars!!!

Description of Work: We purchased an Angie's List special to have our main sewer line snaked out. We bought the house a year ago, we weren't sure when the previous owners last had it done, and just thought it would be a good idea to have it done and see if there were any issues. He was professional, didn't try to oversell things we didn't need, and gave us good tips for keeping our sewer line healthy. The coupon was for one hour of labor and 100 feet of line. Even though the time we spent chatting and the time he spent hauling equipment to and from the basement put it over an hour, maybe an hour and a half, he didn't charge us for the extra time. I would definitely call American Sewer if we have issues in the future.
