Description of Work: Swearing...telling me that the coupon i had was an old price..saying i needed to pay 50 extra for a longer pipe. Never said that on the coupon. Wouldnt garantee unless i put a camera down for another 135 dollars. The camera wouldnt go down far enough but he charged me anyways..said he was putting on the ticket to never send him back. Told me if he put a 6 inch down it would break the pipe. Then asked me if i wanted it put down. Sinks are all backing up still. He swore..he yelled..he was unprofessional

I am very sorry for your experience. Your drain is very complicated and the photo i saw is not a good one regarding the offset. You were not charged for extra cable. and 125 is an old price we now charge 135. You were treated very fairly. YOU ARE THE 5TH "F" RATING OUT OF 876 SEWER CLEANING REVIEWS. WE HAVE HAD 791 "A" RATING. We always do our best and seth my brother in law has had many many wonderful reviews. I have always told the guys no profanity on jobs but sometimes we feel we are alone in a basement and forget we may be within earshot of customers.. THIS JOB GETS TOUGH WHEN YOU GET STUCK!!! I can understand your frustration with the whole ordeal. But we were there to help! You were charge 125 sewer,45.00 bathtub, 135 camera that is a flat fee and we did discover what the problem with your line was. We are always striving to improve performance. Your offset is to much for a full size blade with real care and risking collapse in an uneven joint. He made a note you did not want to continue on the hourly rate at an additional cost. The bottom line is your line has an issue and only WE know how to fix what is going on but that comes for a price and we deserve to be paid for time on the job. If you want me personally to come out maybee we can turn this F into an A!! I looked up seths notes on the job and this is what he wrote. Got stuck really bad. After getting it out I camera the line to see why. Half the pipe settled and pulled major roots through a 3 inch seam. The homeowner after seeing the seam didn't want me to use a 6 inch due to maybe breaking the clay pipe. Built in 1920. All the roots chopped out to 65 ft. Camera couldn't make jump to see the rest of line. Homeowner didn't want to go on hourly. JONATHAN-OWNER 763-276-6566

Description of Work: I'm not a fan of appointment windows, which American Sewer uses, but they were on time. The American Sewer guy called about 10 minutes ahead of arrival, which I like a lot. He was a very nice guy and cleaned out the main floor drain and sewer line. Overall, this was another very positive experience with American Sewer.
