Great! They worked as efficiently as possible given the scenario - we KNEW our main was blocked at least at 90% out near the center of the street. A year ago, another company could not clean the main all the way to the city drain - they only got a 2" blade through after LOTS of time, and kept up-selling me to more things, and had suggested water jetting was needed and the only way to get through - but we chose not to do that - would have pushed bill over $1000. An entire year later (and theoretically more clogging) American Sewer was given all the details of how bad our clog was, I said lets start with the big equipment (avoid upsell). They reassured me that was not needed and they had good equipment. Sure enough, just over an hour, he was through all the way, with a full 6" blade - for less than half of what I paid last year to not even get the job finished, and they also cleaned out another pipe too. Very pleased with their work, would be happy to use them again.

Jed did a great job at looking at the problem and kept me informed on his progress.

They sent out someone the first time in November. The drain continued to act up after they left. They then sent another employee back to fix the problem (Without charge). After the second employee came, we are no longer having any issues. This was our first time using this company, and they were very personable.

Seth did a great job. Cleaned out kitchen drains and kept me informed as he went through each step. Very through and cleaned the drains/pipes well. I appreciate the great job and friendly attitude. Very honest. Used the camera to look at sewer drain as well but it didn't need service at this time. Would definitely use American Sewer/Seth again. Thanks Seth!

Great; Jed came by and took a look, was able diagnose the issue and where it was, then make the necessary repairs. I was very satisified wtih the work done and would use them again.

Called Monday morning and a tech was dispatched and arrived 2 hours later at our request. He repeatedly ran a snake 35 feet through the inside plumbing line to where it connected to the outside/street line. He also checked all of the other sinks upstairs to make sure everything was clear. He was very thorough and conscientious. Other than everything drained properly afterwards, you wouldn't know he had been here, making sure everything was left spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend or use him again. He also gave us a 10% Angie's discount.

The young man came in, examined the leaking pipe below the sink, checked it out thoroughly, then went to Home Depot to purchase a new sink drainer. We have an old house, old kitchen (built in 1945). The repair guy (Seth) stuck with it until he found the problem.

Their repairman, Jon, came around the appointed time. He called to let us know that he was running a little late because the previous job he was on took a little longer than expected, which was fine. Jon looked at our situation and once he determined where all the drains were coming from he made a recommendation based on his experience. Jon recommended that we also clean out the kitchen sink drain pipe because it was contributing to our laundry room drain issue since the drain pipes came together in the basement laundry room. We went ahead with Jon's recommendation even though it cost a little more than we had planned because we didn't want to be facing another back up any time soon. Plus Jon also through in for free a clean out of our laundry room sink drain which was very nice. We are very pleased with the service we received from American Sewer in Bloomington!

did not receive call back on service scheduling for cleaning pre-purchased through Angie's List. Now it's beyond the money back guarantee date to get my money back. Displeased.

The plumber was on time and did a thorough job. He was maybe a bit too quick for how we were paying him but we are satisfied with the work.

We were so pleased with the service and attentiveness. You can tell they are building their business based upon integrity and personal touch. We definitely recommend them!

They were great. Seth was very knowledgeable and helpful. Gave me some best practices around the drains he was working on, but also with other drains that were not part of this project.

I called the office rather than contact online since I needed someone to come out right away. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and scheduled an appointment for me the same day. She gave me the time for my appointment and told me the plumber would call 20 min before. The plumber was on time and got right to work. He had the drain cleared quickly. There were only a couple of issues that didn't affect my overall satisfaction - the plumber forgot to call me 20 min before and I had to clean up some slimy fingerprints.

I was not informed there was a possibility of damage due to the age of the plumbing and subsequently a hole was punctured in one my pipes. I had to pay a plumber over $2,000 to repair the damage.
