Their design and the craftsmanship is good, their customer service and responsiveness is RUDE as they don't call back or even worse don't even show up! We spent tens of thousands of dollars with them and the don't even apologize.
Description of Work: Stay Away! The first line of their website is..."Along with excellent personal service comes the satisfaction of knowing that attention to detail will follow your project all the way to the installation." After the installation buyer beware. Alpine Woodworking customer service and follow-up after the installation is down right RUDE!!!!!!!! Our kitchen is even featured on their web site. Over the past 6 mos they have made over 4 appointments with us on repairs and never showed up. They don't call to apologize or even reschedule. We had to do all of the follow-up The staff blames it on the owner Rich as he is the one in charge of the schedules. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

I contacted Lorrie from Alpine Woodworking Inc. Company after I got the estimate for an appointment. However, she never returned my call. That I thought was not good. The quote process was really quick however their follow up was really poor. Their designer, Lorrie doesn?t work on Fridays and is hard to get in touch with. I would probably not contact them in the future.
Description of Work: I got a written estimate in April from Alpine Woodworking Inc. Company to get a custom made wall dresser built.

My experience with Alpine is very mixed. From the design and build aspect, they are wonderful with terrific ideas, high quality workmanship, quality installers who care about the final product and pleasing the customer. My early interactions with Lori, the designer were fantastic. She had fabulous creative ideas for my kitchen, understood what I wanted and worked tirelessly to meet my needs. I had nothing but positive things to say early on. But then the order was put in, half of the money was paid and I waited and waited for the cabinets to be built.... at least 7+ weeks... while living with a kitchen that had been completely gutted. They would not answer their phone, respond to my voice mails or emails and gave me no reason for the delay. I went from this amazingly positive experience to complete frustration over a period of 2 months. To be fair, much of the blame lies with my builder who should have budgeted time better and followed through better with Rich Lero, Alpine's owner. My contractor's own poor time management just added to the problem. So I don't place all the blame on Alpine. But when a project goes weeks and weeks past what was promised, the frustration level is extremely high. I would tell anyone who is considering Alpine that you will likely love your cabinetry when it is completed, because their quality is very high and their pricing is very competitive. But if you do choose this cabinet shop, make sure you are aware of Alpine's production time-management issues before you proceed with your project. A few calls or emails from their office during my own delay would have helped greatly in keeping me informed, and would have resulted in much higher marks above. I hope they will work toward better customer service in the future to solve this very solvable problem because I believe they are good, well-intentioned people who care about delivering a quality product. I would work with Alpine again for their price and quality, but would have more control over any future project so that this kind of delay would not affect my family's life so profoundly.
Description of Work: I had Alpine design, build and install new kitchen cabinetry for a large kitchen remodel.

Lori, Alpine's designer, helped us design the unit, taking all of our needs into account. Lori added some glass cabinet doors and corbels to jazz up the design. Rich, the owner, also built a 2 drawer file cabinet to match an existing desk in the room. He stained everything to match our woodwork. They even built in an adjustable keyboard tray and a cabinet to hold the computer tower with venting and access door. The entire project was completed within a month and installed in less than a day.
Description of Work: We remodeled an office in our home and added a built in computer desk with bookshelves and cabinets on either side of the desk. It filled one wall of the office, about 13 ft long.

We were remodeling our family room/ bar area and Alpine was recommended to us by our designer. Lori, Alpine's cabinet designer, worked with us on a plan for two bookcases/cabinets to flank our fireplace. I also found a picture of a mantle that I liked and Lori was able to reproduce a version of that mantle to fit our fireplace. She also designed a beautiful wet bar to finish off a large corner of our room. She was very patient with us through the design process and was able to satisfy all of our needs. Once the plans were complete, Rich, the owner, gave us an estimate. He came out to do the final measurements and within 2 weeks the installers arrived. They were very professional, neat and did great work. Rich had matched the stain on the cabinets to our woodwork perfectly so the colors look uniform. We couldn't be more pleased with the final results. The cabinets were beautifully made and installed. I am recommending Alpine to all of my friends. Take a look at the pictures I've included and you'll see what I mean!
Description of Work: Designed & built two bookcases/cabinets on either side of a fireplace, a mantle, and a large wet bar.
