Paul is very friendly and responsive. Both owners are great. The team got the work done really timely. After a year, I found there are couple spots that needs to be fre touched and they came over as they promised and get the work done right away. Very satisfied with their work.

Excellent. They were able to give a timely estimate to me, and answered all of the questions I had before the work promptly. They should up on time, go the work done on time. The driveway looks great, and I expect no problems.

Their communication, price and work was excellent. We had one minor problem after the install and after letting Paul know they were out within 2 days to make it right. Their follow up after the job was done and paid for shows me they're one of the best.

They arrived on time -8 AM- on arranged date. Crew of 4 quickly removed old asphalt, graded and rolled sandy base. Apparently they thought original base was OK. They added very little or no base material. Asphalt arrived in 2 large trucks almost empty - boxes raised to max to unload to bobcat. I believe it was leftover from earlier job and not very hot. They rolled it intensely for an hour and used water from our hose to spray the asphalt during rolling. Keeping roller clean? Result was rough surface, 1" dents, 3/8' depression !'x4' w/rough bottom. Unsightly & likely weak!

Very smoothly. Much faster than we expected - they were done in just part of a day. They cleaned up nicely - no asphalt on the street. The driveway is smooth for sweeping leaves but has a bit of texture so it's not slippery when wet.

I requested an estimate through Angie's List on Friday, 8/12. To my surprise on Monday 8/15 I received an email proposal. Apparently Bob had checked out the pending job when I wasn't home and wrote up a proposal. I replied stating that I would appreciate if Bob could come out and go over the details with me. He was more than happy to come to my house at my convenience to go over the specifics. Upon agreeing to the proposal I was told that it would be roughly 5 weeks before the work could be done because of previously scheduled jobs. To my surprise on 8/30 I received a phone call asking me if they could start the job the next day because they had a break in their schedule. I have a small driveway, easily completed in a few hours so I guess they figured they could squeeze me in. I have a small, oddly sloped, hard to access driveway with some odd contours in a narrow alley. They had to park their trucks 1/2 a block away and drag their equipment down the alley as needed. The removal of the old driveway went quickly. They followed my instructions implicitly as far as the boundaries of the new driveway. Upon installing the new driveway they managed to maintain the original slope and the odd contours. They also had to do a narrow, sloped strip (approx 60 degrees) which runs parallel to the alley. All turned out well and looks great. They cleaned up their mess very well, including the public alley. All in all the job looks great, but I will have to reiterate on the quality later as I have not had a chance to drive on it yet.

Service was timely and they were able to do the work without needing me to be present to sign off on it etc. If you like a convenient option, I would go with Alpine Asphalt. We have had several major rainfalls since they patched my driveway along the foundation and I have not had one drop of water in the basement. I think they provided the best repair option for the situation and did not try to do unnecessary work to up-charge me. Reasonably priced.

The project went very well. They were prompt in coming out to provide me with an estimate. When I called and told them that I wanted to proceed with the project, he explained how far out in the schedule they were and said he would could about a week before to provide a firm date. This is exactly what happened. I talked with him the night before and he said they would arrive between 7:30-8:00 and the cavalry arrived at 7:30. The entire crew was courteous, professional and friendly. The job performed was done efficiently and quickly. Wonderful clean up of the street and area around my driveway was done before they all left. Very pleased with the results and with the crew that performed the job. Would definitely use them again and/or refer them to others.

It worked out fantastic. They did a wonderful job and I am satisfied. Paul from the company was very professional. The job was done within a 4 hour period whereas other companies stated that it would take more than one day to complete. The price was better than any of the other quotes that I received.

Excellent in all respects. On time. On budget. Good sized crew that knew what they were doing. Right equipment for the job. Edged the driveway too and very thorough in cleaning up. Even staked the end of the driveway to prevent anyone from driving on it while the asphalt sets. Highly recommend Alpine Asphalt!

People showed as promised, work completed in 2 days (3600 sqft area), very nicely done, clean, and efficient. We had an invisible fence user the old driveway, they were able to do the work without interrupting the line. Vey friendly and responsive customer service.

Alpine Asphalt tore out my driveway and installed a new one in September of 2011. Please see the initial review for September 08, 2011. One of the reasons I chose Alpine in 2011 was their five year warranty, and I am glad I did. As it turns out, I have large tree roots that crack the driveway every year. Without fail, Alpine Asphalt has responded to my yearly request to have them repair the cracks in a cheerful, professional, and timely manner. It will be five years in September of 2016. Outstanding warranty and professionalism for any company! Just last week I recommended them to someone on my neighborhood web site, and I will continue to recommend them as a hardworking and dependable company.

Quick, clean and great. And they did no damage to the flower beds nor brick walk. It's a seamless job.

The Alpine dispatcher understood immediately what it was we were looking to have done. (I tried calling a couple other places but they were too intent on getting us to repave our entire driveway instead of just doing the small job we needed to have done.) Alpine was out a day or two after the initial contact and did an estimate. The only thing I wished that had gone differently was that they said they'd have to wait until they had more work in our area to schedule the work. I explained that we were having this done because water was seeping into our basement. They were able to do the work about two weeks after we accepted the estimate. Other than the anxiety about heavy rains during those two weeks, we thought the process went really well. We'd gladly use Alpine the next time we next some work done.

They came out promptly after we requested an estimate, within a few days. After we decided on them and got on their schedule, they were able to come out within a couple of weeks, giving us one day notice, which worked fine with our schedule. They arrived on time; we went over our needs and they went to work. They were done within a couple of hours, and when I did a walk around of the work they did I was very impressed with how great it looked, and was amazed that they went above and beyond by filling more lowspots than I even knew about. We are now good to go for a few more years before we have to do a new driveway. We are very happy with the work. It is too soon to tell how well it holds up over time, but at this point, we are thrilled.

Alpine showed up like a well organized army at 7:30am. Several large trucks arrived right on time (in fact 15 minutes early). A handful of workers popped out of the trucks and immediately went to work. It looked like a bee hive of organized activity with each worker knowing what they had to do. The original driveway disappeared in 40 minutes (that was amazing to watch). By lunchtime the driveway was done and i was waving goodbye to the crew. One thing i noticed that i thought was amazing, you can't tell that an army of asphalt equipment and workers was just here. With gooey blacktop you would think you would see blacktop footprint stains on my sidewalk, etc., though these guys have done this enough they obviously have learned how to keep themselves and the surrounding area clean throughout the project. Driveway looks really nice (and it is a good sized driveway). I would not hesitate to have these guys do another job for me.

All went well. It's a busy time of year for them so it took a bit to get scheduled but they were upfront and honest about that. It was worth the wait. They did an excellent job. They guys who did the work were pleasant, efficient and worked hard. The end product is beautiful. I got several bids and they weren't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either. The bids that were less also did not offer the quality of work nor did they have a 5 year guarantee on their work. Two of my neighbors have already asked for their info.

Their price quote wasn't the lowest, but they fit us in quickly before the winter freeze would make the work impossible. They showed up on time and appear to have done high quality work.

Overall I was very satisfied with the work that Alpine Asphalt did for me. They resurfaced my driveway at the back of our house. Once we agreed to a date for the job itself they arrived on time (I'm alllllways surprised when contractors arrive on time!) and they got started immediately!! The whole thing took maybe 3 hours and the result was AWESOME! They were the about the same price as several other vendors I had quote on the job but they were at the lower end of the spectrum. It's not always easy to get hold of these guys, there was a lot of voicemail tagging played but I always got a call or email back within a couple of hours. They are very responsive to email via Angie's List actually, this was always the most consistent and reliable channel of communication. Awesome, great - I would hire them again!

The process to hire them for the work was simple. I was able to call or email them to arrange the estimate and then finalize the contract. The day they came out to do the work, they didn't show up exactly when I expected them, but they did show up and got the work done. It was beautiful! It was better than I expected quite honestly. They did a good job cleaning up, too. I was very pleased with their work and with their customer service.

It's a small firm, and the two owners worked on the project. I had no problems. I liked that the owners were hands on and did the work. They were here on time and stayed on schedule.

So amazing! Within 48 hrs of contacting them they provided an estimate, via e-mail. The estimate provide line items, so it was clear exactly what work was included, and I did NOT have to be present. Bid was more than $1200 under other bid. (AND the other guy- NOT from Alpine- was kinda of a jerk...I would not have given him my business no matter what). I signed the contract. They said it may be about 5 weeks before we could schedule. They called within 3 1/2 weeks. They came, as stated, at 7:30...and were done in 3 hours. The drive looks amazing, the area was left in great condition. I have dealt with my share of contractors, and Alpine Asphalt was, far and away, the BEST experience I have ever had!

Great job! All the crew were very professional. Driveway was completed in one morning. It looks wonderful. The price was competitive with other companies but the 5 year warranty was a deciding factor. I would highly recommend Alpine Asphalt!

Alpine did a beautiful job for us. It had been years since the driveway was sealed, and there were a lot of cracks that needed to be filled. The final product was smooth, evenly applied, and clean around the edges. There were no black smears or drips where the driveway meets the garage floor, AND no black on the grass, or torn up grass along the edges of the driveway. We were very pleased, and have never had such a nice job done.

Very nice to work with, GREAT JOB!! Cleaned, filled cracks and did a super job covering my asphalt driveway. I will certainly have them do my driveway again next time.
