Daryn spent three days mudding and spraying the ceiling. He did a good job and was great to work with. He also cleaned up well when he was done. It took less than 1 week from first call to finished job.

He was prompt returning phone calls and very informative when he came to perform an estimate. Showed up on time, did good work, and left the place as clean as when he arrived. Also was very friendly and did a small extra spot for me. It was exactly the kind of professional experience you want when hiring a tradesperson. Will definetly use again and reccomend to others.

When I initially contacted Daryn, he was immediately responsive. I sent him an email and he quickly called me. We set up an appointment for the following Saturday. A day later I called him back to see if he could do some additional minor demolition in the basement (e.g., remove some built-in desks and cabinets) because these things needed to be done before I had drain-tile installed. I explained that this would need to be done before the following Friday. He said that he definitely could do it and that we would talk more about it when I saw him on Saturday. On Saturday he arrived promptly and reviewed my situation. He took notes and said that he would get back to me with an estimate for the sheetrocking/paint. I again discussed needing him to do the demolition before I had drain tile installed the following Friday. He said that he could definitely do it before that time, but didn't have a date to give me about when he would do it (but it would be done before Friday). He also gave me a ballpark figure for the sheetrock estimate which was within my acceptable range. At this time, I thought I had a commitment to at least do the demo by Friday. Late Sunday I get an email from Daryn saying that he got a better job from a contractor friend of his and that he couldn't do my demo (which he had committed to). This really left me in a bind and I had to scramble to find someone else to do the demo. Though I didn't have a signed contract, Daryn had committed himself to doing the demo by Friday. Daryn is a nice guy, but not reliable. I have no idea about the results of his work, but his professionalism and reliability is questionable. If you're considering hiring him, I'd make sure you have a firm (written) commitment with dates so that he doesn't back out should a better deal come along. If you have a specific deadline to meet I'd especially be careful about contracting work with him. What Daryn has said is completely untrue. We had a commitment, just not in writing. Why else would he contact me and say he couldn't do the work unless we had a commitment? I stand by my original review. Like I said, he's an nice guy but make sure to get something in writing in from him if you want to depend on him.

He called back quickly. Showed up when he said he would. Did a good job. A little messy, but he cleaned up at the end.

Daryn Krumm came promptly, looked over the work to be done, and gave a very fair estimate, which we accepted. He did all the work by himself, and performed his services in a timely manner, calling ahead each time he came. We were very pleased with the outcome. Not only was the work done well,but he cleaned up the area after every visit, and was anxious to please. We were very comfortable having him here, would certainly have him back, and would highly recommend him to others.

Daryn was very respectful and professional, initially told me what he thought would need to be done (and for how much), and showed me the completed work in its various stages. He covered surfaces to prevent mess, and cleaned up the area well when he was done. He did not charge more than the price he quoted and was done with the whole job in about four hours all together. The repaired surfaces look like they were never damaged and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference except that they need to be re-painted. It was a little bit tricky and took a few days to a week to get times scheduled, but I really appreciated that Daryn was able to come on a Saturday and a holiday to perform the work, since it is difficult for me to take time off from work (I also had told him I wasn't in a rush, so this may account for taking a little longer to get back to me).

Even though no work was done, the experience with this company was good overall. When we told the technician what our budget was, he told us that he wasn’t sure if they could do the work within the scope of our budget and what the Deal included. The technician was incredibly honest and straightforward. Also, there was some concern about lead paint. While he told us he would be able to do some patchwork, he didn’t really know how big of a job that was. We need a much bigger job, so we obtained a refund for the Big Deal.

They did quality work and we thought it was a reasonable price but it wasn't the best finish.

I called and left a message. The owner called me back that evening. I sent him a picture of what I needed done. The owner responded within 36 hours with a quote. We agreed and set the date and time. The owner treated this job as he would a high-dollar job. The work was impeccable, professionally done and priced right. I could not have asked for more. It was done on the date and time arranged and at the agreed upon price. I will use this company again and highly recommend their services.

Promptly gave estimate. Arrived on time. Very thorough with identifying areas in need of repair. Did a great job of prepping to minimize mess. Worked hard and finished in one day. Clean up was thorough. The ceilings look beautiful. I would definitely hire Daryn again.

Our next door neighbor had the entire interior of her house painted in preparation for putting the house on the market. We saw the nice work that Daryn had done, chatted with him briefly and asked him for an estimate. We knew that the stager had done some quality and pricing research and figured that we couldn't do any better research ourselves, so when we got the bid - very reasonable, we thought - we went ahead and hired him for the job. The whole experience was very positive. Daryn is pleasant, professional, prompt, tidy and does quality work. He willingly helped us move some of our heavier pieces of furniture out of the way, and was just generally a good guy. The paint job looks great; we are very pleased.

It was a professional experience from start to finish. He started the job when he said he would and he completed on time. I am particularly impressed with the plaster work. I had a number of difficult areas that are now completely smooth and lovely.

Daryn was able to squeeze us in the same week he gave us an estimate. This was great because it saved us days on our ability to put our house up for sale. He even came in on Saturday to finish the job and worked around us doing other cleaning/moving in the house at the same time.
