A great experience overall. Tom came out and was responsive to our questions while giving a quote and helped us to stay within our budget. The painting crew was respectful and helped us determine the best course of action when the water damage was a little more extensive than we had originally thought. It is so nice to finally have gutters that work! The paint job looks great, the staining on the deck matches the paint color pretty well and all of the water damage repair looks seamless. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, the company never returned any of our attempts to reach them. We first submitted an estimate request via their website. Several days later we also left a voice mail. We never received a reply. I am disappointed that a company listed on Angie's list would not at the very least return a phone call.

They were very competitive in their bid and I was very happy with the man that came out to give the estimate. They were a favorable company.

He was prompt and professional.

Very disappointing. We called him on Aug 5 after reviewing the reports. He called back the next day and we set a time for 11 am that day. He arrived on time and was very professional while discussing the jobs that needed to be done. We told him that this was an insurance job, but the insurance company was giving us a low allowance and we were in the process of lodging a complaint with the MN Dept of Commerce about it. We already had a bid from someone else for the painting which was higher than the insurance company allowance and wanted another one. After reviewing all that needed to be done, he told us his bid would definitely be higher than whatever the insurance company allowed. We told him we expected that. He promised to work up the numbers that night and put the estimate in the mail the next day (Friday). We waited until Monday for the mail delivery. When it did not arrive, we called and left a message to please call us with the numbers so we could make a decision - we would wait for the detailed estimate to arrive. Today is Aug 17 and we still have not heard from him.

I was pleased that Tom was able to fit me in the last week of October before the cold weather arrived. I appreciated his flexibility. His painter was very courteous and professional; he completed the job in a timely manner.

It went pretty well. We had one hiccup but they fixed it. They had a high grading on Angies List. The owner of the company was easy to work with.

I left Mr. Peterson a message and never got a return call to come out and do an estimate on the exterior painting needs for my house.

Tom was great to work with. He is very laid back, there is absolutely no pressure. He did his best to give me a very good price. He even upgraded the shingles from the insurance company estimates. He got the work done on schedule. His crew was very considerate.

I called Tom Peterson and requested an estimate. He came out after a few days and provided a written estimate on the spot. I gave him what I thought the paint colors were (and was wrong for one), and when he came out, he noted that I hadn't given the correct colors. He was able to get a color match perfectly on his own. They performed the work without my having to be home (which was great for me) and his bill was for exactly what he estimated. Tom and his crew were all extremely professional and friendly. I will definitely use them again.

We're very happy we went with All City Improvements. Tom was very pleasant to work with and immediately supplied a very detailed estimate. The estimate was much more detailed than all the others we got. Tom was never pushy and took the time to answer all our questions, both before and after the work was done. I took the day off to watch. The dumpster arrived bright and early, and not long after, the crew came. I spoke with them initially and on and off throughout the day. Everyone was very pleasant, professional, and answered my questions without hesitation, even after a very long day out in the sun! They even took care of some fascia that was coming loose and a couple of close hanging branches. Thanks guys! Clean up was perfect! Tom came back after the dumpster was removed to check for anything that may have worked itself underneath. All City Improvements was just slightly more than some of the other estimates we received. But I feel that we got more than our money s worth, and that our roof was properly installed by professionals. Even our neighbors commented about how well the job went and how pleasant and professional everyone was. They had their roof done recently by another company, and their experience was nothing like ours. Thank you All City Improvements. And thank you Angie s list!

I am really, really picky, and from the start, Tom impressed me thoroughly. When his estimate came in considerably below the other bids, I asked how, and he explained that he has no middle-men. He's actually on the roof (with 2 others) doing the work. He gave us a detailed estimate and answered my (many) questions with a very honest, straight-forward yet laid-back manner. He was prompt in returning calls or letting us know if something changed. The work was also completed quickly (less than 1 week). The job looks fantastic! He provided upgraded shingles and the house looks great. We had a couple of typical "bumps in the road" but he resolved them to "110%" (his words) of our satisfaction. I understand problems will arise, and how they are resolved are a true test of a contractor's skill and character; both of which were outstanding in Tom's case. I quickly recommended him to two friends, who also had work done and were happy. I would use All City again in a second!

After several estimates we decided to use All City Improvements for our project. It was a lot of work and we wanted to use one company to simplify the process. Tom gave us a proposal below what others were giving but we chose him because he was honest with us. He's easy to work with and listened to all of our ideas and helped us decide on colors, etc. We wanted to lighten the color on the front of the house but the stain was very dark and he recommended products that could cover it. And it did. We didn't have him install the garage door because he told us the bid we had from someone else was a better price. Since we needed new windows we decided to have him install them as well. A total of eight windows were installed in less than a day. Overall, we had a good experience; they cleaned up when they were finished and got the job done, inspite of bad weather and early sunsets. Now we have a wonderful looking house and enjoy the view every time we drive away.

The contractor inspected our roof and informed us that there was hail damage, so we could report it to our insurance company. The insurance covered all of the cost of this roof work. There was only one "hiccup". One of the large rolls of paper fell off the roof on to the deck and broke a redwood deck board. Tom refunded $250 in the original cost of $6450 to compensate.

I received a grant from my neighborhood association for exterior work on my house, and had heard about All City Improvements through a neighbor who had had his house painted. I called Tom and he was happy to come and give me a free estimate. Tom was on time for our appointment and went over all my options with me, without pressuring me to hire him. After about an hour we were finishing up and I asked if he could recommend a roofer, Tom laughed and told me All City does roofs too, and that he would be glad to give me an estimate for that as well. Tom never made me feel dumb for asking questions, never pressured me into a service I didn't need, and always kept me informed. Tom and his crew were completely professional, did a high quality job, and on top of that were really genuinely nice guys. I can't say enough good things about them.

Tom was marketing the area as he was aware of the storm that came through. Tom met with us, explained our options, gave us a thorough estimate, helped us through the insurance nuiances that coincide with the situation, provided us with shingle samples, and saw the project through in a timely manner.

Tom was recommended to us from a friend. He ran 15 minutes late for the estimate, but called a half hour before he was supposed to be there to let us know he was running a little late. What really sealed the deal for us was how honest & genuine he was. A very down to earth guy. Our roof looks great & we are overall pleased with the work.
