The service was wonderful. I had sent several emails out, they were first to respond, they came out later that morning, he fixed it promptly with the parts in his truck, and cleaned up after himself. It was great.

The tech, (Jesse) came out to the address in question, and gave a complete and detailed estimate of everything to be done including the exact cost of the project to be done, with no hidden costs upon completion. The order was placed for two custom garage doors. Doors were completed ahead of schedule and installed two days later. The tech (Ben) called before arriving to let me know what time he would be showing up. He was there exactly when he said he would be. He explained in detail what he would be doing and how long it would take. Everything went according to plan and was finished on time. The garage doors look great, and I am completely satisfied with the way everything turned out.

Their quote was reasonable. There was nothing bad overall about my interaction with them. I just actually decided to go with a company that's based right about three blocks from my house. I have no complaints. They were professional. They gave me the quote like I asked and it was quick.

Garage door cable broke and the garage door would not shut. Since this happened after normal work hours, I tried several 24-hour emergency repair companies to see if someone could come out and fix the problem. All American was the only one in my area to even answer my call. The person who took my call was very professional as was the repairman that performed the work. Showed up within 45 minutes of my call and were able to fix the problem. All around good job.

When I realized at 8 a.m. that my dishwasher had been leaking for awhile and was leaking into the basement, I called Dana and he was at the house within a couple of hours. I had already turned off the water supply, but he quickly got the dishwasher unhooked and found the busted part. He said the part would probably need to be ordered from GE but then helped me search a local parts house to see if they had it in stock, and then offered to pick the part up for me. Luke returned the next week after the floors were dry to reinstall the dishwasher with the fixed part.

It was great! The guy that came out was great, prompt, and had all the right equipment. He was terrific, polite, and personable. He really knew what he was doing and was able to get in and get the job done quickly. He seemed like a “I stand behind my work” kind of person and I would recommend him and use him again!

All American Door got back to me right away after my home warranty company sent them the referral, and scheduled the appointment for the same day. The technician was professional and prompt. He handled getting authorization from the warranty company to replace the opener once determining it was beyond repair, and he did the installation right away, as he had the replacement model in his truck. The amount spent listed here was the pre-warranty total for the opener, keypad and installation, not what I actually paid. I was impressed with the quick response and quick appointment, as well as the technician who did the work.

It went ok. Door is nice and opener works really well.

The service technician was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He performed the work excellently and quickly.

Called at 10:00 p.m. and had options of fixing then, early next morning or at 8. Opted for 8-10 a.m. window. Arrived at 8:30 after calling to tell me of traffic delay. Very courteous and professional. Helped locate a coupon.

It was an emergency call on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I called the company and Ryan happened to be in the area and showed up within 15 minutes. He was efficient, professional and friendly. I thought the price was very fair, since it was a weekend and an emergency. He explained what happened and did not try and talk us into making any unnecessary repairs. We would call them again for any other repairs we may need.

The garage door arrived in a couple of weeks. The tech left garbage, empty pop cans and put black greasy handprints all over the new garage door. I noticed a large gap to the outside and the door seemed crooked and off balance. I reported this to the company and for months they told me there was no problem. The noise and creaking when the door opened sounded like it was going to snap in half. The company finally sent the original sales rep out to meet with me. He proceeded to tell me it was the wiring in the garage (I think he chose the most expensive thing to move so I would give up). I paid an electrician several hundred dollars to rewire the garage. ( As a note, the door I was replacing was new that had been damaged in an accident. The previous door had no problems with wiring or otherwise). I called the company again. They agreed to send a tech out to "re-stack" the door. The tech came out and after several hours, made the door at least not have a gap to the outdoors. The door seemed fine and I went off to work thinking the problem was over. I came home late and attempted to open the garage door to put the trash out. To my complete shock, the track that screws into the wall and holds the pulley system of the entire door pulled out and the door lifted "crunching" into the metal track and then froze halfway open in a dented mess. I called the door company again, and they sent the same tech out the next morning. The tech re-stacked the dented and damaged mess of a door and told me it was due to "rotten wood"(not true the wood was dry) that he noticed the day before (but did not tell me or do anything about). This tech also admitted they should have used cement anchors as I have cement walls. He blamed sales for not ordering cement anchors. The walls are exposed cement block and almost anyone could have seen they are cement walls. I decided to send a letter to the "operations manager" who had previously left his business card in my mailbox saying that he did not see anything wrong with the door after he had showed up 2 hours late to a meeting due to my problems. This Manger called me back and said they only warranty a door for 30 days, and "good luck" suing him, and that my problem was that I am a liberal (not even sure where that came from). The bolt came out of the track again this week, but they seem to do more damage every time they come out. Overall this company has appallingly bad service and installations. I would not wish them on my worst enemy. I am now looking for a new garage door company via Angie's List.

They have done work for me in the past. They came out quickly and took care of it.

Went very well. Another company had told us they could come 4 days prior but did not, and one of our doors would not close. This company came out on the same day and took care of everything, plus did the lubrication I wanted done and installed the rollers (nice they have a lifetime guarantee!) so there would not be so much squeaking. And we got 2 keyless entry pads we had been wanting so that our son could get into the garage without taking a garage opener with him every time he went out on his bicycle.
