I would never consider to use them again or recommend them. He did not collect rent when he was supposed to. He disregarded complaints from tenants. He has failed to respond to emails and calls. He did not pay me the deposits that the tenants paid for their apartments. To get the rent money he owed me I had to get a lawyer involved. I was fined by the city of St. Paul $1000.00 because he did not register the house as being vacant. He also failed to return the security deposit of $695 to me or the tenant. As a real estate agent he should have been well aware of this.
Description of Work: This was for property management.

Rather than losing money on this failed transaction, this was a situation where we lost time and the perfect house for our growing family. To our knowledge, we had the highest bid, but this never confirmed or denied. Our frustration is in the total lack of professionalism and lack of regard by this company. The house was listed as a potential shortsale. We viewed it in May 2010 and put a purchase agreement on it shortly afterward at the agent's (Seth Geottl) suggestion. We had our diligent agent inquire on the status until September 2010 with no responses to any inquiries. I tried contacting Mike (primary owner) myself and was told that he would look into it. I never heard from him again. After over 90 days, we asked our realtor to give them one more chance before calling the purchase agreement expired/cancelled with no success. This was a short sale and while I expect some delays on the part of the lender, I certainly expect that the realtor would keep us abreast of the status. Even if they were not currently aware of the status of our purchase agreement, a return call/email would have sufficed with a expected follow up ETA. Rather, this group has demonstrated they are not professionals. I would suggest you look elsewhere for a realtor or management company. I cannot imagine the frustration of their clients if this is the way they handle business relationships. Status update September 12, 2010 - apparantly, there was some 'coming clean' by the agency. Not only were there some conflicts of interest involved (I'd rather not elaborate), but apparantly neither of the agents know anything about a short sale and what is entailed. After putting us through the wringer, after we had established a closing date for another house, they came back to us with the news that we were the highest bidder and "are you still interested"? Our agent found out that they had no BPO (or knew what that was), nor was the lender even approved for a short sale. So, good luck handling that one guys! Glad we found a better house with a professional agent!!
Description of Work: This is actually the listing agency for a house my husband and I put a purchase agreement on.
