+ -1 moreMike was able to re-splash the entire garage and house in a short turn around time at a great price. He did a great job of keeping items clean from over-spray. He let me borrow the color book and determine what new color we wanted.
Description of Work: The original stucco on the 1957 rambler was starting to show some wear.

+ -1 moreAffordable started on time, but only for a half day. I suspect this was only enough to get the down payment. I was asked if Affordable could keep the scaffolding at my house until they came back. This was, at least, approximately two weeks with scaffolding on the front of the house with no work done. The flashing on the chimney was peeled back exposed. I was told the way the flashing was installed, it could not be removed, but would be fixed. After completed and flashing was replaced was told it could have been fixed with stucco finish after all. It has an aluminum siding finish now. Two months ago three spots have stucco that have fallen off, exposing the old cracks and white color finish. After the color of the new stucco darkened, there is an area of the chimney that still shows white.
Description of Work: Re-Stucco and Patching. Bust away around top of all new windows and foundation on S. side. Install grade and tarpaper and 3.4 galvanized mesh. Brown coat areas using portland, mason cement, and fine sand. Finish coat entire house with 2 coat re-dash using white portland cement, silica sand, acryl bundiag (spelling?). Clean up and haul away debris from job. Also power wash house and repair all cracks in stucco prior to re-dash (Also remove white flashing on chimney)

+ 1 moreCalled for an estimate and received a visit the very next day. Since the siding work is subbed, it took about a week for the quote. He had worked on a similar house in the neighborhood and the quality of the company's work appeared good. We would have used the company, but a competitive quote came in much cheaper.

+ -1 moreRelatively promptly returned phone calls & arrived punctually. They were not willing to quote us on REPAIRING the stucco; they would only bid on removing all the stucco and redashing the whole section instead. We felt it was overkill considering the gaps around the new windows that need redashing were less than one inch wide.
