Mario and his crew did a great job. They ran into a couple stumbling blocks along the way (the drain in the floor for some reason would not accommodate draining the boiler) and were creative problem solvers. They were very courteous and quick in their work. They were also the lowest bid (by nearly $200) out of five contractors that I found on Angie's List.

They did a real good job cleaning up after themselves. They took the time to answer questions. They gave a free estimate which I liked. They were also friendly and cheerful.

Mario was prompt and friendly. The total cost was less than the estimates of 2 other companies. They did the work promptly and efficiently. However, they scratched the door jam and walls (nice 50 year-old wood paneling) in multiple places. When I called to complain, there was no reply. Admittedly, most of the area where they were working was gutted and major reconstruction was obviously required. However, we were planning on keeping the old paneling in the affected hallway. They should not have assumed they did not need to be careful with the walls.

They were responsive, clean, punctual and very affordable as the name suggests. I had no doubt that the job was being done professionally and up to code.

Mario was very prompt in giving us a bid on the asbestos removal. His bid was $4000 less than another company. The job took a day longer than he expected, and complications arose, but he stayed with his original bid. His workers were polite, and all did a great job of cleaning up when finished. A little later in our remodel, our contractor discovered he needed more abatement of another heating pipe. Mario was able to come out within a day and do that additional work so that we could stay on schedule with the remodeling.

As part of a boiler replacement project we had Mario remove our old asbestos insulated boiler pipes. They did the whole job in one day and everything went very smooth. They did a good job of cleaning up after the job was complete. Their price was lower than two other bids I received. I would recommend this company.

Very polite, good price and they cleaned up very well. They did a good job of removing all of the asbestos tile and glue.

He always communicated with us. Called us right back, and he is very clean. He is concise. The pipes look great. It was maybe a 2 day job. It was done when he said it would be done. I am just waiting on the air quality report, but other than that, it looks great. I would use him again.

I made a call for an estimate on Wednesday; Mario came out the same day to do the estimate. Because of the fantastic reviews and great pricing, we called Mario back the very next day to schedule the work. His crew came out on Friday, two days after the estimate. I cannot say enough about the work that they do. I was extremely impressed. And, they came out the next day (on a Saturday!) to check to see if there were any issues or problems. Kudos to this company. When we are ready to do our garage, we will be calling them back!

Mario was great - arrived on time, offered to have a sample of the tile and mastic tested, notified me of the asbestos content of the tile and mastic within a few days as promised, and prepared a detailed estimate for the job with included air sample testing. I asked Mario to send me an invoice for the tile testing, but he never billed me for it. His bid was the lowest of the ones I received. A different abatement contractor had more experience removing this kind of tile from wooden floors before, however, so I did not use Mario for this job. The other abatement contractor did not perform air sample testing though (it was not included in the bid, I noticed later) - that made me second-guess the decision not to use Mario's company after all. I would recommend Mario to others - he impressed me as a straight-forward, hard working guy.

Mario promptly returned my call requesting a bid for asbestos abatement. He had a conflict with the original weekday set for a walk-through but was willing to reschedule the following Saturday. He arrived on time to do the estimate. I was very pleased with his price (The most reasonable price out of four bids!), his knowledgeable discussion of the procedures (e.g., full containment or cut and wrap), and willingness to work with my schedule. I would have chosen An Affordable Abatement Co.; however, the heating contractor I chose to raise the heating pipes preferred to work with a competitor and matched the price.

They came in a did a great job. I was quoted the price of $125 on the phone for the job. When they got here the job was a bit more involved then they thought, but they stuck with the quote. Overall, a great place to work with.

An over-the-phone estimate of $600 for kitchen asbestos flooring and underlayment with adhesive was given for our 1921 home, 192 sq. ft., $3 a sq. ft. pricing. Mario sounded very sincere, professional, and had previous positive Angie's List recommendations. He said after I described the flooring that he didn't need to come see it as he'd done so many jobs before just like mine. He returned phone calls promptly. I asked for a written estimate to be mailed to me. I never received an estimate in writing from him. Based on this, I went with a different company.

MARIO DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS AFTER LEAVING 3 MESSAGES. WHEN HE FINALLY DID AND SCHEDULED AN ESTIMATE, HE WAS LATE IN ARRIVING AND WE FELT HE WAS IN A HURRY AND OUR JOB WAS NOT WORTH HIS TIME.

MARIO WAS ABLE TO SQUEEZE US IN. HE WAS ON TIME. HE AND HIS PARTNER WORKED FOR SEVERAL HOURS TO PULL UP CARPET AND FLOOR TILE THAT CONTAINED ASBESTOS. HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB. WE WILL BE HIRING HIM AGAIN TO DO THE REST OF OUR UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS.

WE HAD A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARRIVED WHEN PROMISED, WERE VERY REASONABLE IN PRICING, AND CLEANED UP THE AREA WELL.

MARIO WAS TIMELY AND FINISHED ALL WORK IN ONE DAY AS PROMISED, ALTHOUGH IT TOOK LONGER THAN HE EXPECTED (HE AND PARTNER WORKED FROM 9AM UNTIL 7PM). THEY WENT FAR BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS IN THEIR SERVICE, COURTESY AND PROFESSIONALISM. JOB WELL DONE, THANKS MARIO!

HE CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE, SQUEEZED US IN, IN THE EVENING AT THE END OF A LONG DAY BECAUSE WE WERE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO DO THE WORK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HE IS LICENSED, COMPLIANT WITH ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS, AND YET HIS BID WAS LESS THAN HALF OF TWO OTHER BIDS WE RECEIVED. HE CAME OUT THE FOLLOWING WEEK TO DO THE WORK, ARRIVED ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE WORK IN ABOUT 3-4 HOURS. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY TO WORK WITH, AND LEFT OUR HOME AS CLEAN AS WHEN HE ARRIVED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND USE AGAIN!

EXCELLENT WORK. STELLAR CARE WAS TAKEN IN PREPPING OUR BASEMENT FOR THE JOB AND COMPLETING THE JOB. ITEMS WERE CAREFULLY AND SAFELY MOVED AROUND THE BASEMENT TO GET THEM OUT OF THE WAY. NO ASBESTOS TAPE REMAINS OR IS VISIBLE. OWNER WAS FRIENDLY AND PERSONABLE AND IS VERY THOROUGH AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL ASBESTOS ISSUES: PERMITS, SAFETY, REMOVAL, AND TRICKS OF THE TRADE.

IN TALKING WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT THEY ALSO REPORTED SATISFACTION WITH MARIO BECAUSE HE ALWAYS SEEMS TO PULL THE APPROPRIATE PERMITS AND THEY HAVE VISITED HIS WORK SITES SEVERAL TIMES AND ALWAYS FOUND HIM IN COMPLIANCE. I HAD TO LEAVE FOR A MEETING BEFORE THE WORK WAS COMPLETE AND I SIMPLY LEFT HIM A KEY TO LOCK UP; HE WAS TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE AND TRUSTWORTHY AND EVEN CALLED ME LATER THAT EVENING TO MAKE SURE THAT I FOUND EVERYTHING WAS OKAY WITH THE HOUSE WHEN I RETURNED. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS WORK TO ANYONE!
