Description of Work: We were out of town and the overhead spring on our garage door broke during the evening. We needed to get our vehicle out the next day. We called other garage door companies the next morning but Advanced Garage Door was the only one who said they would be able to fix it the same day. They gave us an approximate time of 3:00 and the technician arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. He inspected the system and replaced the spring and the cables, as agreed. Advanced Garage will be my first call next time I need any work done on the garage doors.

Description of Work: As far as I could tell the new springs seemed fine. However within a few days two problems: (1) intermittently the door would not close; and (2) door would not auto reverse when hit something. I contacted Advanced - they didn't think it was their fault. So I contacted a garage door installer. They were kind enough to do a free check and found a force adjustment was needed - that would be a result of the springs. So get confirmation that Advanced checks the force adjustment with new spring installations and is willing to come back for adjustments.

Description of Work: Removed old broken door and replaced with new door and track. |They provided great timely responses from when I called to get a quote, coming out to see the damaged door and had a new door installed the next day! They did great work and we are very happy with our new door. Highly recommend them!

The price was very reasonable and the employee courteously answered all my questions and did a great job. Garage door has worked perfectly for three months since this install was completed. I would use them again in the future without hesitation.

Description of Work: Our garage door stopped working on a Sunday...we emailed advanced garage doors and within 1 hour, he had responded to our email and was able to be out to the house by Monday morning. Very timely and completed high quality work the following morning. Really appreciated the responsiveness over the weekend as these things can happen and we needed our cars out for work the next day.

They were able to come out sooner than originally scheduled through Angie's List website which was fantastic! Having your garage door fail never happens at a convenient time... of course.... One of the guys arrived perfectly on time and had our garage door up and running :-) in no-time. Very pleased with the work and professionalism. Highly recommended!

It turned out that a bracket came loose from the ceiling and Justin bolted the door back in place (using additional support than originally done). I had called Justin after checking Angie's list reviews. His company was the first one I came to on the list and after seeing all straight A ratings and tons of positive comments, he sounded like just the person I was looking for. I called Justin on a Saturday during his posted business hours and expected to reach voicemail, of course. NOT!!! Justin answered the phone, listened to my situation and we scheduled a service (first stop on Monday morning), all within a 4 minute conversation. Monday morning came, Justin called while en route and arrived promptly, as planned. Justin took a look at my situation and said he could fix the problem right away. In addition, he gave me information about an safer upgrade should I choose to do that in the future, which I really appreciated! I loved everything about this experience!! I would recommend this company in a heartbeat!!!!!!!

Description of Work: This vendor did a great job . A garage door spring broke on Sunday afternoon . I contacted the vendor and obtained a service date for Monday morning . The technician was on time and finished the work quickly . I accepted an offer to perform an inspection and lube for $30 (included in cost above )

Description of Work: They replaced the cables and springs. It cost more for the springs I got, which were the galvanized steel springs, but they also had a lifetime guarantee and I don't want to have to ever replace them again. They arrived earlier than expected, but the serviceman called prior and was in the area so I obliged him to come earlier than my service window. I've had work done by them in the past as well and felt comfortable with their work. He was very efficient and done quickly. No problems or complaints since. |
