I signed up for Angie's List last night and looked for a garage door repair service after our garage door spring broke yesterday. It is a heavy door, and I wasn't looking forward to manually opening it until someone could come over the holiday week. I was also concerned about the price. Advanced Garage Door has a great deal for new springs and installation. Ben was just here-replaced BEFORE NOON today! I am thrilled! Thank you!

Terrific. Within 5 minutes of placing the order online (where we indicated that my wife's car was trapped within the garage), we received a call from Advanced Garage Door Solutions. They told us they'd arrive at our house within 30 minutes and they did. The first thing the friendly technician did was free my wife's car. He then set about replacing the springs, which come with a five year warranty. From the time I placed the order to the time that the work was completed, I don't think more than an hour and a half passed. Very impressive. While having a garage door break is not the most fun way to spend $150, we are very pleased with the service we received and for Angie's List for recommending Advanced Garage Door Solutions.

I made contact to advances garage door solutions early Monday morning, they gave me a two hour window and service was there within an hour and a half. I appreciated Ben the service tech calling a half hour before he arrived. The price quote was accurate, the service was speedy and professional. Door opener stopped working. Called and they came out within 1 hour. Had the opener installed within 2 hours. Great service!

I was having trouble lowering the garage door. I called Advanced and got an appointment within 24 hrs. They would have come out the same day, but I wasn't available. Justin listened to description of the the problem and knew right away what it was. He adjusted the electronic eye and showed me what the problem was. Since the rollers and hinges had not been serviced in 4 years, he lubricated them and then told me how to do it myself. He also gave me some tips about changing my code so the keypad numbers don't get too much wear. I had a couple of other questions and he did not try to sell me services that were not needed. Justin was very professional and pleasant. I will definitely use Advanced Garage Door Solutions again.

Justin was prompt with response to my scheduling request, was on time for the appt, and was very helpful during the process. He answered my questions about the install, and even explained about the particular opener I had purchased. Since I have a tuck-under garage, he recommended that I upgrade the opener for about $25 more to get a quieter one, but was not pushy about it, either. He also lubricated the runners on the door to make it close quieter and more efficiently than it had been. I was very pleased.

I purchased the Angie's List deal from ADVANCED GARAGE DOOR SOLUTIONS for $149. Justin contacted me within an hour of placing my order and came out the next day. He replaced the two springs quickly and was very professional. He saved us a lot of money and he did good work. I highly recommend this company!

He did the lube job without cost; he was very professional and pleasant and pointed out to me other work that needed to be done. He also left me a can of lubricant for future work I could do myself. The garage door is much quieter now, something I hadn't expected. I was very pleased with every aspect of the work, which is something I often can't say about other projects I hire work for. (I can't remember what it cost, so the $200 is just a guess.)

I am fairly confident (sometimes more than I should be) in my abilities to do home repairs on my own. However, garage doors, especially the springs, scare me. I called Advanced and they had a person out at my house that same day. In fact, he would have been out there early, but I chose a later time to accomodate my schedule. He spent some time checking over everything, then called me back in to give me his diagnosis. He went through all the issues he saw, explaining each one very well. At the end of that conversation, I felt very comfortable that I had a good understanding of the issues and how necessary each repair was. Given the low price, the peace of mind knowing that the repair was done properly and safely and that it would extend the life of my opener, the choice was easy. He had all the necessary parts in his truck. The garage door was fixed within an hour. Very pleased with the entire process.

Thought garage door opener itself needed to be replaced and Ben was honest and said it was just the remote which was very much appreciated. Ben did a great job, was on time and efficient. Thanks!

I called in the morning because one of the springs had broken and I could not open my garage door, I had a return call just a couple minutes after I called and they scheduled me in for the same day. The technician was courteous and fast and my door works great again!

It went great. I called on March 23 and they came out in the morning on the 24th and replaced the garage door opener. Also, just today (May 2) I had an issue with my garage door not closing properly. My garage is circa 1932 and is pretty crooked. I guess the whole structure had moved a little bit as spring has begun to warm things up and the door was not sliding up and down in the tracks. Advanced garage door came out the same day I called and looked at it for me. Since I had recently had the door opener replaced, he didn't charge me an extra service fee for the visit; just 40 bucks to make some adjustments to the track. Great service and great value!

Highly recommend this provider. I had a phone call to schedule service within about 4 hours of purchasing. Scheduling was flexible and he arrived on time (right at the beginning of the time window). Service provider was very friendly and professional, job went off without a hitch. Top Notch and exactly the way it should be!

One of my garage door springs broke and needed to be replaced. I purchased a deal through Angieslist (149 for two springs installed) for this provider and 6 minutes later they called to set up an appointment for the following day. Very professional, and excellent communication. Technician recommended replacing rollers as existing rollers were going to fail in the near future. The cost for replacing 10 rollers and a tune-up was an additional $130, and it was worth the extra money. Garage door works excellent and would highly recommend.

Everything went extremely well. Justin was very professional and courteous and very timely in his work. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody else and plan on keeping his information for future repair work.

The provider called me back within five minutes of me buying the service to schedule the appointment. He was extremely professional and courteous. They had someone out to my house within three hours to fix the problem. The service guy called 10 minutes prior to arriving and was friendly, courteous and had the broken springs fixed promptly and was on his way and the door now works great. I would definately use them again.

Fantastic service from this company. I couldn't be more happy with the situation. My garage door spring failed at 7pm Easter Sunday and by 7am Monday morning, Justin (the owner) had me all fixed up with 2 new springs and a 5 year warranty. The price was unbeatable and their knowledge and professionalism top notch. I will no doubt turn to them in the future when I finish my garage and upgrade to fully insulated garage doors. Highly recommended.

Needed someone to come out and check my door since it was randomly not always staying closed. I could clearly see one of the rollers was bent as well. Made my connection thru Angie's List for the $69 maintenance and safety check and was contacted within the hour. Appt was made for the next afternoon which was really convenient since I already had the day off. He went thru a 24pt check of the door and opener and replaced 1 hinge. He also recommended that I replace my other rollers down the road. After asking about the cost, I thought it seemed reasonable so I had him take care of replacing the rollers the same day. There was no pressure to do so had I waited until a later time. Also told me how to maintain the rollers and hinges going forward. Very professional; would definitely call them again for any future repairs.

The charge was $149 for the two springs through the purchase of a Big Deal plus $65 for the two cables. Justin arrived to do the work less than 12 hours after I discovered a broken spring and bought the Big Deal...and it wasn't until 7:30 p.m. when I started searching Angie's List for a repair person! Shortly after purchasing the Big Deal Justin contacted me and set the appointment for 7:30 a.m. the next morning. After his prompt arrival, he examined the door and thoroughly explained its condition and all parts and made the suggestion to replace the cables before we were left with an inoperable door again sometime down the road, as one of them was rusted. I agreed and he got to work and left everything in great working order. I paid a competitor $120 in 2010 to replace just one cable, so I know the charge for the cables was very reasonable. I couldn't have asked for better service, and thanks to Angie's List, Justin, and the Big Deal, I have a new 'go to' guy for garage door repairs!

I got a call to set up the appointment only about an hour after buying the deal and he was out the next morning. He provided a checklist at the end of the items he checked or did maintenance on. He showed me a couple problems I should have fixed but didn't put any pressure on me to have them fixed right then. I did go ahead and have the work done as the additional cost was nominal. He also adjusted the tension so the auto reverse would work and the door would't slam down. Overall, I thought it was worth the price.

I had an excellent experience with this company. Within 15 minutes of purchasing an Angie's List special deal, I recieved a call from the company and was able to schedule the service for later that day. The service took about 30 minutes and everything is now working great.

Great! We had been struggling with aligning our sensors for quite sometime and therefore, our garage wasn't working. Ben fixed our sensors in about 5 minutes and recommended new rollers, which is making a huge difference in the sound the garage door makes. He completed the multi-point tune up. He mentioned that we have the loudest garage door on the market and we could upgrade for a very reasonable price. We'll absolutely be doing this since we've always thought our garage door was too loud. Looking forward to using them again for new installation.
