The whole process went smoothly. Communication was great. The work team arrived promptly at 7am. They were very efficient and finished the job a little earlier than expected. Our home was treated with care during the removal of the old furnace and installation of the new. Everything was clean and neat when they finished. Bob helped us with all of the rebate forms. Professional, friendly, honest!! Our furnace works perfectly and we look forward to the AC in the summer. The company was recommended to us by our neighbor and now we are pleased to recommend Action Heating and Air to others.

Bob and Jay from "Action Heating & Air" are good guys who demonstrate a passion for their chosen profession. They installed a Carrier furnace/central AC system for us at a competitive cost. They stand behind their work and emphasize customer satisfaction. We set up a mutually agreeable installation date, and, on that date, Bob, Jay, and a couple of additional helpers began work at 7 AM (their normal start time, I believe) and had the complete installation finished by 10 AM, including disposal of all old equipment and material. (The large pieces of metalwork had already been accurately pre-made in their shop, which was a major factor in expediting the installation process.) They treated our house with respect and they left behind no messes. The quality of their metalwork and the general level of their workmanship was excellent. I had initially considered going with a large HVAC contractor, but decided instead that I'd rather go with a smaller operation for superior personal attention, and it's worked out well.

Very well. They know their stuff with Carrier units. Have given me good recommendations, pricing, and the installs were very clean, communicated well, and they gave excellent advice. After having done a few remodels and had many of our mechnicals redone, I can appreciate really clean handiwork and that is these guys. The pricing seems to fit and I have recommended them to neighbors.

Great company! You don't feel like just a number. They are personable, keep you informed along the way and take extra steps to ensure the installation goes smoothly (they even complete the rebates for you!!!!!). I have had a number of negative experiences with other contractors, but these guys made the process a breeze.

Bob was great! I got a few different quotes and he was by far the most competitive, trustworthy and gave best service/communication during the whole process. He took care of all the rebates that came with the products and utility companies which totaled an additional $1575 discount from the above price. Bob was prompt and did everything he promised in a timely manner. I would gladly refer him to all my friends and family. Not often the salesperson is the actual installer and customer service rep, that was the deciding factor for me. I always prefer to have the same person I work with from start to finish.

The workers arrived punctually @ 7:00 am. Bob confirmed what the installation would include, discussed the permits and went over the rebate forms, some of which he had already taken care of on line. Then, it was like watching a finely tuned machine. Bob and Scott worked on disconnecting the old furnace while Jay was outside setting up for the ac installation. The Helper was uncrateing, hauling and getting material ready. By 8:00 the old furnace and duct work was at the curb. Around 9:00 their metal recycling contractor came and picked up all the old stuff from the curb. The electrician arrived around 9:15, installed the AC disconnect outside, pulled new stat cable, installed the new thermostat and was gone by 10:00. The installation was properly completed, everything was checked and tested, the work site was totally clean and the crew was pulling out of the driveway at 10:35 am. This Carrier AC unit is amazingly quiet, and the DC fan motor is definitely quieter than my old furnace. I am so pleased with the products they installed, the 10 yr parts and labor warranty, and the quality of the installation itself. I would highly recommend Action Heating and Air.

Since our furnace was 23 years old and there was the potential of the Federal mandate to not sell the less efficient furnaces after May 1 2013 (because our lower level was finished, a high efficiency furnace would have entailed some significant remodel work), we decided to do replace the furnace. Another issue was that it was difficult to get balance heat and cooling in all areas of the house, since we had put an addition onto the house. Bob explained that this Carrier model was one of the best in the 80% efficiency range featuring a variable speed motor and 2 stage heating. He explained that the electricity to run the motor would be much less than our current furnace AND the furnace would be much quieter. Also, the motor/fan would be set to run continuously, at low speed, to help keep the heat/cooling more balance in the house. We were given a firm written quote and description of new equipment and work to be done. We had several other quotes for the job and found that Action's quote was very competitive, particularly for was was included (in addition to product, Action includes a 10 year parts AND labor warranty - labor for 10 years is usually an additional $200 at other vendors). After reviewing our options, we decided to go with Action. They arrived as scheduled at 7:00 am on December 4th, with 3 workers (including the owner). The work was completed and they were gone by 11:00 am. We are very pleased with the furnace and how quiet it is! The heat is better distributed than with our old furnace - not perfect, but better. Good Job!

They were excellent. Very professional and efficient. Bob was quite knowledgeable and explained everything, answered my questions, and had the job completed at least a full hour before I had hoped. I would recommend this company and would do business with them again if the need arises.

Overall it went great, a worry free, BS free, repair. Jay came out and inspected my failing air conditioner. He found the problem immediately and fixed it immediately. He fixed it for a good price. He was very friendly and offered up a lot of good tips about maintaining our A/C unit and keeping our house cooler. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Call these guys. They're good.

They did everything they said they would do. I've had them out before and they didn't have an outside vent so they came back and put it in, no charge. He calls you back, he's there when he says he'll be at your house, and there are no surprises. His price is very reasonable.

The technician was very prompt, professional and friendly. He explained to me the potential problems and what the options to fix it were (I'm female). He even offered suggestions as to some things we can try ourselves without calling out a technician again in the future. Very helpful!

JAY THE OWNER CAME OUT AND GAVE US A BID. VERY INFORMATIVE, ORGANIZED, AND PROMPT. HE ENCOURAGED US TO GET ADDITIONAL BIDS AND DID NOT PRESSURE US IN ANY WAY. IT WAS A VERY COMFORTABLE INTERACTION. WE RECEIVED SEVERAL OTHER BIDS. SOME MUCH HIGHER, NONE CHEAPER, AND A FEW COMPETITIVE WITH ACTION. WE COULDN'T BEAT THE WARRANTY ACTION OFFERED AND OUR OVERALL GOOD FEELING ABOUT THE COMPANY. WE WERE RIGHT! THE INSTALLERS WERE CLEAN, COURTEOUS, AND SKILLED. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY EVEN USED RUGS TO KEEP MY FLOORS CLEAN! THE JOB WENT GREAT! IT LOOKS SO NEAT, WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE JOB. IT HAS REALLY AFFECTED OUR ENERGY BILLS. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!
