We have had Aaron's company clean our house for the past 4 years, Aaron and Jim have always been such a pleasure to work with and are always attentive to our needs. We like that Aaron pays his employees a respectable wage, develops his own green cleaning products, and that we have the same cleaner each time. They are very receptive to feedback and work hard to keep the customer happy.

I was really excited about this company. I love that they use all natural products and pay a livable wage to their employees. However, my overall experience was not good. I scheduled my estimate with Aaron a couple weeks out from when we spoke on the phone. He called the night before and said he had to cancel because he did not check his personal calendar and needed to take care of his kids. I was irritated, but ended up calling a couple weeks later to reschedule the estimate. Aaron and Jim came to my house and were pleasant. We walked through the house and I let them know what I would like cleaned. He emailed me a couple days later, with an estimate for around $200 and a list what I wanted cleaned. I agreed and they came out the next week. Jim (manager) and Meggie (cleaner) arrived on Wednesday morning, October 28th. Before I left the house with my kids, Jim said to send detailed feedback to Aaron about the cleaning. When I got home, I was really unsatisfied with a number of rooms in my house and sent an email to Aaron with that feedback. Here are just a few of the issues that I mentioned in my email to Aaron. The cleaners dusted around things on the mantel and night stands, so there was still a bunch of dust left. The tub in the kid's bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. There was a lot of white residue left on the bathroom counter. The mirrors were very streaky. These are all things that I would expect to be done when paying someone to clean my house. Also, these are all things that I mentioned to Aaron and Jim when they were at my house for the estimate a few weeks before. I received a response to my email 2 weeks later. Here's Aaron's email : Thank you for your follow up and thanks too for your initial message. I apologize taking so long to respond to you. I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback from our first cleaning. We were happy to hear the positive feedback, and sorry to hear the rest of the experience wasn?t what you were expecting. We are feeling like we may just not be a good fit for you and have decided to take a pass on continuing service at your place. I want to thank you for the opportunity to offer our service to you, and would like you to please have that first cleaning on us. Thanks again and Best Wishes, aaron I guess it's nice that he didn't charge me for the horrible cleaning, but I expected that he would address my concerns and perhaps apologize.

We have decided to stay with Aaron's service long-term. We have someone come once a month to our two-story, two-adult home. We like Aaron's because the cleaning is top-notch, they use organic cleaning products that Aaron himself has formulated, we like his business model (the cleaners are employees, not independent contractors ? much better deal for them), we get the same cleaner every month, and most of the cleaners are artists for whom this is a day job. So this is one of our contributions to art in the Twin Cities.

They don't wash the windows. I like that they give a livable wage to the cleaning people. I have used them for about a year. They are okay, they are not great, but nobody is great. If they like me anyone cared about the people doing the work got a livable wage, which they do, then they should use them. Which is the trouble with some of the other places, I felt like I paid the company a bunch of money, but the people doing the hard work didn't get any money. I'd rather find an individual who can come and clean the house rather then paying a company. I clean the house myself, and I know it is a hard job.

Was our first time having a housecleaning service; it went well. They provide their own great-smelling products. A few spots missed but if we had kept with it long-term I know that would have been cleared up - Aaron is very good at communicating (and via text which is easy for me), and I was able to request specific areas targeted, etc. We had them clean monthly for 4 months-ish - only stopped because of logistics and finances (have two wee ones that nap during day and a dog that had to get out of house). Would definitely hire again!

Our cleaner Jim is the best. He loves us and our dogs and faithfully gets a sometimes filthy job done with a smile.

They charge about 45-50 bucks an hour. They are good, but I wouldn’t say anything that really stands out. I think the owner is very personable, professional, and nice. They use environmentally friendly products, which is good. He has one of his employees that come to the house to do the cleaning and I am not wowed by her skills, it is pretty standard. I don’t really have a lot of experience with the pricing, but it seemed high. It seems like I am paying for really top quality housecleaning, but basically the person that comes to clean is kind of just a student and it seems like she has not grown up having to clean very often and she doesn’t know the tricks.

We used Aaron's Green Cleaning for a recurring housecleaning service every 4 weeks for over a year, ending January 2013. Our primary reason for ending the service was financial. If we resume use of a recurring cleaning service, we will probably use them again. The owner, Aaron, was very responsive and helpful in setting up a service of scope and scale that fit our needs and budget. He generated a cost estimate which was in the ballpark (and on the lower end) of other quotes/estimates we received. On the first in-home cleaning, he and two staff members did a full cleaning and generated a final price for recurring service, which was pretty consistent with his original estimate. We set a schedule that worked for both sides, so that we would have the same person cleaning our home every time. We were very pleased with their flexibility and courtesy. The person cleaning our home was not perfect, as he occasionally missed some spots, but on the whole we were happy and never had cause to complain. Someone who was a bit higher maintenance than my wife and I might have been more annoyed. If we had made any complaints, it was clear that the owner would have been extremely responsive to them. As far as customer service goes, Aaron is outstanding. I would recommend this company.

The reviewers are correct that the owner is pleasant and did come by the house to meet and provide an estimate. At this initial meeting the owner stated that if a particular cleaner was not working out, he would switch them out. First couple of times cleaning there were misses. I called the owner to discuss them. His initial thought AND comment was "maybe I should fire X". I commented that I didn't feel that was necessary, but that it was his business and that decision was best left to him. After the issues persisted, I called the owner to discuss the problem again. I mentioned our prior discussion that if the cleaner was not working out he was willing to replace them with another that would be a better fit. The owner denied saying that. I commented that this was interesting since he previously stated that he was considering terminating the employee. The owner denied saying this as well. At this juncture, the cleaning is less than stellar. When I come home the house does not feel or look clean. It is clear that the issues will not be addressed by the owner. I have also tried to address them directly with the cleaner to no avail. I should also say that the owner did offer a discount on one days cleaning service once. The other conversations became increasingly defensive, so i stopped calling. I am truly sorry that I have had to write this review, however, I do so to confirm what another reviewer wrote about having a similar issue.

Aaron's has been cleaning our house every other week for about a year and a half. They are very reliable. While they are not always right on time, Aaron always texts me ahead of time if they need to come an hour or two later than usual. That was the arrangement we came up with. I expect that if I needed them to keep a more strict schedule, he would. He is very respectful of his customer's time and schedules. They do a good job of cleaning in the time allotted. We settled on a three hour clean every-other-week, so they do certain things every time they come and then other things they only do occasionally. Aaron also makes his own eco-friendly cleaning products that make the house smell really good after cleaning day.

I've been using Aaron's Green Clean for years and have always been very happy with their work. They are there when they say they will be, making other arrangements well in advance when necessary. They always do a thorough job and remember the idiosyncrasies of my house (like not to let the escape cat out and not to line the wastebaskets because the other cat tries to eat the plastic). I love the way their custom made cleaner smells and that I don’t have to worry about them using any toxic chemicals. On the rare occasions when they miss something, a quick phone call is all that is required and they return the next day to resolve it. I am very particular and I’ve hired and fired many housekeepers over the years, but Aaron’s professional integrity, trustworthy staff and quality service have kept me as a client long term.

Although we have only have a short time of working with Aaron, we are absolutely delighted. Prompt, friendly and professional, Aaron is passionate about services his clients. His natural ingredient cleaning products leave the house smelling clean, but not in a antiseptic or perfumed way. His attitude is positive and appreciative and we expect to have a long relationship with as customers of his service.

Aaron is very good to work with. He came the first time with the cleaners who would be assigned permanently so that all my directions were clear to the workers. He keeps in touch and verifies dates. I have found his pricing reasonable and the work satisfactory. He is also open to feedback.

Jim is very reliable and he uses all natural products, unless we specifiy otherwise. He cleans our entry, dining, hallway, kitchen, bathroom upstairs. Downstairs he cleans the stairwell, hallway, laundry, bathroom, bedroom. The house always smells clean and is very tidy. If we have any special requests - it is easily accomodated. We feel the service provides a healthy, clean environment for us and our pets.

I pay $45 per hour. We have an agreement on what they clean. They came and did an assessment of our house and we did a plan. We first experimented to see what we needed done and then we agreed that they could do what I needed done in 2 1/2 hours unless there were special projects that I might say that I wanted done. The people that come are very personable and friendly. They do what we have agreed upon and they are punctual. They work hard and don't spend their time talking on the phone or listening to the radio; they just do their work. They bring all their own equipment and cleaning supplies. They are quite wonderful people.

It went very well. They have cleaned probably four times now. They come on time. I think they are pretty good. There is nothing that I really like or really don't like about them. They are very good about punctuality and professionalism.

They do a nice job and we have had a good experience. They are professional and we have enjoyed interacting with them. They charge $45.00 per hour. They are very responsive if I have any specific requests. They actively solicit feedback on their work.

It is always a pleasure to come home after Aaron's crew has been here. The house smells fresh without a perfumey odor. They do a great job, using their own green cleaning products and make sure we are satisfied with their work.

My family has tried several different cleaners, both via "services" and independent cleaners referred by friends and neighbors. I have never felt so comfortable with someone in my house and I have never been so pleased with the quality results as with Aaron's Green Cleaning. I first spotted the company in the Blue Sky Guide and then looked him up on Angie's List. Once Aaron came over to give us a consult, I could see how detailed he was and interested in the areas I emphasized. If I so choose, I can request a completely different cleaning "game plan" for each visit. Aaron has also been really flexible with his dates and times; I've made special requests for our vacation and as preparation for a party. His professionalism and "green" cleaning methods are just bonuses! I love coming home after Aaron and his cleaners have been at my house and I've referred his services to several friends and co-workers.

Aaron and his partner spent 2 hours cleaning our 3000 sq ft house. They did a great job, focusing on floors, bathrooms and kitchen. Aaron came over to do an estimate before hand so we knew the time/cost for a good cleaning. He was very interested in what my priorities were. After the cleaning he walked through the house with me and went over a few missed spots. He was always very professional and concerned with making sure we were satisfied with the cleaning. He uses "green" cleaning products that he makes himself, and the house smelled very clean, but not chemically.

From the beginning Aaron was easy to communicate with, prompt and professional. He came to see the house and give an estimate. He took his time explaining his practices and was keen to hear what we specifically needed from a cleaner. After he'd finished each house he called to let me know what they did and where he'd spent extra time and was sure to let me know he'd like feedback and would be happy to come back if there was something not done to our satisfaction. Aaron and his team did a sensational job getting the hard wood floors clean as well as the rest of the house. We felt confident we could move into the new house and most importantly knew it was safe and clean for our family. We also were very happy with the job they did on our old house and didn't have to worry about spending hours getting it ready for renters. It was well worth spending the money to have both houses cleaned and would have taken us hours that we simply didn't have.
