A TREE SVC INC

It is really disappointing to think that a business would do sloppy work when taxpayer dollars are being used, but that is what A Tree Service did. Under City of Minneapolis contract to do summer storm cleanup, A Tree Service arrived last week (October) to do stump removal of a tree that had been cut down last summer on the boulevard in front of our house in South Minneapolis. I knew it was them by the sign on the truck that arrived. As the worker was conducting the chipping, I went out to warn him about our under ground sprinkler lines, waiting while he worked. He got into his car hurriedly and drove off, leaving me standing there on the sidewalk. (!) He even drove over and broke the temporary sign the city had posted, and left it lying there. To add injury to insult, he had driven his pickup truck on the boulevard and left deep ruts in the sod ground. I thought that he might return to clean up. Someone did return while I was gone, but just dumped some loose dirt on top of the stump area - still didn't clean up or repair the damage. I waited a couple days, tried to use a pitch fork to fix the ruts, then called A Tree service, and they took my address. NO clean-up. I called again today because they have still not returned to clean up. I was told they would get around to it, wouldn't explain why they wouldn't just finish the job like they would if it were not mere city taxpayers covering the bill. A Tree Service gets an F.

This service damaged my property while trimming my neighbors Elm tree. I called the office and office worker was rude and condescending and told me she would get back to me about the damage to my property. I was not called back by this company and the damage remains. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! This company is not responsible for their actions, or damage they cause.

Went great. We are looking forward to enjoying extra light in our shady lot.
