A-Plus Carpet Cleaning

Working with A-Plus was a pleasure from beginning to end. Jim Merriam, the co-owner, provided the service. He called ahead on the day of service to confirm that he was on his way, showed up on time, measured my space and told me exactly what the price would be before he started the project. He was thorough and fast in his work, was careful to protect my furniture, woodwork and walls and kept me apprised of what he was doing as he worked his way through the rooms in my home. I was extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of his work and would not hesitate to recommend A-Plus to everyone.

They did a great job. Received a quick bid, they scheduled the job for 2 days later and completed the job when they indicated they would. Did a great job. Very nice people.

Cleaning went great. It took a while to dry but the carpet looked much better when finished. They were very good about moving furniture and putting pads under the legs of all of the furniture.

It has gone excellent, overall. He is professional and does a thorough job. He goes along the baseboards and moves the furniture. He does a good job and doesn't leave a mess. He is very punctual. The one time he was going to be late he called and let me know he'd be a little late.

I called on a Monday morning and spoke with Paul Sievert. I asked how quickly he could come and his response was 'how about tomorrow morning?' Fantastic! I was remodeling an upstairs bedroom and after pulling everything out of the room I could see that we should have done the rooms much sooner. Paul was here earlier than promised. He pre-sprayed all rooms and then went though starting with the upstairs. He offered a silicone finish on the carpet and I declined. No pressure at all - I absolutely loved that. Paul is friendly and personable - a joy to work with. He was done quickly and made sure that existing furniture was elevated, etc. Next time we need our carpets shampooed there is no question who we'll call. Very satisfied with the overall experience.

These guys are so personable and so professional and they do a great job cleaning. They came in, took some measurements, quoted me a price and got to work immediately. I've used them before and they always go the extra mile for me...whether it's deodorizing, extra time on removal of stubborn stains or cleaning some of the throw rugs that I've got in the kitchen and hallway. Using their service isn't like using a big firm...these guys have a stake in my satisfaction and they work hard to make sure I'm pleased with the work.

Pretreated and cleaned over and over. When I asked them to go over the stairs one more time, they happily did so. Very professional and we would definitely use them again.

Paul returned my call from out of town on vacation. He said he could do the job by the end of the week. He called that day and said he could come earlier than scheduled if that worked for us. He was clear that he could not totally eliminate the cat odors, but made several helpful suggestions (replacing the pad, using an organic spray on a daily basis, etc.) He went over the carpet three times and did a great job. Although the cost was higher than I anticipated (we had not discussed cost until he arrived) I felt it was definitely worth it considering the cat problem and the amount of work involved. The carpet looks great!

Scheduled service within a couple days of my calling, they quoted me prices and explained what they'd be doing in advance. They arrived on time and did a very professional job. They worked efficiently and cleaned up prior to leaving. They were very friendly and there were no surprises. Great experience, I've already referred someone else to them.

It went great! Not only did they clean well at the estimated cost, but they were able to remove stains from the carpet that no other carpet cleaner has been able to remove. Part of the carpet also smelled from several accidents our large dog had there. Paul said they would probably not be able to remove the odor, but once the carpet was entirely dry, the odor was gone. While they were here, I asked them if they would do me a favor and carry a large, awkward and heavy darkroom enlarger from the second floor to the garage, and they even did that, no hesitation! I would highly recommend A+.

The experience was excellent. He was punctual and very polite. He told me what he was doing and he was very thorough. He got out some stains that I didn't think he could.

The people they sent out were very good and they seemed to bend over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. They were very accommodating, I was very satisfied with their service and I would use them again.

It was a very positive experience, quickly and efficiently accomplished. The guys got here promptly and were dog-friendly. I especially wanted to deodorize rugs to prevent further "accidents" and they understood that perfectly. The cleaning went quickly and they were gone in just over three hours. Because I had both wall to wall carpeting and the area rugs, Paul didn't charge me the extra that area rugs alone can cost. He also tried to get some spots out of a kitchen sisal rug that was stained and cleaned a small round wool rug that I put in front of the stairs -- no charge here.

Contractors arrived on time, cleaned all of my carpet in less than 2 hours, left foam pieces under the heavy furniture so as to allow the carpet to dry underneath it. They were very courteous and efficient.

Called and left a message asking for information and they promptly called us back. We agreed on the price and time. We moved small things in the room, but they worked with the larger furniture, so we did not have to move that. They arrived on time, explained the procedures. Some parts of the carpet were badly stained and they spent extra time on those spots. The work was done quickly and thoroughly, and our carpet looks great.

The carpet in these rooms were in need of a good cleaning due to pet ownership by both myself (2 cats) and the previous owners dog (not to mention several young children! Paul did a thorough cleaning of all areas, as well as spot removal. He was careful to make sure door jams were not scratched/ scuffed by the hoses. I really enjoyed talking with Paul as well during the cleaning. I will continue using A-Plus for annual cleanings.

It went well they were on time and professional my son and I were home so they worked around us they were flexible. I think The price was a little high but they did a very good job. I also had nothing to compare the price to.

This was a great experience. I called based on recommendations from this site, and Paul (co-owner) actually answered the phone directly. I described what I needed done and he said he could fit the job in the NEXT DAY between two other jobs he had scheduled in my area! He was very personable on the phone and up front about their pricing per square foot and per stair, which made it easy to feel like I knew what to expect at the start. They called ahead the next morning to say they were on their way and arrived in the window of time we had discussed. When they arrived, Paul was very professional and friendly, as was his helper, Joe. Paul chatted with myself AND my two young kids on and off while they were working, which I felt was nice and put us at ease. He even mentioned that they were especially liking their customers from Angie's List because most of us were looking for a company with which to have an ongoing relationship...made me feel good to know they were looking to keep me happy and coming back! The whole job went smoothly...they were even extra careful about not tipping over my flowerpots on the front porch with their hose! At the end, Paul went over what they did and encouraged me to give them a call back once it dried if I found anything I thought should have been done better. I doubt that will be necessary, though, as the carpet looks great and I'm happy with the job they did.

They were very nice and friendly. He was completely thorough and was passionate about his work. He guaranteed his work for me. I had a dog stain and he went over it four times and made it look as good as possible. I was worried about his materials being toxic and he OKed it for me.
