A-Plus Carpet Cleaning

The guys were great. They gave me a rough estimate over the phone. We set up an appointment and they confirmed the amount. Went to work very quickly and were done in no time. My carpets were looking dingy and caked with pet hair - now they look fantastic.

They were absolutely terrific. They were able to come on short notice. There were right on time and completed the work quickly. The quality of their work was outstanding. We've had our carpet cleaned before, but it never looked this good. And they did some throw rugs at no additional charge -- and even did two of them without my asking. Even though they were a bit more expensive than other bids we got, it was well worth it. Paul and his partner were very professional, friendly and hard working!! I would recommend them or hire them again in a heart-beat.

I've been using this company for 3+ years after originally discovering them on Angie's List. As usual, they were great to work with. They are personable, professional and thorough. I paid for the family room and a stairwell and they did a couple of throw rugs on their own as a bonus. With pets I probably get my carpets cleaned more often than others and I always call A-Plus.

They were professional. They did a good job, but they could have done a better job. I think that if I cleaned it twice, I could have done it better myself.

It all went fine. They were courteous, efficient and reasonable. They came on time and did a good job. It was satisfactory.

Outstanding! The team arrived exactly on time. As it was the first time they'd ben here, owner/operator Paul explained each step of the process. They worked very hard to redo less than satisfactory cleaning by the previous company. The ten-year-old carpeting looks really good again, and the upholstered pieces like new. I will definitely use them again.

We worked with them and it went fine. We actually had a very small job and they did a good job on a small job, though they probably didn't make a lot of money. The steps needed to be routinely cleaned. They quoted the minimum charge and as there was a little bit more that could be done than that, they went into one of the rooms. The carpet in the room as a whole was clean, except for the spots. I think they gave us our money's worth. It was the minimum charge and we had a coupon, so it was not a huge investment. They were punctual. They gave us a time range and they actually got there a bit earlier. We did not check with anyone else to compare their price, but I know in the past when we had secured some services through a well-established home store, it was comparable. The home store now does not make arrangements and they just tell us to go somewhere else.

I'm very fussy about a clean house and was ready to rip all the carpet out and put in solid surface flooring. However, since that isn't yet feasible for a family with 2 small children, we needed to give cleaning the carpets a shot. A-Plus did a great job in getting the stains that I hadn't been able to get out with my deluxe spot cleaner (rug doctor wide track) which I purchased a while back in the hope that it would handle the house. It wasn't, and I learned how painful and time consuming it can be to try to clean 2,000 sq ft of carpet by yourself with a non commercial machine. A-Plus was very dilligent in spending adequate time on the coffee and cereal spill stains in the living room. This is ivory carpet and the Rug Dr. had done very little. The most impressive thing was that Paul and his partner worked around us while we had a door company here that day measuring for entry doors. They didn't even flinch and were very professional and accomodating when we needed to get to a certain part of the house. I plan to have them back to do the lower level in the spring. Having good work done is of course most important, but it's sure nice to have sombody who is so personable and actually alerts you when your 3 year old might slip down the we carpet stairs. I feel comfortable recommending Paul and A-Plus.

They lived up to their name. I schedule the cleaning several weeks out with Paul, who gave me an accurate estimate and was patient with the many questions I had about the process, what we needed to do to prepare, etc. Jim and an assistant showed up at the agreed upon time. (We removed all the smaller furniture from the areas to be cleaned, leaving heavy pieces like a queen size bed, media center, etc. in place.) They set things up quickly, routing the hoses that hook up to the cleaning unit in their van through a second-story window (areas to be cleaned were on second and third stories). They took care to ensure that the hoses did not damage the new exterior painting we had just had done. Equal care was taken in routing the hoses to the third floor, padding hose clamps, etc., so that the interior paint and woodwork were not damaged. Before cleaning, Jim had me show him where some residual stains were. He treated these. They went right to work. They put furniture that could not be moved easily up on styrofoam blocks. They finished the job in just under two hours. Jim and his assistant did encounter a problem with our area rug. It was apparently a custom design (there are areas cut out with a different pile inserted into the pattern). The cleaning process was pulling what Jim guessed may have been a chalk used on the back of the rug to mark the areas that were cut-outs. Jim was able to get most of this up. He came back the next day to check on this, bringing another cleaning fluid that removed nearly all traces of the chalk (?). He did offer to take the rug to a special colorist to remove the small faint discolorations. However, it was so faint, we decided to live with it. We were impressed with how professionally and respectfully Jim handled this surprise. The job was finished in about two hours. Jim led me on a walk-through to make sure everything was okay before they left. The rugs look great! The few stained areas look like new! As noted above, he came back the next day so we could decide what to do with the area rug. He held the check until we were satisfied. When its time to get our carpets again, we'll definitely call A Plus!

It went super! Owner Paul answered my inquiry call (no voice mail) and we set up a date and time immediately--about one week out. They were slated to arrive at 730, got here about 745 with a phone call in between saying they were on their way. Paul and his brother-in-law/partner explained the deal while we did a walk-through. I went to work, let them be to do the job. Came home to clean carpet--it's even fluffy now! This is the first time I've had it cleaned since I moved in here, eight years ago. The price was WELL worth it, a bargain if you ask me. I highly recommend Paul and crew. They do commercial, too!

I am extremely pleased with the work provided. They moved all of the furniture, except a computer desk, including a large 3 piece sectional. They did a very thorough job, even cleaning spots and walk areas several times to make the carpet look as good as new. They were prompt and professional and very friendly. I am very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

They were very friendly and professional. The carpets are very clean, and they made sure that everything was back in place. They had cleaned up after themselves too. Other carpet cleaners charge a lot more than them. A Plus Carpet Cleaners did a great job for us.

They were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. It had been some time since the carpets had been cleaned and there were some spills and stains I wasn't sure would come out. A-Plus got EVERYTHING clean. The carpets look great and I will definitely use them again.

Paul was very friendly when he answered the phone and very flexible about appointment dates/times. He and his partner showed up right on time the day of the appointment. He offered to clean the carpet at the top of the stairs -- beyond what I had requested -- for no extra charge, since there was a minimum charge of $100. It was very nice of him to offer that extra service, since I would have paid the $100 anyways. They also cleaned the carpet on the front porch, since that's where they entered the house and the path they used for their equipment. Again, they didn't need to do that either. Overall, I'm very pleased.

They were wonderful. They were responsive, came on time and cleaned everything very well. They got the stains out that have probably been there for two years. Everything was looking wonderful when they left. They did it in a very quick and professional way. He was a very nice guy and I would definitely hire him again. I would recommend him to anybody because he did exactly what he said he was going to do and it turned out great.

Overall very pleased - stains came out and the price was right. Only quibble is they were a little late arriving but they did call and warn me.

Fantastic - I had neglected the carpets for three years since moving in, Paul was very responsive in coming to give an estimate, very personable and clear in letting me know what to expect. This was my first time using a professional cleaner. He worked around my schedule, did a fantastic job, was extremely courteous to my family and offered to follow-up if I saw a need for touchups.
