A-Plus Carpet Cleaning

I contacted them initially to help get a stain out of my carpet. When they got there, I also decided I should have one more area cleaned. They were very accomodating and got the stain out of my carpet and also the extra area cleaned. My carpet looked wonderful. As always, Paul was very friendly and was very diligent about his work. I will continue to use them again and again.

I have used A-Plus Carpet for approximately 3 years, and have found each and every service call to be exceptional. Paul and Jim do a great job, always leaving my carpet (close to 20 years old) better then I had hoped. Last year, my daughters sewer backed up in the basement, and on a very short notice they came and cleaned the mess before any more damage occurred to the carpet. The most recent job was at my mothers carpet, which had not been cleaned in years...again, looks as good as new. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Called and arrange a time to clean the carpet. He told me exactly what would be done for the price. He didn't try to sell me anything extra. I like that. No hidden costs. I was not home when he cleaned. The carpets looked great!

I called for a quick cleaning of a large rug and sofa because of a special event. They were responsive and were great about fitting me in, even though it was clear they were booked for the rest of the week.. They were prompt, professional, personable, speedy and thorough. They even did a special spot cleaning and double cleaning of a stain on the sofa. They were great and I would definitely use them again.

What a great experience! Paul himself (and associate) came to our home ON TIME with a 30 minute lead time phone call and not only did a wonderful job of cleaning 2 sofas, 2 loveseats and an ottoman but also did an 8X10 area rug that was under the furniture FOR FREE! They were very professional, explained all that they would do and what we needed to do as the furniture dried, etc. We have a black labrador and they not only worked with us to make sure he didn't "escape" as the doors were opened to allow the hoses to come through, but interacted with him to make us all feel comfortable. I would definitely call them again for any upholstery or carpet cleaning and would recommend them to anyone. They met their quoted price - and included the area rug at no extra charge! Should get an A+++!

The experience with A-Plus was fantastic. Both owners worked on our carpets and the results were great. They even took care of some extra-dirty areas. I would definitely call them again.

i contacted them through Angies list, scheduled it all electronically. I had a 10 minute window to come home, let them in and get back to work. They were at my house when I arrived, prompt, thorough and great to work with. Very professional. I will use them again.

Paul was very flexible and set up a time to come out and see the space. He worked with my schedule which was rather hectic by driving from St Paul to Eden Prairie just to give me a quote. This helped as I was able to pay Paul up front and have the service done later in the day while I was at work. Very flexible, friendly and helpful.

I called Paul and he provided a very accurate estimate. He was very professional on the phone, walking me through the process, how to prep the carpet & what to expect after the cleaning. When I called back to book him, he was able to fit me in within a week. The day of the cleaning he called on his way to tell me his status and that he would be arriving in 15 min or so. Paul goes to every job himself, with his business partner and their truck. They were both very friendly, came in and got straight to work. We walked through the rooms and pointed out some areas of concern. They took accurate measurements for the final bill and brought in their supplies. The actual cleaning took less than an hour and a half. Their products have a nice citrus smell to them, so there are no chemical odors. The carpets dried in a bout 24 hours and Paul recommended we vacuum again to get up any pet hair left behind. There was virtually nothing left in the carpet and they look beautiful. We would definitely use Paul again!

Paul arrived on time, was very thorough, the carpets look great.Get him talking about fishing and he will stay longer.

Mr. Paul and Mr. Jim, the owners, were prompt, efficient and very pleasant. My carpets have not looked this good for a long time.

All went great. They showed up on time and got right to work. They were very pleasant and wanted to make sure I was happy with the quality of work. Price was good. I would use them again.

Talk to Paul a couple of weeks ago to get an idea on what was envolved and his cost. I agreed to have them do the work and set up an appointment for Thursday Aug. 18th at 8:30AM. On the scheduled day Paul called the house to inform me that he was on his way and he arrived a few minutes before 8:30AM. We had removed some of the lighter items but Paul & Jim took care of the heavier items. He put blocks under the furniture and told me when they could be removed. I like the idea of charging by the square foot and they gave me a 20% discount for being an Angie's List member. The owners, Paul & Jim were very friendly and professional. The carpet looks great.

They responded to my inquiry promptly, they were professional and did a great job on the stains that I had, and some were pretty bad. They didn't overpromise me and didn't try to push any add-ons at the time of the cleaning. I would definitely use them again, thanks Angie's List for the info on these guys!

The owner and a helper arrived promptly, gave an estimate based on sq. footage, and began to work. They put blocks or plastic under furniture as we discussed. I think sq. footage is a good way to charge - other times I've had companies charge for 2 rooms, when it was 1 average room. A-Plus does not "nickel and dime you" with add on fees for pet stains or try to sell you more services. I appreciate that! I got a fair price, and they gave a 20% discount for Angie's List members. We had 1 living room, hallway, stairs, and downstairs - about the equivalent of 4 or 5 additional rooms done. My carpets look much better. The owner was friendly, professional, and very personable. They are named A+ for a reason!

It was a reasonable service and a reasonable rate. There was just one small spot that was left afterwards that they could have done better.

Jim and Paul co-own the business and they handled the call, the actual work, and follow-up which was not needed. When they came to do the work the key code did not work and they were VERY UNDERSTANDING and MAKE AN ADDITIONAL trip to complete the work that same night. I'm so appreciative of the quality of the work and them working to get it done before the movers arrived. I highly recommend them! I live in the DC area and part time in MN so I depend on Angie's List for my out of town services. A-Plus was friendly and professional over the phone and when I confirmed right before our trip to MN. They showed up on time and completed the job efficiently. They did a great job and provided me with some useful tips including the most efficient method for removing dog hair! I have several Native American rugs which they advised me that they could not clean because the colors would run but they did let me know where I could get them cleaned. I definitely recommend them and will use them again. Jana McKeag

The work took about and hour. Paul and his co-worker moved furniture and cleaned under and behind stuff. They replaced the furniture up on foam blocks. They were professional and friendly and they did a great job!

They answered my inquiry promptly by e-mail ( I first contacted them directly thru Angie's List) After the initial contact all calls were made by phone. We scheduled a time to my conveniance within a few days. It was a very rainy stormy day but they came right away in the morning and completed the work promptly and effieciently. The cost was less than quoted over the phone as the area wasn't quite as big as they pictured. This is a two man operation with the owner on site very anxious to please. Both were extremely friendly but did a very professional job. They did not try to sell other services as a very well known company whom I've also used does. I would recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

We had all of our carpets cleaned--downstairs, upstairs, and the actual staircase. Our carpet is old, but we haven't replaced it because we have several very messy pets. Paul did a SUPERIOR job cleaning the carpet--it looks the best it has in the four years we've lived here. Stains came out that we thought were there to stay.Even better than the quality of the work, though, was the quality of the service. Paul is prompt, respectful, a hard worker, and great to chat with. We will definitely call him for a follow-up in six months--he'll be our regular cleaner from now on!

I called Paul for an appointment, and he returned my call within the hour. I was able to schedule a time at my convenience for the following week. Paul and his partner showed up promptly, and even called an hour before to give me a more specific time frame. They measured the area -- my basement and stairs -- and the actual cost was in line with the phone estimate. They did a great job, were very courteous, and personable. The even offered to clean the area rugs in my kitchen at no charge. I would definitely use the company again, and can highly recommend them. Good people:^)
