A-Plus Carpet Cleaning

A-Plus is super-responsive and very professional. I left a message and got a call back within 5 minutes. We scheduled the visit and they showed up precisely on time. They didn't end up doing any work—and recommended a DIY method that was easy and saved us $150 at their expense—we would have paid for the work. You don't run into that kind of integrity every day. They've done cleaning for us before and if there is a better owner/operated business out there I haven't run across it.

This is the third year we have had Paul and Jim clean our carpets, and they were as punctual, friendly, and professional as always. They ask questions to make sure they are handling furniture properly, and they are careful to warn us about slippery floors and the time frame for the carpet being completely dry.

Our appointment was scheduled promptly and the service team arrived on time. All of the carpets in our home were cleaned with courtesy and professionalism. He was a nice man! We will be sure to call A-Plus when we need our carpets cleaned again.

The service was really good. What I like about them is they give a free estimate.They show up on time to do the work and very detailed. The most important thing is the work they did is beautiful.

Paul and Jim arrived right on time. Paul drove by the house a few minutes early, then called me to make sure that we didn't need to get any cars out of the garage before they parked in our driveway (rare consideration!) Paul arrived first and introduced himself and looked at the sofa and the rug to assess and make sure that they would be able to clean both. He deferred to Jim on the rug - said he's the "rug expert" - so when Jim arrived a few minutes later he had him take a look as well to confirm. They were both friendly and very professional. They even rotated the area rug for me before cleaning it! They were all done in about an hour....fast, efficient - GREAT service! I also asked Paul if he could take a quick look while they were here and give me an estimate on how much it would be to clean the carpet in 3 bedrooms, which he did. I will definitely be calling them to take care of that at a later date. I would happily recommend them to anyone!

Service was great! They did a great job and were able to provide the service within one day of my making the request. They were coincidentally doing a job in my neighborhood. They were professional and the price was very reasonable. I am a happy customer.

Wonderful. Paul was incredible. I was on a real time crunch trying to fit several things into the last day at this home. He really came through for me with scheduling. Arrived early as a matter of fact after calling me to inform me he was on his way. He was very thorough and the 10+ year old carpets looked great. He was also very thorough in reaching out to me after first contacting him. I would highly recommend him as he was so professional and kind and did a great job

Actually this is my second time dealing with A-Plus Carpet Cleaning. Just before Christmas 2015, I contacted Jim (based on their reviews here on Angie's List) and asked if they would be willing to issue a gift certificate as a Christmas present for my mom. Jim loved the idea and said he would be more than willing to help with the gift certificate, and promptly issued the gift certificate. My mom loved it and will be using it in a month or two, Based on my interactions with Jim in December, I decided to call him again and get him to clean the carpets at my house. When I called Jim, I left a message and he called me back within a day, even though he was on vacation. I told him that it would be fine to wait until he returned early the next week to get back to me. He promised to call me on Tuesday of the next week and true to his word, he called me right away on Tuesday and offered to come out and clean the carpets on Friday. So from the time I called him, to the time they were here to clean the carpets, it was about a week, and that includes days off for being on vacation. JIm and Paul (owners of the business) showed up right on time Friday morning and explained exactly how and what would be done, and asked if we had any questions. JIm had explained to me on the phone how to prepare for them to clean the carpets (by moving the small stuff and breakable items) and complimented me on have the area cleared out for them when they got here. Jim and Paul moved the larger furniture for us (couch, loveseat) to clean under them and put them on blocks before putting back so that the carpet could dry better. They pre-treated and cleaned the carpets. The process was quick, I think they were done in just over an hour for our large area. The results of the cleaning was great and I love the way my carpets look, and my house smells so clean! JIm and Paul are great guys. They are very personable and very funny. It was almost as if I got a comedy act as they were working. I was laughing the whole time they were here. They also provided a lot of good tips on how to keep the carpets clean and fresh. The fact that the owners of the company were the ones completing the work at my house was impressive. I like that at least one of the owners is at each job that they complete. This shows me that they have pride in their business and work, I will definitely use A-Plus Carpet Cleaners again and would highly recommend Paul and Jim to everyone.

They moved the heaviest furniture, a futon, and propped it and the stationary bicycle up on little Styrofoam squares afterwards to dry. They did a great job on the carpet. They recommended against paying to have my garage sale love seat cleaned because it would cost as much to clean it as to buy a new one, but then they gave me tips on how I could clean it myself. A nice extra: they spot cleaned the upstairs hallway (cat hairballs) for no charge.

Jim and Paul (the two owners do all their own carpet cleaning) promptly arrived the next week and spent four and one half hours cleaning the cushions. I was amazed and pleased at how nice and clean the cushions turned out. I had received other quotes, over the phone, one for more dollars and one for less, but I am glad I chose A-Plus. The owners, Jim and Paul did the work themselves... no surprises. They are competent and caring professionals who have been in the business long enough to know what to do and what not to do to ensure clean and unharmed carpets. They also went over the entire sanctuary floor carpet with their equipment and brightened up the carpet (no charge).That was nice. They worked steadily from start to finish and spent time educating me on what they were doing, why and how long it would take before the cushions would be dry (about 24 hours). They didn't take shortcuts. Every cushion got the needed attention. Super company and great to work with. They also gave me quotes on doing other carpets in the church. I would highly recommend them and will use them again, at church and in my own home.

Showed up right on time and were very professional. Did a terrific job performing all the cleaning services requested and extremely pleased with the quality of their work. Have used them before and certainly will use them again in the future. Highly recommended.

Jim and Paul did a fabulous job cleaning our cream-to-white sculpted berber carpet! We had put off cleaning it a bit longer than we should have. Traffic areas were clearly visible before they did the cleaning, but not afterward! They did an excellent job communicating the schedule too, they were very prompt and professional. Overall, they did a great job. With them doing the cleaning from now on, I won't put off getting my carpets cleaned again. They were a pleasure to have in our home and the work they did was super.

This is the 4th time I have used A Plus Carpet and I have always been satisfied with their work. They returned my call promptly and were able to schedule an apt. within the week. Paul called me the morning of the appointment to tell me when they would be arriving. They are professional, prompt, and do a great job cleaning carpet. They take time to listen to what i need done and follow up with a thorough, careful job!! The carpets looked great after the were clean and they cleaned a front entry rug for free!!! I would definitely use A Plus again and will pass on their names to anyone in need of carpet cleaning services!!! great company!!!

Paul and his partner arrived on time. They were very concerned to not track in anything from outside. They did a very good job and went over all trouble areas more than once. They used a deodorizer that smells great and my carpets dry really quickly. I have used them before and will continue to use them going forward. They are very professional and do a great job.

The cleaning went well. Spot cleaned where necessary. Removed red wine stain. Protected the carpet with styrofoam blocks for the furniture.

Paul was fantastic! He was incredibly responsive, even when I had to reschedule last minute. Funds were tight at the time, so I opted to only have my sofa cleaned. Paul not only did that but cleaned a spot on my chair and well as the traffic area of my rug for no charge. It was so nice of him, and I will definitely use his services again! Prompt, courteous, and did a great job!

They arrived when they said they would, were very friendly and pleasant, and seemed to enjoy doing what they do. The carpet looks great.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish! Paul returned my call for a quote promptly. I could tell over the phone that I wanted them for the job. I did get a couple more quotes, but called them back. The day of the job, Paul called to say that they would be a little early, which was nice. Paul and Jim have a great system. They are both very hard workers and you can tell they want to do a good job. They are professional and very personable. They pre-spotted everything with something that smelled great. They really worked hard at cleaning the areas where our dog sleeps and where my husband sits. They even got down on their hands and knees to scrub the area. I've had another very commonly known cleaning chain clean my carpets before and they weren't half as good as A-Plus! The carpets look great! I almost didn't want to put all the furniture back! The price was very reasonable. I was expecting to pay more. I will definitely use them again and will tell my family and friends to use them, too!

First: Paul was very accommodating when I called for an appointment, meeting the day I asked for. Very nice. Then, he called on the scheduled day to update me on his time of arrival. He and Jim arrived right on time. They are the kind of people you trust right away. Paul checked out the areas needing cleaning while Jim set up. Paul gave me a more than fair price, and he and Jim went to work. Paul was very open that an area on the living room carpet would not come completely clean -- I was disappointed, but not surprised. As I have before in working with Paul, I really appreciate the candor. Unasked, they even cleaned the ratty old rug in my entry way which now looks new! An unexpected but lovely bonus. I will call Paul and Jim again and can recommend A Plus Carpet Cleaners unequivocally.

Paul responded quickly to my quote request. We scheduled a date and he arrived right on time and got to work. He was very neat, using wall corner protectors which I had never seen before, and worked hard to try to clean carpets that erre past help. He was honest about that aspect. He did wonders for the large family room carpet which cleaned up very well. I enjoyed talking wit Paul while he worked. He did a thorough job and I would use him again.

I honestly can't say enough about the spectacular service A-Plus provided. Like many in the area, our basement flooded last summer. Our abatement guy was able to save the carpet, but it took almost a year to get the new sump pumps installed before we could lay the carpet back down and clean it. As a result, there was staining around the edges of walls that I never thought would come clean, and the furniture - which had been stuffed into our utility room and mouse-ridden basement closet spaces - was in rough shape. Paul and Jim were very clear about the challenges up front and talked to me at length about what might work, what we might have to tackle a second time, etc. I was prepared for the worst. I'm still in shock, but everything is absolutely beautiful. The carpet and furniture are 100% clean - no staining - and they smell great. We actually get our basement back! And in addition to the great service, Paul and Jim are a joy to have in your house - - funny, personable, and honest, they greet you with a bottle of spot remover (which, by the way, works GREAT - have already tried it on dog spots in the rest of the house) and useful advice. This was a huge job, but we'll absolutely have them back for smaller maintenance jobs in the future. I can't thank them - or recommend them - highly enough.
