They did the install in March (I forgot they were coming but they were able to get in and get started-oops). The install went very well, fitment and workmanship was excellent and the guys were true craftsmen, cleaning up after all was done each night before they left. Windows look and work great and they were even able to closely match our existing stain. We highly recommend Allen and his crew!

I had an outstanding experience with this company from beginning to end of the project. Within a day or so of contacting them, Kevin DeWall came out to do the initial inspection, to take needed measurements as it was a foregone conclusion that the window I currently lived with needed to be replaced. There was evidence that it might not have been installed properly, but that company had long since gone out of business. When Kevin came back with the picture and literature regarding the proposed new window and a detailed invoice of work and materials needed, I took a couple of days to figure out just what I wanted to go with, and decided that the proposed window was what we would proceed with. The order was placed with the manufacturer they used and as the date approached that the window would be shipped, Kevin and Lindsay, who works in their office, kept me in the know as to progress. The window was then installed on March 20th. The crew, headed up by Matt, arrived at 8 a.m., and after some discussion of scaffolding needed, they left for a short while to pick up needed work items. Upon their return, they got to work and did a great job of removing the old window and then, doing the prep for the replacement Window, which included work both inside and outside. While it was thought that they might need to return the next morning, that proved unneccesary, as they finished up and cleaned up before 6 pm. Other than doing outstanding work, they kept me informed, and were willing to work out how I could meet the financial part of the operation. Phone calls and emails were always answered promptly. They were a pleasure to work with.

It went great from the estimate to the installation. We ordered the windows late in the fall and the installation was scheduled for mid December. We had extremely cold weather and we had to reschedule. They sent someone out to install the window treatments we had removed for the installation. They were very flexible in rescheduling the windows installation and we finished the work in January.. They have several window suppliers so you can select the type of window you want.

It was a pleasure working with Allen and his crew. Up-front and honest quote. Was able to provide all the the options that I wanted. Installation went a little longer than planned, but that was due to some wood rot that was discovered in the frame and subfloor. They repaired that issue, and got the doors installed and completed on the outside, leaving only the inside trim that they completed a few business days later. The installers were very respectful of our home. Always took their shoes off when entering parts of the home that didn't have poly laid down. The quality of work was good, and we are very happy with our new doors. They are already making a difference in energy savings! Thanks Allen, Casey, and crew.

We had a window pane shatter (no idea why or how!). They came in and took and look and even taped up the pane. Then ordered replacement pane and installed. Are now using them again for the same issue with another window (weird!). Glad we found them on Angie's List!

My windows and patio doors look fantastic, the price was very reasonable and the installation was done in a timely manner. They even managed to do the install on the coldest days of the season so far, and everything was completed on time. A very friendly, professional group to work with, I would highly recommend them.

We are very pleased with the new set of energy efficient windows we ordered through A Pane in the Glass. Installation was well organized and fast. The installers were knowledgeable and thorough, making sure the product was high quality. The entire team was on time with scheduling and responsive via telephone or email. Highly recommended!

They showed up on the day they said they would start , which was a Tuesday and they worked continuous for 3 days until the requested work was done. They covered the carpet and floors, and always vacuumed up after they were done working in a room. The 2 installers were very friendly, and answered all my questions. The finish work on the wood window trim looks professional. The Heartland windows ( Brand Name) have very good weather stripping and open and close smoothly. The double hung windows both tilt in for cleaning both sides of glass, from inside of house. They did a great job and look very nice. Outside area was also cleaned up very well, before they left the property.

The windows are gorgeous. The improvement in look from the street of my building is huge. The curb appeal is much greater now due to the framing they put on the window sills. The windows work, and the noise from the neighborhood is reduced, and drafts are a thing of the past. My tenants are happy with them. I think we added double the value of the investment in these windows to my property. Refinancing will be much easier. Getting good tenants...same story. The crew was quick, efficient, and nice. They arrived on time and all work was done in a professional manner. Their work was outstanding. There is nothing that I can complain about. I would highly recommend them. If the need arises we will most certainly hire them again

We were very happy with A Pane in the Glass—from beginning to end. Kevin responded timely to phone calls, stayed in touch, and the installers were professional. Our window looks perfect! Throughout the entire project we didn’t have to worry about one thing because they took care of everything. It was great!

This was a big expense for me. I just bought my townhouse and it was in real need for new windows and patio doors. I shopped around and there service was excellent. Allen the owner accomadated ever need and question that I had. The young men that installed everything were very polite and answered any questions that I had. I have 4 more windows to replaced and will use them in the future for those. The quality if the windows and sliders are excellent.

Every thing went well from the start to finish. Friendly, efficient stress people and installers. Very satisfied. Also did a window at daughter’s home before ours. All Good.

EXCELLENT. Upon inspection, they discovered the same issue we did. They stayed as long as it took to understand the issue and, ostensibly, were only there to offer an estimate. However, they actually fixed the issue and we never needed the estimate. I would highly highly recommend Pane in the Glass. Great problem solving. Professional. Informative. Courteous.

Their carpentry work in excellent. They did excellent and pretty work. They did a great job and were reasonably priced.

Salesman was competent and gave me several options to match these windows to windows that were installed earlier by a different contractor (and different manufacturer that has since gone out of business - Peachtree). Crew was very good and workmanship was fine. The only concern and dropping of grade for professionalism I that I asked one of the crew when they arrived at the house if a building permit had been obtained and if I could see a copy of it. This crew member said he couldn't see a reason why the permit wouldn't have been pulled but he didn't have a paper copy of it to post at the job site as my city requires. I had discussed this with the salesman initially at the time the contract was signed for the work and he told me that the permit would be pulled and I would pay for this separately at the time of installation as he didn't know how much my city charged so this fee would not be part of the bid/contract amount. On the day the windows were installed and I had a final run through with the foreman before paying the remaining balance (we had put down 50% with the remainder due at installation), I asked again if a permit had been pulled and how much I owed for the permit fee. The foreman wasn't too concerned that apparently a building permit had not been pulled and said "all the city does is come in and see if you have enough smoke detectors so I shouldn't worry about it". I know this is not true as other inspections by my city have been quite detailed. I still don't know if a permit has been pulled. but I wasn't charged for one so I am going to assume that it was not done. I addition, these windows have a "lifetime guarantee" and the foreman told us that we would get the manufacturer's warranty paperwork within several days. It has now been over a month and no paperwork has been received. In spite of the good salesman and installation crew, I can't recommend this contractor due to their rather cavalier attitude toward following building rules set out by my city and the fact that they never provided any written confirmation of warranty of materials as promised.

The process was very smooth. Everyone we worked with was very responsive, which was refreshing since many of the other companies I called did not want to bother with only replacing one window. The quote came back only a couple of hours after we met on a Friday afternoon. The price was reasonable and their timeline was shorter than the competitors I received quotes from. There was a minor mix up in the window that came (to be clear, a packing error by the window company and not A Pane in the Glass), but they were able to locate my window and get a new maintenance window scheduled very quickly. Adam and the rest of the crew installing the window were great to work with and kept me informed throughout the process. I'd highly recommend this company.
