The appointment went smoothly from start to finish.

We called for an estimate and they were able to come within a few days. Their quote was fair and they ended up charging a bit less than that. The gentleman who installed the vents was punctual and professional and the work was done quickly. I would recommend them and would use them for any future projects.

I would use them again. They did what they said they were going to do. The price was fair. The people who came out to do the work were knowledgeable and friendly.

They were available fairly quickly. They were running a special on a 20 point inspection for $80 (which was something like 50% off at the time) and I had an issue with my system so I asked if they would just do the 20 point inspection instead - because fixing the problem would be $10 more. They agreed. They came out and couldn't find anything wrong with the system. It ran fine for about 3 weeks. 3 weeks later they came out for an issue and fixed the issue. I was quite disappointed to learn that I had to pay another $90 for the visit. I would have thought they would give me at least a slight discount since they were just out.

I bought an Angie's list coupon to have my furnace checked in Nov. I had bought a foreclosed house and thought this was a good idea. It was not - at least not initially. All last year the furnace had run perfectly. The Ductworks technician proudly told me he'd adjusted the furnace to run more efficiently. It didn't run the same. Last year I was able to turn the furnace down to 62 degrees when I left for the weekend or when I wasn't home during the day. After the service I couldn't turn it down at all. It stayed at a constant 66 degrees regardless of how low I set the thermostat. I called them numerous times and they always came and checked it -at no charge. They're super polite and responsive but the technician said my ducts were too small - "my three zone heat is spilling off from other zones". That didn't explain why it worked great all last year before they adjusted it to "run more efficiently". Then they said maybe it was my thermostat. I had them put in a programmable thermostat in Jan. That didn't fix the problem either. I waited to see if my more efficient furnace dropped my heat bills - nope. Scott, the owner, won't settle for a dissatisfied customer and personally came out to the house with the technician himself. He went over everything, adjusted the dampers and for the first time in months the heat dropped. It's a rare thing these days when the owner cares that much about making sure the customer is happy. Call Ductworks - they'll make sure you're taken care of.

The work was done in a timely and professional manner.

I emailed the Ductworks the night before inquiring about whether the $78 furnace tune up special covered indentifying the reason why the furnace in our new home was not working. I spoke with Alexis the next day and she explained that there may be more for labor and parts. Scott showed up on time. He identified the reason behind the furnace not working is that someone had turned off the gas line in the garage. (I'm new to home ownership as I''ve only lived in condos previously.) He said the furnace did not need a tune up so he did not perform one. He charged the full $78 anyway. I spoke with Alexis she said it could have been $89 for a "diagnostic". I'm would have been happen to pay for the Scott's time. I'm not sure the full amount should have been charged for turning the gas lever in the garge on.

They did a good job. He checked the furnace and the air conditioner. We purchased it through an Angie's List Big Deal. They were here in a timely fashion. They were very courteous.

It turned out just fine. They came on time and completed the work relatively quickly. It was exactly what I was expecting.

It was great. The tech was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He gave me some ideas that I might do to do make my furnace work better. I am very pleased with him.

They did a good job. They were punctual and very efficient in their work. They cleaned up well when they left which some contractors haven't done. The only reservation is that they installed to many ducts and we would have been more careful about that with the insulation. We have five registers and I have to keep all of them closed so it does not get too hot in here.

My furnace was red-tagged by Ctr Pt on Mon evening the 17th. I needed a furnace quickly. Scott came out as soon as possible. He offered a name brand with 95% efficiency with a nice price due to a coupon. The earliest they could come out was Wed . He said he had to shuffle some jobs to be able to come out Wed, which I was very grateful. The 1st guy showed up about 8:30, he disconnected the old furnace. The 2nd guy showed up about 9. The guy with the furnace was there about 9:30. When he showed up they took the old furnace up and brought the new one down and the 1st guy left and the other 2 put in the new furnace. They had to put in an intake air vent and put on new drain hoses. They were done by 1:30.

I purchased a Big Deal from angies list for a 54% off a 20 point Furnace Tune up for DuctWorks Heating and Air conditioning. I reviewed DuctWorks' web page and discovered that they install heating and air conditioning systems as well as testing for Radon gas. I made an appointment for a furnace tune-up as well as a radon gas test and for an estimate to install supply and return duct lines and to install an HRV in my basement. The furnace tune up was well done. The technician was thorough and knowlegable. I am satisfied with the furnace tune-up. I would hire them again but only for a furnace tune-up. I am not impressed with the other items. The technician did not bring the Radon gas tester so that wasn't done. Also the technician didn't seem prepared to give me an estimate of the work that I needed done. I received the work estimate a few days later. The estimate was not itemized to what I had expected. It listed only two lines, one for the HRV installation and the other line for the rest of the work to supply all the rooms. Estimates that I had received from other companies were itemized line by line for each room. Much easier to understand. The lack of clarity of the estimate is why I did not consider DuctWorks for the job.

I spent $10000 on the job. I really liked working with them and I would work with them again. They told me what it would cost and it was exactly what it cost. They worked when they said they were going to. They finished it in a timely manner.

I needed an emergency furnace repair but did not receive a call back after they said they call back. On Saturday, Dec. 11th, my elderly Grandmother and wheelchair-bound Mother called because their furnace had gone out. I began calling heating companies at 10:30 am and left a voicemail with Ductworks. Jen, from Ductworks, returned my call within an hour or so. I explained our situation and the urgency of getting their furnace going right away because it was our first big storm of the year and neither of them were physically capable of getting out of the home. She said she would see who they had available and give me a call back. I did not receive a call back from Jen until THE NEXT DAY around noon! I was very disappointed in their responsiveness and lack of sense of urgency to leave me and my family hanging around without heat. Fortunately, I found someone a few hours after not hearing from Jen, and he was able to come out and fix the furnace within a half hour!!!

Vince was professional and patiently explained what was wrong; what was easily fixed and what would be costly. I contacted 3 companies for quotes, one being with Steve at MN Ductworks. I decided to go with Ductworks and also scheduled a duct cleaning. They installed both the furnace and A/C on Tuesday and performed the duct cleaning on Thursday. They were all prompt, courthouse and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Well presented proposal. Competitive price. Installation was flawless. Crew of two started on time. Knew what they were doing and got it done efficiently. Cleaned up their work leaving nothing behind. The crew leader reviewed what they had done, showed me what I needed to know, filled out rebate forms for me and even gave me a stamped envelope. A week later, they sent me a Thank You note. FIRST CLASS OPERATION.

On 10/27/2010, Vince came out to clean the furnace. Called when he was running late which was good. He worked so h****** the cleaning, but ultimately found the furnace was not burning correctly. It was a dangerous situation. Scott, owner, came THAT evening to discuss furnace types, etc. He set us up for the earliest available appointment (11/08/2010 due to a full schedule) and we took the necessary precautions to be as safe as possible. The day of installation, Rhod and Nick appeared. They were curteous, professional, and ASKED when there was any kind of a question of how I wanted something rather than just doing whatever they felt. They paid special attention to tracking in dirt and cleaned up after themselves. I must add that I spoke to Alexis in the office several times and Jen a bit. Both helped me out with whatever I needed. This business truly works as a team to provide SERVICE. Total cost was $4,422, but there are some rebates in the works so the actual price is lower.

Vince arrived early for the appointment, was very polite in answering all my questions and, unlike the company I used last year, seemed to do a very thorough job, explained to me what he had done, and went through his written report with me. We talked about the age and condition of my existing central air and furnace but there was no "hard sell" to upgrade. Vince provided me with the information to call if I had questions which could be better answered by the owner of the company.

He was on time (early actually) and professional. He gave us a detailed description of the condition of our furnace after cleaning it. This was one of Angie's List's "Big Deals," so it was very well priced.

We received 50% off the original price as a Angie's member. We received this offer from Angie's Big Deal. The service man was early and we were home. He was careful and cleaned up before he left. Very efficient and explained what he did and if there were any problems, which there weren't.

The gentleman who came out didn't seem very helpful with suggestions. He was negative when I had a conversation with him and had no comments about the furnace. Overall, the service was just okay.

Overall we were very pleased with the work. We bought a half-price coupon for an A/C tune-up through Angie's List, but felt like we got full price (or more) value. The technician was punctual and stayed for over an hour, doing what he could to squeeze a bit more life out of an old, inefficient system. He even installed some rubber tubing in the basement to assist with the drainage of the unit. On top of everything, they were very understanding when I had to reschedule our original appointment because we unexpectedly had no power for a few hours on that date.

Good work, punctual, professional, final price was as estimated in the appointment call. Would recommend.
