This project went very well. During the furnace inspection, the service guy was very patient and helped me see the cracks in the heat exchanger. He very kindly informed me of the bad news, since there was basically no way to avoid replacing the furnace. It was only a day or two wait for meeting with Sales. They were very diligent, respectful and helpful about discussing the options, answering my questions. The install went very smoothly. My old furnace was very very old, and extremely heavy. The new one is probably 1/2 the size!

It appeared that he tested the A/C unit, a very old Carrier that had not been serviced in over 20 yrs. Mice had built a nest in the unit and chewed some internal wiring so I cleaned out the nest and he replaced the wiring. He said it did not need refrigerant. The unit worked well before he came over and still works well. He presented me with a document with some measurements written on it but I don't recall seeing a 20 point list as I expected. No matter I was pleased with the outcome and would recommend this company if you need an A/C inspection. He spent about an hour to an hour and a half with the unit.

I would like to give Ductworks an all A review, but there was one minor glitch. I scheduled the appointment about a week or so in advance to fit my schedule for our moving into our newly acquired house. Unfortunately our appointment was lost in the paperwork at some point and our appointment came and went without a word from the company. Here ends the downside. After a few quick phone calls their team quickly realized their error and did a wonderful job working with us to correct the issue. They worked with our schedule and had a technician out at the house the same day. He was considerate and to my untrained knowledge he was thorough. Most importantly to me he gave an honest assessment of our unit but did not give a hard sell on a new unit. I know I'll need to replace my unit in the future and they will certainly be on a short list when I start the shopping process.

Dont expect a quick response from these people we had to email them a few times to get them to respond to us. They also set up an appointment time which they didn't show up for. We had to reschedule because of this and we had to contact them to make follow-up appointment.

The technician wasn't as friendly or informative as I would expect from a service company. He removed my air filter and then said he didn't have any left in his truck for that size. I didn't have any either so that was a little strange. This was just a tune-up so I guess everything was fine but he didn't help me understand everything he did. Not sure if it was a good purchase or a waste of money.

Best value I could find out of 4 detailed bids. Some hiccups but they took care of all of my concerns and issues 100%. We're flexible with my requests for a difficult routing configuration of the exhaust.

UPDATE: Owner of company called to resolve issue. A different tech was dispatched at no cost (after I submitted another service request through my home warranty company, which I'm told is proper procedure). On the second service call, possible causes of the problem were investigated and the leaks were properly repaired.

The tech showed up early and he was fast and efficient. He let me know of his findings. My AC was in great condition It is clean and ready for another summer. A pro active check up is a great thing to have done.

Upon inspection of our old furnace, rust was found on the heat exchange indicating that we had a crack somewhere. Though no crack was visible to the cameras, we decided to play it safe and have a couple of companies come out to give us an estimate on a new furnace. Ductworks was the second company to come out and we decided to go with them. The sales guy (Rhodd) was very informative and extremely non-pushy. It was simply a, "Here's what we sell, here are the specials we have going right now, if you want to buy from us, that's pretty awesome" kind of experience. Since my wife and I both HATE high pressure sales pitches (leading questions, "Do you feel this is the furnace for you?" etc.), we really appreciated this approach. The installers were able to come out a couple of days later and install our furnace. They were extremely courteous and finished a few hours ahead of schedule. They even put up with numerous questions on my end about the whole process with exceeding patience. They made sure to tell us what to expect for the next couple of days (apparently new furnaces smell a bit for a while) and what the inspection would involve. There was a slight hiccup with the inspection in the office. I guess the paperwork was misplaced, but the woman who runs the front office called the city and got the permit number (which I guess is all you need), so all's well that ends well. In all, we were extremely happy with the services provided and will be using ductworks again for any hv/ac needs we may have.

Vince from DuctWorks came to do the check up. He arrived promptly and did a great job. He stayed after the work was done to give us information and answer our questions

DuctWorks called to schedule immediately and was able to schedule an appontment the following day. The technician, Vince, was polite and thorough. He spent about two hours checking and tuning up our two air conditioners, both of which now run smoothly. We were very pleased with DuctWorks' service and prices.

Very accommodating, they ordered a brand of heat recovery ventilation unit that we inquired about that wasn't their usual stock, no hassles. We did have to ask them to come out and balance the system, as the installers weren't able to do that themselves. The culture of the company seems very earnest and honest and helpful. A very good experience. Only minor complaints are that the use of silver caulk on outer ductwork (instead of matching stucco) and the unit spec'd on the initial estimate wasn't an available model.

Our appointment was set-up quickly, the technician was prompt, courteous and professional. He performed the work in the time estimated. He did not attempt to up-sell us on anything. And the pricing seemed very reasonable, with no unexpected hidden costs. We plan to use this company again in the future, when we have heating cooling needs and would recommend them to anyone that asks.

Ductworks is a small family owned business that provided excellent communication and service all the way through our experience. Our A/C went out. We received bids from three different companies. Ductworks was the first to come out. They provided a no non-sense, competitive quote, right fro the start. The other two comanies we had come out wanted to know the price of the other estimated prior to giving us a bid. Ductworks did not even ask if we had any other bids and still provided the best bid. The workers came out 2 days later and were extremely efficient. The house and lawn were cleaner than what it was before they came. I felt like I was working with a neighbor down the street that had an interest in helping another neighbor. I would definately use their services again if needed.

Called them several weeks ago for a service call on the old furnace. Liked the guy who came--quick, friendly, affordable--so when we decided to replace the furnace they were one of the companies we called to get a bid. Ended up getting two total bids: Centerpoint, who was in and out the door in 20 minutes, and DuctWorks, who spent more than two hours in the house measuring every window and door, thoroughly inspecting the furnace, vents, and fireplace, and talking through options in detail. No brainer--the sales guy really inspired confidence. We booked DuctWorks to do the job on March 12. The sales guy said they usually take from about 8 am to 3 pm to do the whole job. On the day of the job, 8:00 came and went with no sign of the crew. Called the office. "Oh, they won't get there until 8:30-9:00." Doorbell rang at 9:15. Not egregiously late, but not what we were told to expect. Guys started arriving and getting to work. Great. Went down to check on things a while later: they had piled a bunch of their dirty tools and copper pipe on top of a table we had draped with a sheet. The one table that might have signaled, "Hey, there's stuff here we're trying to protect" was the place they chose to pile their stuff--and on top of our sheet. Come on, guys. Again, not the biggest deal in the world but disappointing. Around 3:00 we had to leave the house to run some errands. Guys said they'd be done about the time we got home at 4-4:30. When we returned home they were still working--but the one guy who knew anything about the rebate paperwork and/or about how to install & program the thermostat had left for the day. The last guy on site made some phone calls and tinkered until he got the thermostat installed--crooked. It wouldn't start. Turns out somebody had touched wires together when installing the furnace, and blew a fuse. Thankfully, there is a hardware store literally across the street from our house. He got a new fuse and the thermostat started up fine. He gathered up his stuff and left our house at 6:15 pm. About 9 that night we turned on the heat (it had been in the 60s all day so no need until then.). Soon the house was filled with smoke and the smell of burning oil. Called the company; sales guy answered right away (must forward to a cell phone after hours). "Oh, that's nothing to worry about," he says. "They should have fired up the furnace right away when they installed it. That's just oil that's burning off the heat exchanger; it'll clear up in about fifteen minutes." One more missed detail--nobody fired up the furnace before they finished the job, nor thought to warn us about the oil smoke. I'm pretty confident in the equipment and the company over all, but the handful of disappointments delineated above definitely detract from what I thought would've been an "A" rating based on initial experiences. Still, "B" isn't too bad. The work crew were all nice guys (though I could've done without the Christian radio wafting up from the basement all day). I'd recommend DuctWorks even with this handful of disappointments.

They seem to have a lot of honesty and integrity. They made an extra effort for us.

We were satisfied with the price but were not satisfied with one of the procedures. I will use them again in the future.

They came to my house to see if the humidifier would fit. Then they came the next day and installed it. They were very nice to work with. They did a very nice job. And I love the air in my house now!

I was very pleased with DuctWorks. They maintained a very clean worksite. They credited me for the cost of the Angie's List coupon (didn't really expect that!). They provided all the documents for the energy rebate. That was very easy! We did have a problem with the install two days later. I called the office, left a message and my call was returned in under 1/2 hour. They told me someone would be out at 11:00 and they were on time. The problem was diagnosed and corrected that day. I really felt like a valued customer to DuctWorks.

Arrived early (a plus) and got right to work. The air in the house feels notably more comfortable!
