The service representative had to be late, but did call to inform me. He worked quickly and had some good practical advice about future service with the furnace. I would use them again.

We have had the humidifier in for a day so evaluating quality is a little hard, but I have no reason to think the quality is anything less than an "A". The technician, Mike Benson, called on his way over, was on time, was very respectful of our home, explained what he was doing. We didn't have a lot of room for the pipe needed in the closet where our furnace is housed, so Mike spent time explaining what the installation would look like, what the consequences for future furnace repair would be, and so forth. He let me know when the water would be turned off and back on. The installation took a little over 2 hours and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Mike also made sure I understood what we had to do for maintenance and how the system worked before he left. I would definitely recommend DuctWork again.

They called to schedule an appointment which was very nice. I had to put them off due to my schedule. Called back, got it scheduled. Rep was a little late, but called to let me know. What was being done was explained and what needed to be done that was addtional charge was also explained. I was also told that I did not need to make the addtional repairs at this time, as the furnance would work fine and there was no safety issue. But since there were there, I decided to have it all done. Took an hour and they put everything back where it belonged.

On the morning, of March 6, the pilot light in my 8-year old gas boiler went out and would not re-light. I contacted Ductworks to take advantage of an Angie's list coupon for savings on their "end of season furnance checklist". In addition, I let the service technician know about the pilot light issue. Upon arrival, the service technician determined that indeed there was an issue and either it was a thermocouple (cheap repair) or a more complex issue (gas valve replacement). After replacing the thermocouple and the pilot light not re-igniting, he went back to the office in Golden Valley, MN and returned within the hour with a replacement gas valve. He replaced the gas valve and re-ignited the pilot light. The service technican was professional, communicated each step of the process, and answered other questions I had. Without hesitation, I would recommend Ductworks and their techicians anytime you need a simple check-up to a complex issue resolved with your furnace/boiler.

The work was fine. He checked things out and everything was great. He was polite and nice.

We were pretty satisfied at the beginning, except the $300 rebate took almost eight or nine months to get. I don't know if that was their fault. We had a lot of red tape before we could get it out of the gas company; I think it was more the gas company than the company that provided the services. I was pretty happy with everything. We got a new unit, it works, and it literally cooled the house down much better than the old one we had. I think they've been in business for awhile and they're reputable. They're punctual and came when they said they were going to come. They were very professional and I just think they did a pretty good job.

He was very prompt and performed the inspections on a timely manner.

They were very friendly and professional. They explained what the problem with the air conditioner was and gave us several options. We went with a replacement of the air conditioner and have been very happy with it.

A very polite young man came to the door and put on his shoe covers and went to work. He not only did the tune up but noticed that our humidifier ran when the furnace was off instead of when the furnace and blower kicked in. He fixed that for us by switching a screw on our sailswitch that we did ourselved improperly when we installed a new humidifier. The problem is now corrected and though I offerred to pay him for helping us fix this he said it was unnecessary. He was very knowlegable and a very good problem solver. He also was socially very appropriately friendly and talked when I talked but he did not overdo it like some. I felt comfortable and safe with him in my home and also felt my furnace tune up was done with excellence.

Everything went great! Arrived on time, explained what would be done and didn't try to over-sell me on any products or services.

Although the service was originally scheduled for the previous day, they called to alert me the tech was still working on an earlier appointment and allowed me to choose when to reschedule. This sort of thing happens when servicing equipment and I was pleased not to be kept waiting. I rate them an "A" on punctuality as provided great customer service in rescheduling. Mke Benson was on time for the rescheduled appt and called before arriving to make sure I was home. Mike is very personalble and answered all my questions. He also took time to find out what I knew about the equipment and displayed a very positive attitude about his work. He obviously likes working for Ductworks. Regardingt the noise coming from the vicinity of the furnace, Mike determined it was a condensor and replicated the sound by testing the device in my presence. He explained that the "slight sound" did not indicated anything at all malfunctioning and was not a hazard. He explained my options if the condensor fails in the future I'm totally satisfied that all is well. Mike also examined related equipment external to the house and gave the system a clean bill of health. My wife and I will be requesting Mike of Ductworks to do all of our AC/Furnace service in the future. Thanks! Bill & Lisa

Mike arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. He installed the humidifier then gave a thorough explanation of how to operate and care for it. He left the workspace neat and clean when he left.

Excellent work - completed quickly and in a professional manner.

Brad did a furnace tune-up on both of our furnaces about a month ago. He was very punctual and professional. He changed the filters and told us about a problem with our control board and igniter. When one of our furnaces stopped working about a month later (on a weekend), we called and were able to speak to someone right away. They had technicians on call, but we were able to wait until Monday morning. Brad came out again first thing on Monday morning and soon had our furnace up and running again. Very highly recommend.

I sent an email request for a service call on a Saturday morning, had a call back within 2 hours, and a technician in the house an hour after that. The technician, Mike, was thorough in that he knew exactly what the problem was (just a dirty filter) but still went through the furnace to make sure there were no other issues and stuck around to make sure the problem was completely resolved before leaving. For an emergency weekend call, the price was incredibly low and the service was excellent.

I had my furnace checked and tuned up. It's been over three years and it should be done annually. Paid an extra 50 dollars to replace the flame sensor, based on the service technicians recommendation. Very happy with the service and professionalism.

They were just fine. They came on time. It was a quick repair. I had purchased a coupon for an air conditioner tune up but there was actually a problem with the unit and they had to repair it. I didn't have any comparison regarding the price. I've not used the air conditioner since they fixed it so I don't know about the quality of the work.

The technician arrived on time and was very polite. It seemed he was very thorough. There were no surprise charges.

The scheduling team was flexible, the installer was knowledgeable. He installed a whole home humidifier and took plenty of time to explain the system to me. Works great. He even solved a heat duct problem for me!

had them in for a furnace tune-up. I knew that the blower was going bad from last year. Technician came and told me the same thing and I hadn't told him I knew That is was going bad. Gave me a better price than I was quoted by another company the year before. Was very happy with the service

We have hot water heat so no floor ducts or vents. Our air conditioner is in the attic and has large flexible tubing to each room. The AC is accessed through a ceiling door in one of the bedrooms. Our ceiling is vaulted and has four large skylights so there is very little space to check out the AC unit and tubes because the space is also filled with insulation. The technician from Duct Works asked if we were having trouble with the AC unit because it wasn't working at the moment. When we said that we were not having trouble, he checked further and found that he had inadvertently shut off a switch. He apologized and continued the inspection. A less honest technician may have tried to sell us a new AC unit or charged extra for a repair not needed. The inspection found everything to be working correctly and the technician gave us some hints about cleaning a metal filter and just general tips on keeping the unit in good repair. We appreciated the technician's honesty and will certainly contact Duct Works when we replace our furnace.
