Came on time and did the work in good time. Was professional and friendly and cleaned up afterwards.

Turns out it was just a loose wire. The tech also checked the AC for any other potential problems.

I found them on Angie's List and used a Big Deal special for the service. It was good and they were friendly. The service was economical and the technician talked to us and did not push anything.

Service technicians were late and explained that what was listed on the Groupon was a mistake and that they would not be performing the work I had paid for (at least thought I had paid for). I explained that the Groupon was an explicit contract and that they would need to fulfill what was offered and paid for, to which they replied I would need to take it up with management. They performed the work poorly and hurriedly. Over the past ten years, I have had our ducts cleaned twice before, so I have some point of reference. In the future I will go back to the other providers I've used, even if I have to wait.

I own a duplex and recently one of the central AC units stopped blowing cold air. I called Ductworks based on the number of positive reviews on Angie's list, and had a very friendly conversation with their head office. I explained my situation and they scheduled a service tech to come take a look. Mike Benson showed up on time (perhaps even a few minutes early), was polite, clean, professional, and friendly. In no time, he diagnosed the issue (the unit needed to be charged) and told me how much I could expect to pay. He finished within 20 minutes, and came in under budget. I thought we would come in at $300+ and he came in a $207 for a final cost. He mentioned the unit didnt need as much freon (sp?) as he had initially thought. He wrapped up the bill payment with an instant invoice sent to my email from his tablet (saves me from having more paper lying around). Further, he mentioned that Ductworks would be very competitive in pricing when the time comes to replace the aging AC unit. No problem. I will give them a call when it happens. Cheers to Ductworks! They are awesome. I recommend highly.

Both our A/C unit and furnace went out. Our A/C unit was very old, however our furnace probably died several years too early due to a crack in the heat exchanger. Jared, the customer consultant, was exceptionally good. He arrived on time, reviewed our house in detail, and clearly explained our options. He also explained why our furnace had a short life - it was extremely oversized for the size of our home. Jared is a fantastic communicator which is always key to working with contractors. The install team arrived a couple days later, after I got a couple more bids, and they did the job as planned. Everything was done efficiently and the home was kept clean. Jenn, at their main office, also followed up to schedule the inspection with the city of Minneapolis to ensure everything was done correctly. The inspector said they did a "good job". This is a good team to work with. The carry great products and the prices are very competitive. I highly recommend them.

Brad Orton was punctual. He was careful to close and lock the porch door behind him so that my very protective dog would not escape after she finished inspecting Brad. Brad surprised me because I did not think that my coupon deal for an AC cleaning and inspection would include the inspection and cleaning of my furnace. In addition, he oiled the motor and replaced the filter. I was happy to pay a little extra to buy the filter from him and have him replace it because I was getting such a good deal on the preseason work. After the inside work, Brad cleaned and inspected the outside unit. All of the work was done in about an hour.

Guy was really nice, on time, printed out the report on his ipad. After watching what he did, not really sure it was worth the price or did any bud just dust the furnace out. So not sure if it was really needed. The description said they would tune the blower or something, not sure if that happened, didnt really get a thorough report on what was all needed.

After I purchased this Big Deal from Angie's List, they contacted me immediately to set up an appointment. I explained that we wanted to wait until right before it expires to get a furnace inspection prior to the heating season. They were fine with that and said to just call as soon as we waned to set up an appointment.

He checked the compressor. He checked the freon level and he checked one of the inside vents for air temp.

Everything went very smoothly. I had previously requested an estimate for a furnace/ AC installation and Jared came to our house to do the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and professional and gave me a much better understanding of the different furnace and AC options. Unfortunately, budget limitations made it impossible to replace the furnace and AC this year, but we decided to go ahead and take advantage of their Big Deal offer for a whole house humidifier, since dryness is a big issue in the winter. I called and made the appointment; on the designated day Brad the installer both called and emailed to advise us that he was on the way. I was not present during the installation, but my parents were and they were impressed. They said he was polite, punctual, had all his tools in order, didn't make a mess and left everything neat. His instructions and explanations on operation and maintenance of the humidifier were clear. He finished earlier than the estimated time and left a satisfied customer. I was also happy that the price paid for the Big Deal was the whole price - no hidden or extra charges. Overall a great experience!

The service rep was very thorough in performing quality work, and in explaining how to properly use the humidifier. He notified me in advance to adjust our appointment time, but the work went smoothly and under the expected installation time anyway. We have been completely satisfied with the results nearly half a year later and would use DuctWorks for service in the future.

My first encounter with Ductworks was over the phone to scedule an Angies List appointment. The lady who answered was incredibly friendly, polite and accommodating (I am sorry I don't have the wonderful lady's name to speak highly of). I also highly recommend Mike Benson, the technician that came to our house. He was prompt (a few minutes early), professional, knowledgeable, personable and HONEST. I had actually forgotten about the appointment (work nights and just got home) so I didn't have my dogs put away or the kids contained, but it wasn't a problem, Mike rolled with it and was friendly and warm to all! I stayed with him during the inspection (so I could learn about my system) and he was excellent at explaining what he was doing, why he was doing it and what the benefit/concern could be for me. He gave me helpful tips about my inside filter system that I was unaware of. He also walked me through my air conditioner outside and what I should do for maintenence and when I should call him back (for general upkeep or what to look for if a problem was to arise). My AC system turned out to be fine and he was completely honest with that, he even showed me everything he was looking at and explained the details. Through talking he also gave me some great honest advice/opinions about thermostat products. I mentioned how cool it would be to have a wifi capable thermostat and he agreed and told me about a cool product (even though they don't sell that product and have one of their own). He recommended a product not from his company over the company he works for. Does it get more honest? Isn't that what we all look for in home service?! He also took some extra time with me to talk about garage heating options. He gave me ideas that I had never even thought of. Bottom line is I actually enjoyed my experience with Mike and Ductworks (not often is home service enjoyable!). I learned alot, I met a trustworthy technician and company, and I know where to go with future endevours (with Ductworks for garage heating and perhaps a different product for thermostat)! I highly recommend Ductworks and especially Mike Benson.

It was a great experience, The service man was friendly and seemed very knowledgable. My air wasn't working that great and I was worried that something might be wrong with the unit requiring repair, but he assured me that all was well and he was right. It worked great all last summer, no issues.

Brad showed up and got right to work - told me what he was going to do. He started in the basement with the furnace/where AC attaches, and cleaned out a tube/pipe that was pretty much filled with debris. He checked out the outside unit, added some refrigerant, oiled it up, tightened up some parts, cleaned it out, checked lots of stuff. My 30 year old unit is running fairly well -- told me the only reason to put in anything new right now would be to get a more efficient unit. I appreciated that! No trying to sell me anything. He explained all he did. Good stuff. I was very pleased to have purchased this tune-up service from DuctWorks / Brad's working on my AC unit.

They came out and told me the sensor was dirty, so all they really had to do was clean this off for me and do the point inspection. They were professional, used booties when they came in and they were good! I would use them again in the future!

can't tell yet as work not yet performed but trust Angie's list for a good recommendation.

Mike arrived right on time and provided his identification. He was very friendly and explained what he would be doing. The process didn't take very long and he sent a detailed explanation of his findings via email. He also gave a few other tips and recommendations regarding air quality that I found very helpful. I would use Duct Works again!
