Description of Work: Just moved into our house a couple of months ago and when we had our inspection, we were told that the furnace was in desperate need of a tune-up. Got a big deal for $59. The service person was on time and got the job done quickly. The furnace is original from when the house was built in '90 and I was worried that they were going to tell me after doing the tune-up that I would be due for a replacement soon. Was pleasantly surprised when I was told that it was actually in pretty good shape and to just keep it maintained and it should still last for awhile. Furnace kicked on the other night when the temperature dipped down and everything seems to be working good.

Description of Work: My furnace had not had a tune-up for three years so I hired Duct Works Heating and Air Conditioning through Angie's List to perform that service. I was able to schedule an appointment within a few days after I called and the repair person arrived promptly on time the day of the service. My furnace is only a few years old so I was not expecting to find any problems but since it had been three years I thought it should be serviced before the upcoming Minnesota winter arrived. He found everything in order with the exception of a very small gas leak detected by using a blue leak detector spray that bubbles if there is a gas leak. I saw the bottle and he showed me this bubbling gas leak which I had him fix for an additional $15 since I don't like gas leaks no matter how small they are. I was very happy with the service and I would use this company again in the future.

Description of Work: I have a contract for American Home Warranty service for almost three years and if anything mechanical in the house needs attention, I call them up and they send me a contractor. Well, one of my furances stopped heating yesterday and I suspected it was an igniter and Scott came out within 24 hours and diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and got it working right away. He definitely knows his business and replaced the igniter within minutes and I now have heat again! Highly knowledgeable and personable and I would absolutely hire the firm again. I am a good judge of character and I can sense he is a straight shooter and is a reputable contractor. it was a small job, but it turned out perfectly and he got it done the first time. I would hire them with confidence.

When I asked for them to prepare a detailed invoice for the benefit of prospective Buyers, they quickly complied.
