Terrible experience. At first everyone was very nice and great to work with, however after they did the full roof replacement to fix leaking in certain areas there was still leaking and seal issues in those same areas. Peter with Evergreen Co. came out three times to look at the issues and determined each time that it was not the roof and referred us to a stucco company they work with. We got a quote from the stucco company for $5k in repairs which stated the roof flashing we just had installed would need to be redone and there were seal issues on the roof. Finally the owner of Evergreen came out and had two gentlemen caulk parts of the roof that were leaking and promised they would cover the cost of the plaster repair that was damaged after our roof was “fixed”, I followed up with him twice and he never followed through on the fix. Incredibly frustrating as it seems we never had to replace the roof in the first place and after it was fixed they were unresponsive and irresponsible.

Really bad, Roof was not done properly, his crew damages my deck, half of the work is still pending.

We had damage from the June 11th storm and Evergreen Construction completed the job as quickly as possible. They even did my shed roof and siding. Dealing with the insurance company was not fun, but at least we were able to get our work done thanks to Evergreen!

It was so easy. I was dreading having the work done for months and Joe made it really easy. We will be calling Evergreen when we are ready for the entire roof and I would recommend them to any friends or family.

Initially, our insurance company said we had no damage from the hail storm. Evergreen was instrumental in convincing our insurance company to do a re-check and ultimately agree to paying for a new roof (rather than a roof repair) as well as other things that indeed were damaged from the hail such as our garage door. Thank you, Evergreen, for your persistence!

Roof was fixed on time and in 2 days. Nothing was broke, flowers and everything around the house in as it was. It was like they were never here except for the dumpster and shingles. They did a awesome job and I have zero complaints. Great job and a pleasure to deal with, I will use again. A+++

I highly recommend Evergreen Construction. All the repairs went seamlessly and Joe was always available to answer all questions and concerns we had throughout the process. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out.

The work was done promptly and at a competitive price. We have limited driveway space and they accommodated our request for a crew with a rolling dumpster thereby alleviating our need to park in the street for several days. The roof last looks great and we are satisfied with the outcome.

Owner Joe was very responsive and helpful after roof was damaged in hail storm. He helped us pick the right shingles providing options we wouldn't have otherwise considered (class 4 hail resistant) that remained in our budget. New shingles installed in 2 days, crew was friendly - no issues during the install

Everything went great. Joe Hahs was very knowledgable and walked me through the entire process. He came out to house often and always checked up personally with me or had one of his many employees come and check in before, during, and after work was completed. He has a solid crew of workers for each of the different repairs and they did an excellent job. The house looks like new again. In the photo you can see the new roof, painted siding, and garage doors.

This is a well earned overall F. The experience started off well enough. They seemed to be the least slimy roofing vendor trolling the neighborhood after a hailstorm, and the online reviews seemed decent enough. We asked for a bid for the work, which we never received. After going dark for a month they call out of the blue to say they are going to do the roof at the end of the week. By the way, we still didn't have a bid. After looking at the fine print we realized the "agreement" that we had signed authorized them to do work (lesson learned). Ok, they could still redeem themselves. Since the work is done, send us an invoice. Upon our initial ask for an invoice, we were told that we should sign over the claim check from the insurance company, then we would be provided an invoice. We politely declined and asked again for an invoice. Today we get a call from the insurance company saying that Evergreen had contacted them directly to send an "estimate". Really? You must be kidding me. Fortunately our insurance company called us to let us know. Evergreen, I hope you are reading this. HOW HARD CAN THIS BE?? THE MATERIALS WERE PURCHASED!!! THE WORK IS DONE!!! WE DON'T NEED YOU TO TALK TO OUR INSURANCE COMPANY ON OUR BEHALF. GIVE US A FREAKING INVOICE SO WE CAN PAY YOU FOR SERVICES RENDERED AND YOU CAN GET OUT OF OUR LIVES!!!

Joe was very easy to work with and provided great communication. We had some things to work out with insurance and he met with the adjustors multiple times. He was very responsive and answered all of my questions as quickly and thoroughly as possible. The roofers worked very hard to get the roof done in a timely manner. They were very polite and tidy with all the equipment. They cleaned up the yard very well which was important with kids and a dog. I highly recommend Evergreen Construction.

Great -- they helped with the inspection and insurance reporting, made sure all damage was covered, and completed the work in a timely and high quality fashion. Roofing isn't complicated, but dealing with the insurance companies can be -- they simplified the process and were always available and responsive.

We would definitely give Joe H. (owner) and his crews an “A” rating. We used Evergreen for both roof and siding replacement in the fall of 2016. We got his name on referral from my partner at work and felt comfortable after speaking with him. He did well staying in contact with us from day one. While there were a couple of scheduling changes due to weather, he started and completed the project in the expected time frame. The crew that came to complete our roof were extremely hard working men. They were at our house for 13 hours the first day and came right back the next morning to finish. Joe reviewed their work and ensured our property was tidy after the project. We decided to upgrade our siding from vinyl to LP Smartside. Joe talked us through the pros and cons in our decision-making process. The crew on this project was stellar. They were the most meticulous guys you could imagine. The project took about 10-12 days, but I will gladly take that considering the quality of the work. Both Joe and the crew clearly know the “rules” of installing Smartside. Any small details that needed to be addressed were answered promptly by Joe or his crew. After our experience, the neighbors on both sides of us used Joe for their roofs (and possibly siding projects). When it comes to house construction/projects, it’s hard to know who to trust, and believe me, I’m a researcher when it comes to projects of this cost. You can feel confident in Joe’s recommendations, his pricing, his crews, and his ability to follow through. Thanks Joe!

Upon the presale inspection of my home, I was informed that I had CertainTeed New Horizon Shingles and the roof was in need of replacement. I priced out three contractors and their previous clients recommendations and came to the conclusion that Evergreen Construction Company was my only clear choice. From start to finish Evergreen took care of everything, from working with my home insurer to the city home building inspector. Evergreen recommended upgrades that were cost efficient as well as updating the roof to meet current building inspection codes. Evergreen showed up on time, expeditiously ordered the material and installed them. Afterwards, they cleaned the area better than before they started and got a kudos from the home inspector on the installation. This made me, the homeowner, feel as thou I had made the proper choice with Evergreen. Joe Hahs and crew is knowledgeable in the current building codes, extremely professional, easy to work with and the reroofing process went as expected. I strongly recommend using Joe Hahs and Evergreen Construction Company for your roofing and window replacement needs.

Select Evergreen Construction was in our neighborhood providing estimates for homeowners after a storm event happened in the area, that included hail damage to some homes. We had Select Evergreen provide us an estimate of what it would cost to have our storm damaged roofing replaced. Select Evergreen provided guidance in dealing with our property insurance provider, including the steps that we would need to go through in the process. The came to the property to completed the removal and replacement of the entire roofing, along with disposal of remaining materials. They worked with us is choosing a high quality roofing that would be more resistant to hail damage in the future as well. I would recommend their work to prospective customers.

It took several months to work through the entire process (selecting the contractor, working with insurance on the claim value, selecting the right products, etc). Joe from Select and Marc from Premier were very patient and professional. Ultimately we chose Marvin Integrity windows, with fiberglass exterior and custom stained wood interiors. We are very happy with the results. Marc came back out several times to address small issues. The final billing process has dragged on for several months (more of an issue for Select than for us). However, all communication has been friendly and professional. I would consider Select and Premier for additional work in the future.

The ceiling damage appeared within 6-7 days of the install of the new roof. They are telling me that it is not water damage, just the settling of the house. They are saying that I need to contact the contractor who painted the ceiling. They are saying that they will do it, but it was installed back in August. They have not even begun the gutter installation and have not completed the window wrap. I also contracted with them to install siding around dormers of the roof. They left pieces of siding and a lot of nails around, a lot of sharp scraps. They have said that they will compensate me for the $50.00 antenna re-installation when I send in the itemized bill.
