Description of Work: Inspected site of possible wasp nest and determined it was not a nest but just some wasps feeding on decomposing matter. He sprayed to drive wasps away.

Description of Work: Thorough inspection of house to see where mice might be getting in. Found a likely entrance hole from attached garage. Plugged hole and placed poison in basement. Gave a 1 year guarantee. It's been a month, and, so far so good. The mice seem to not be in my house anymore. I was very pleased with the two guys I dealt with.

Description of Work: They answered all of my questions thoroughly and were very easy to work with. They will come back in a few months for follow up but I think their first treatment solved our carpenter ant problem.

Description of Work: Midwest Pest made a repeat visit (standing behind their warranty!) to rid the house of mice! They relocated some traps and re-checked the perimeter locating and sealing 1 more entry hole located. | |They have been consummate professionals (John in particular!! LOVE John!!). Prompt, courteous, and VERY respectful and responsive to my needs to keep the resident dogs SAFE. | |They are and will be my GO TO exterminator (though I hope to not need one again soon). I had them out in 2011 and now back in 2014. I'd say every 3 years shows they know how to do the job! I have referred some friends their direction and will continue to do due to my experiences!

Description of Work: I waited nearly 2weeks for a response to my purchase of their deal to schedule the work. I called and left messages and no response. I finally gave up and asked for a refund.

Description of Work: They came out to check for mice in the house. I had been poisoning and trapping them for most of the winter. The inspector found various areas that mice had used, and put out poison. The areas they were getting in was pointed out. I had known those, and had expected that they would fix those areas for the price. I was told we would get a call in a month to see how things went, but no call. we continued to get and kill mice, but I was able to eventually plug the entries. If I had known they were not going to do anything more than tell me what I mostly knew, I would not have hired them. Mainly, just a poor value. |

Description of Work: We had mice. Larry came over and first of all checked the exterior of our house to see how & where they may be coming in. He filled a few obvious openings and pointed out some further work I would have to do. He then set out some traps (with poison) to take care of the intruders. It took about 2 weeks to finally get the last one, just as he had told me it would take. |One thing I liked about Larry is that he also told me how to get rid of centipedes, which I did and they are a thing of the past now too! |He also came back in the summer to check on my remedial work around the exterior of my house and gave me the OK. All in all a good experience, perhaps a little pricy (and this was an Angie's list deal), but this is our first time dealing with pests so I don't know the going rates. |(Also please note that I am a teacher and don't give out "A"s easily.)

Description of Work: We needed to have an exterminator in a fairly quick time frame due to a house inspection and Midwest Pest was not able to schedule an appointment within those parameters. It took a few days to get in touch with them and by that time we had to get someone else in to do the job.

Description of Work: We hired them to do both carpenter ant elimination and rodent elimination. We had just purchased an older home, and upon moving in, discovered the ants and also evidence of mice. Midwest Pest was very friendly and did a great job staying in contact and getting out there to begin the job as soon as possible. They sprayed for ants both interior and exterior at the initial visit and came back a month later for an exterior follow up. I still see the occasional carpenter ant, but nothing like it was when we first moved in. |As far as the mice, they plugged up any points of entry they could find and placed poison bates around the house. We haven't seen any mice since, and aren't seeing any new droppings. So I have to believe the mice found the bate and the problem is eliminated. I would definitely recommend Midwest Pest. They were really nice to work with.

Description of Work: I gave them a D because I paid for the coupon and entered dates I would like it done and I never heard from them. I had to call them and when I did they couldn't come out for over two weeks. I couldn't wait.
