They charged me around $200 or $300 for the work. Their price was little bit higher than everybody else. They are supposed to be come in the spring to do the second spray. They seem to know what they were doing and the price was fair. Their quality of work was good.

I could tell John knew what he was doing. He was prompt, friendly, and professional. He explained what he was doing, and why. John inspected the entire exterior of my home for rodent entry points. He was extremely thorough, crawling under the deck in 2 feet of snow on the coldest day of the year. He filled all entry points with sealing foam and copper mesh and laid bait throughout the house to eliminate the existing rodent population. Midwest Pest provides a 1 year guarantee. John assured me if we saw signs of rodents within the year, he will come back out for free. Overall I was very impressed with this service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

I was very impressed with Jon from Midwest Pest. Prior to his visit, he returned calls promptly and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. On the day of my appointment, he was exactly on time, and explained what he would be doing and why. He clearly knew what he was doing. In short, he said what he'd do, and did what he said. He was punctual, experienced, professional, and friendly--very refreshing, given the experience we've all had with bad contractors. I would recommend Midwest Pest to anyone.

I trapped a mouse a couple months ago and thought my problems were over but recently noticed more evidence of unwanted visitors. I called Jon and he came to my house the next day. He was able to find the entry point and plug it. He set out traps and bait boxes and explained what to expect over the next few weeks. I haven't caught any mice but have not seen any evidence of any either. I have also had some issues with ants in the past so Jon sprayed around the kitchen. Jon was very professional and respectful but also very personable and friendly. I would definitely call Jon again (hopefully I won't need to) and will recommend him to others. The experience was positive and his service was excellent.

John was very prompt, very friendly, and explained what he thought was the problem. He assured me if we discovered any more mice, they would be out to work on it. Instead of just setting bait traps, he actually walked all around the house, and observed where he thought the problem might be, and sealed various holes in the foundation. I was much happier with the service and the warranty that was given to me. versus Plunkett.

Fantastic job! Very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. Did a review of both inside and outside our house looking for possible areas that mice could get in. Recently bought the house, had mouse traps in the basement, wanted to make sure we would not get mice this winter. Helpful and gave us information on other possible issues besides mice, also checked out garage. Would re-use this company over and over!

I finally broke down and called an expert for my long going mouse problem. Jon came out and inspected the inside and outside of my house and filled up a number of areas that mice could be using to enter the house. He left me glue traps and informational handouts also. He also explained about carpenter ants and I will call him if I have a problem again next summer. The one year guarantee is nice also, so far so good. Thanks

I noticed debris in my basement, and having moved here from Kansas, was afraid it was termites. Luckily not, only carpenter ants! After checking Angies list, I chose MIdwest because of their ratings and location, close to my home. When called, they promptly returned my call, came out when it was convenient to me, and quickly and professionally took care of my issue. I am very happy with the quality of service I received.

After leaving a voicemail message over the weekend (I knew it wasn't business hours, so I wasn't expecting a call back at that time) re: my vole problem and needs, Larry called me back right away Monday morning. After both of us asking each other questions about voles and my specific issue, I scheduled an appointment with Larry for the following Wednesday morning. Larry arrived promptly at 8:00 am Wednesday morning, we walked around my home as Larry explained again what he was going to do in terms of baiting the voles. The appointment didn't take very long at all, Larry was very professional, friendly and personable and he answered all of my questions. A very easy appointment.

Set up an appointment with Jon...he arrived right on schedule and went to work looking over the situation, previous baits another company had left years ago etc. Within 20 minutes he was confident that he had found the entry point, sealed it off..rebaited to make sure we are covered for any "remaining guests". Of course he was just here so can't speak to whether the problem is really solved but what he found sure looked like a big problem. Jon is very professional and honest. When I asked what I owed he had looked up our last visit and said this visit was still covered since it was within one year...I had not expected that since it was a very different issue on the exterior. Unfortunately I have some experience with other companies in this field and by far Midwest Pest did the most detailed exam of the house and his goal was not to sell me a 10 year plan!! They guarantee their work and will gladly come back if necessary. I highly recommend a call to this company if you are having problems with mice etc.

Jon showed up on time and was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We have an older house, so we had some concerns about various spiders, insects and rodents. He gave us good information about things we could do to reduce the problems. Although it's too soon to know how well the product he applied will work for us, he said he would be happy to come back if we were still having problems in a few weeks. We will definitely use his company again.

Jon was extermely knowledgable and helpful. He sprayed both inside and outside the house and we haven't seen any ants in the past few days. He warned us that they may return briefly when new eggs hatch but he has a 90 day guarantee on his work. I will definitely hire him again.

Walked around our property to show where the moles had been. He was very honest and recommended no treatment as all of the activity had been under landscaping rock and very difficult to follow. Said we didn't have much or a problem. We were VERY appreciative of the honesty. No trip charge was made. I would call them back in a heartbeat.

The contractor was extremely professional and performed above and beyond expectations.I was shocked at how his attention to detail was spot on and missed by others in the past. My family and I would certainly be using MidWest Pest Control in the future. Price was fair if not better than most, coupled with outstanding service makes this a no brainer for me.

I had periodic problems with mice in the garage and the house. The frequency was increasing, along with my disgust and panic. A mouse in my crawlspace prompted me to make a call to Midwest Pest. I spoke with Jon, who was fantastic! He gave me some tips, asked great questions. He surely heard my panic and made himself available the very next morning. He came, looked around closely, and found the entrance points. He then closed them (permanently), explaining what he was doing and how I could avoid these problems in the future. All the while, Jon was very professional, friendly, and funny! He's great at what he does, and I haven't seen a mouse since. What great peace of mind!!

I found Midwest Pest on Angie's list. I've called and Jon Hagel, the owner, gave information about service and prices over the phone. A few days later, he came out to our house addressed all pest issues individually and provided me with knowledge of what we needed. Since we live in a wooded area we have problems with spiders and other pests. Jon suggested an initial treatment on the outside of the house to prevent spiders from crawling up and getting in. He also removed a hornet's nest close to our front entrance. We agreed on a maintance plan to make sure pests are controlled before they get inside. The treatments in August and October are $95 each. Compaired to other companies this price for maintenance is on the lower side. Jon was very professional and approchable. It's great to know someone to call if there is a problem with pests.

He arrived on time and was very informative about the process before the appointment. He also sealed some holes where mice have been getting in at no additional charge. Overall very informative and professional. Recommended.

Jon searched the house looking for mouse droppings to find their food source. Next, he located the entry points for the mice and fixed the problem with copper/foam (our air conditioner line/front porch/etc). Next, he set pet/kid friendly baits. He was very professional and knowledgeable, yet funny and great to talk with! It'll be 21 days before the baits do their jobs. Overall, if you've been bothered with a mouse problem, don't wait to call Jon!

I signed up for a year-long with four visits. They spray for different types of bugs throughout the season as they emerge and they will come back if bugs emerge. The person who came out was punctual and professional.

They came out, sprayed, said I might see more when it got warmer and that they would come back if I called them. I saw more, called them and they came out and sprayed again. You know, there's a good reason these guys have such good ratings. They are HONEST, RESPONSIVE, AND VERY NICE to deal with.

I've been using Midwest Pest for about 2 years now and couldn't be happier with their service. I don't do bugs - and bugs in my house is unacceptable which is why I pay for quarterly preventative services. The treat the outside of the house every 4 months and treat the inside of the house in early spring. They're always on time when I need to meet them and are courteous and always remove their boots/shoes without my asking. This summer I've asked for a little bit of an altered treatment to the outside of the house so my garden beds will not be treated so that the beneficial bugs needed for gardening are not driven away - something they are more than happy to accommodate. I'd recommend them to anyone - they're very good.

Great experience overall. He was a little late, which dropped his punctuality score just a touch, but he communicated about it very well, and apologized both on the phone and once he arrived. He has performed the first application of pest removal solution, and will be returning in about a month to perform the remaining application. He was very clean, instantly removed his shoes upon entry to the property, and explained the process very well. Also took plenty of time to discuss remaining issue with me regarding paper wasps and general driveway/garden ants (which he addressed since he was out there anyway). Will use again if needed for any other issues.

I haven't seen an ant in a week. It's wonderful and I'm a satisfied customer. I cannot speak to the long-term pest control, but short term it looks like a winner.
