Jon & his team helped us after we had a major issue with box elder bugs and japenese beetles in our home. They answered questions, did an extra application for no charge. They are punctual and responsive via phone or email.

We had a foreclosed home next to ours which hadn't been lived in for over two years. ?The gopher holes were multiplying faster and faster and started to creep into our yard. ?I called Jon who was extremely professional and said he could be out in a week. ?I told him we were leaving the next day to go out of town for the holiday weekend. ?After a few minutes I had convinced him if we left town our yard would be torn up before we returned. ?He showed up the next morning 8am sharp to assess the situation. ?The bad news was he couldn't do anything for us since it was on a bank owned property even though we were willing to pay for his services. ?He was gracious enough to show my husband his technique on how to deal with the rodents and hence we ended the digging. ?Jon wouldn't take any pay and his advice was priceless. ?Thanks Jon!

They service guy arrived on time, and was friendly and professional. He made quick assessment and estimate, and quickly sprayed and poisoned multiple sites. Good price.

Gentleman called, set appt. Came out and surveyed problem and sprayed nest. Gave suggestions to handle removal and guaranteed for a month.

I purchased a daily deal for Midwest Pest only after calling to talk to them and be sure they could help out without poisons and while they educated me it would be less efficient, they were willing. Scheduling was a breeze and the rep arrived on time. He was professional, friendly, efficient and clearly new his "stuff"!

Our 1-year warranty just expired so I am finally getting to this well-deserved rave review. We moved into our house in a wooded area that had been vacant for the previous year. We knew mice were getting into the basement. Our neighbors told us to get used to a couple mice a year, we lived in the woods after all. NO WAY! After a couple months of trying to fill the cracks ourselves, we called Jon for help. Jon was clear that he would be able to come out and find where the mice were getting in, fill cracks and set traps. He also explained that if there needed to be structure changes, he would not be able to complete the work but could advise us on how to fix it ourselves. Jon came out in the pouring rain (I think it was within a day or 2 of my call) and did a thorough inspection of the house, filled cracks and set traps. He also explained that there was a suspicious area outside behind our air conditioner where some of the metal flashing on the house had rusted and started to disintegrate and suggested we replace it. There was soon a dead mouse in our basement. I called Jon to get it and re-investigate. He came out that day. He looked for more cracks and filled. Again he explained we should look at the flashing. No additional charge since we were under the 1-year warranty. If I recall, he may have even been at our house a 3rd time. Soon after, we removed the questionable flashing that Jon had pointed out. Sure enough, it was exactly where they were getting in. With a small piece of flashing and some rocks, problem solved! We would not have seen it behind the air conditioner or figured out it was the problem without Jon. We have not had any problems since...knock on wood! Jon also took care of another unwanted critter (which shall remain nameless) while he was at our house...free of charge! I would definitely recommend Jon!

They did a great job. Our first interaction with them was in November and they came out again in January. They actually have a guarantee for their service and they follow through.

Jon was a pleasure to work with. He was right on time. Was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do and what to expect for results. I really enjoyed chatting with him!

I have used them in the past and their work is supposed to be guaranteed for 3 years. They are good and I have them back because they take care of the problem. If I need them again I call them.

This is the second time I've used and reviewed Midwest Pest Control. Couldn't be happier. I didn't rate the price this time because I don't know or care how it compares. The first time I bought a "big deal" and used it for mice. This time it was ants. No more ants, simple as that. Had 'em every year, year after year. Not anymore. Same with the mice. John Hagel, the owner, did all the work both times and the guy is just great...personable, on-time and delivers exactly what he promises. If I need pest control again, John's the only guy I'll call.

I have been using them for about 4 months. They came out initially for an ant problem which they took care of right away; I have not noticed any since then.

I am satisfied with their service. I did not continue the contract but I am still receiving bills from them.

He's excellent, and does very good work. He's very trustworthy, prompt and doesn't rip you off. We didn't have a spider after he sprayed!

The man was very informative. We were having a problem with clover mites and he was very upfront about it. He said they were bugs from the grass that came into the house. They are only allowed to spray twelve feet from the house and he said we were still going to have trouble with the mites being in the grass and moving in. He suggested we contact a lawn service to handle the grass to fully get rid of the problem. I appreciated this. They educated us on the different bugs we would see and when. They came back out when we were having problems with mice in the garage. Since we are in the quarterly service they came back at no extra charge. Their price is reasonable.

I started using their services when UI purchased a Big Deal. We were happy with their work and we have signed a contract to continue using them. I have had a couple cases where we needed treatment in between the quarterly scheduled appointments and they quickly responded and handled the problem.

He is incredibly thorough, professional and even mildly entertaining. He identified several potential entry points, set several traps, and provided piece of mind by explaining how mice enter the home and how the problem gets resolved. After two weeks, the problem still hadn't been fully eliminated, so he returned (free of charge) to identify additional entry points. It's been nearly three months with no sign of mice. We previously used him for an ant infestation, with an ant-free house for several years now. I have received nothing but competent, professional and affordable service from Midwest Pest over the years and would highly recommend them to others.

We used an Angie's List big deal and I will use them again in the future.

I bought a big deal for them from Angie’s List for an annual pest control contract which was $240. They seem to really know their business. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are professional.

They do a great job. They contacted right away.Answered my questions we had, wore shoe covers and were very neat in their work. Any follow up treatment if needed in between scheduled service is free.

The guy who came was very personable. I don’t recall his name but he was on time and he answered all my questions. I would rate him high across the board and I would use him again in the future.

They respond quickly and they are punctual when they come out. I was with Orkin for years and it was around $119 and they kept going up in their prices and you always had to be in the home. The number one reason I like this company is that they treat the outside of your home, so you don't have to schedule a time and you don't have to be home. Their reasoning for that is that they had to stop the pests from the outside and this just made sense to me. In the winter is the only time they have to be inside your home.
