Everything went smoothly. Joe responded very quickly to my request and came by when he said he would.

My husband and I purchased an older lake home in November and once spring came so did the bugs. We had Midwest pest out and have seen a reduction in silverfish, spiders and other bugs. We have signed up for bimonthly treatments which will hopefully eliminate the problem.

Went very well. It appears he did a thorough job of sealing up the house and placing bait traps to eliminate mice. Very satisfied with the service.

I had a hornets nest in a board on my house. My technician took a look around my home and garage and found a second hive on my garage that he also removed. He was very nice, professional and also provided some information on carpenter ant removal. I’d hire them again and again.

I'm going to do my best to be as factual as possible, but overall we are extremely dissatisfied and quite frustrated to date with this company. Before I get into the details, I do want to say that the owner is prompt, courtesy and accountable. He and his team just aren't solving the major (and seemingly growing problem) we paid good money to fix. During the initial visit, the owner sealed a few 'end points' in our siding, which he was quite sure would resolve the issue. He told us to wait two weeks and everything should subside. Two weeks and several dead mice later (including a 911 call after mice chewed their way into our oven and caused a fire), the owner came back out to our property. Again, he sealed a few 'end points' in our siding, and again he said he was quite sure the issue was resolved. Two weeks and several dead mice later (including new dead mice beneath our basement couch), he sent another person out to 'closely' inspect things. Again, he sealed a few 'end points' and said we should be all set. At no time during any of these three visits to date did the owner or his colleague do a deep inspection of our basement level to determine where the mice were getting in. In the subsequent weeks, my wife and I spent many hours clearing out basement insulation beneath the stairs and behind our furnace. What we found was quite alarming -- very clear nesting areas that the owner and his team hadn't bothered to investigate. We then called this company to schedule a fourth return visit in less than two months. When we spoke with the owner, he repeated everything he said during the first three visits (and 6-7 phone conversations), which was beyond frustrating. When I complained that his team spent very little time investigating inside the house, his exact quote was -- "I don't mean to sound condescending but I don't care what's happening inside the house." Now, this was in context of staying focused on excluding mice from gaining entry, but you can't just say 'I don't mean to sound condescending' and then be completely condescending to a customer whose problem you've made ZERO progress fixing. The only saving grace, which I do credit them for honoring, is that they returned our full payment after basically quitting on the job and leaving my wife and I to figure it out. If you are having a mice problem, I'd call other vendors first.

Last Thursday, I discovered a hornets nest in a tree in our front yard. With little kids and pets near our yard, I knew we had to have the nest removed/eradicated before someone got stung. I called Midwest that evening to ask whether they can take care of it, their rates and availability. I was surprised that someone answered the phone (it was after business hours). The gentlemen that answered my call took my information and said he'd have a technician call me as soon as possible. Joe, the technician, called me promptly on Friday and reviewed everything with me. Best of all, he was able to come on Monday to take care of the problem. On Monday, he arrived just as promised, took care of the nest and called me (I wasn't home while he was there) to update me. He was very polite, professional and I'm confident he got rid of the problem. Thanks, Midwest Pest.

I called in early on a Sunday to get an idea of pricing and availability for an ant issue. The woman who took the call was rather short with me. She told me she could give my number to a technician who would call whenever they were available to go over pricing and availability. I asked if she had any idea when I could expect to hear from them, "they'll call when they're available". I asked if they even worked weekends or if it wouldn't be until a week day, "they'll call when they're available". A week later and no one ever did call.

I initially paid for an elimination and exclusion for a year warranty. When Midwest Pest came out, he took me through a lot of what I needed to know before any inspection. Since my home is very old, there was too much that he could not repair for me and guarantee the work as the voucher would have done. Instead, we worked out the appropriate services and price for me. Jonathan was great to work with and I'd call again, if needed. He was professional, honest, and helpful. I'm confident that I received the services I was seeking. Now I'm working with Angie's List for the refund on my voucher. I anticipate no issues after talking with Jonathan, however.
