Tim provided an estimate quickly and is working with us on turning the claim in on our home warranty. Pricing seemed fair and the crew doing the job was professional and polite. They worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards.

Technician arrived right on time. Diagnosed the problem. Stayed to make sure that the furnace was continuing to run properly.

Our furnace stopped working late on Christmas Eve. Ditter Cooling and Heating answered their phone at 8:00 am Christmas morning and we were able to get an appointment on Christmas Day between 12-2. The repair person was prompt and professional and we paid a very reasonable price for a holiday repair. We would definitely use them again and greatly appreciated their ability to respond so quickly,

I got home from work, smelled gas, and determined that the furnace was not working properly and temperature in the house was dropping quickly. I called their after hours number and someone was at my house less than one hour after I called. He looked at the furnace, determined what was needed, had the replacement part on his truck and went to work. The furnace was back up and running within 45 minutes of his arriving. Given this was an emergency call, the price paid was very fair. The service person also provided me with information on future needs for the furnace.

The gentleman who did the job was prompt, pleasant and willing to answer any questions. I have used Ditters for many years, and each time I have dealt with them they have been wonderful - including purchase of furnace and air conditioners. I highly recommend them.

Good. The serviceman was late in showing, but after call in to the office, they immediately got in touch with the serviceman and gave me the option of having him still show up (but slightly later) or reschduling. The person was thorough and descriptive of what he was doing and/or looking for and asked if I had any questions.

A furnace inspection before the winter heating season started revealed a cracked heat exchanger, prompting us to get some estimates for a new furnace. Our A/C was equally old (about 27 years old) so we decided to replace that as well. Ditter was towards the cheaper end of the estimates we received and we liked the quality of the products they offered as well as their recommendations on heating/cooling capacity needed. The installation wasn't the most straightforward but it was completed in 2 1/2 days, mostly with one person working by themselves. We've been happy in the two years since the work was done with no issues with the equipment and some pretty substantial savings over what our old furnace and A/C cost.

Of the companies we looked at Ditter and one other company stood out. Ditter was competitive in every way, but in the middle of a heat wave the other company was able to install the a/c a week earlier.

Very well: determined that exchanger was leaking, ordered new unit, replaced and recharged. A/C works great one year later.

They got here when they said they would. I really liked them, we had them put the appliances in, and I would continue using them in the future.

I have been using Ditter for over 20 years. They come twice a year and keep me informed. They service either the furnace, or the air conditioner. It's nice, because we are on a first name basis. I had an issue with the new air conditioner, and they were on the ball! Their communication is really good.

They have done work for me a few times. They do a good job. They charge by the hour, not the problem. They are very responsive. They are very prompt with availability. They work very efficiently to get the job done. He explains everything he is going to do.

Bad experiences, we would not recommend Ditter for repair work. Inexperienced tech sent to diagnose and repair problem. After several attempts and new parts installed, unit still not working properly. This has happened twice with Ditter in past few years, we will not use them again. Total bill this time was almost $1000, and I was able to get a $147 fee adjustment. Still too much time and money to pay for an incomplete repair. I called another company (Angies List Award Winner) to fix the furnace properly.

We've had a very good experience with them and we're very happy with their services; that's why we keep calling them back. We are very happy with the pricing.

It’s a family run business and we have been dealing with the same serviceman for 20 years. They provide excellent service and I can’t say enough about them. They are really good, especially when you need them when there is an emergency. They are very responsive. The last time we used their services was about a year ago, when we remodeled our house and our contractor burnt our air conditioner. Our contractor paid for replacing the air conditioner. He forgot to close the vent when he was spray painting the ceilings in our house. The air conditioner couldn’t cool the house as the dirt went inside the filters. So, he kept trying repeatedly till it got burnt. It was really hot out and so, they came the next morning and replaced it. It took them about 2 hours to get the unit replaced. They drained the old unit, pumped it out, pulled it off the pad, put a new one and hooked it up. They also pressure tested it and got it done quickly. I haven’t compared their prices with any other company and I think that the price they charged was fair and average. They do more of commercial work than residential and that’s why they are well equipped to do the work. They are great and they have a great crew. I will continue to use their services in the future as well.

AC quit working, they were able to schedule me for the next day. Tim came on time, and within minutes of his arrival he found the burned out transformer in the furnace. From there he looked to find the cause, which he found outside in the AC unit, the insulation had been chewed off of a couple of wires allowing them to short out (he fixed those too). Tim was very professional and efficient (kicked off his shoes too). I will be having them do all my heating and AC work in the future.

They beat everybody else in price. They had to get through the foundation and get to the outside and they spent quite a bit of time in that. However they did not charge anything extra for that. They were very good. They knew what they were doing. I am an engineer and I can pretty well understand the way they work. They are very professional. They knew their job and how to go about it.

They did a good job overall. They're reasonably priced. They gave me a pretty good price on a coil replacement.

I would say this went great. This was the first company I picked by Angie's List. They were timely, professional, quality of work for the money invested and responsive. They came back to make adjustments to the units as needed.

Job was booked while too hot to go into the attic so they had plenty of lead time. They initially scheduled the job and then set it back a week. The first workman came and complained that he did not have help. They finished the mechanical installation and never went over the operation with us. The electrician was to come the next week and he has not shown up yet (six weeks later). They were to have another sub-contractor contact us to remove the old A/C unit. We have not heard from him. I called several times and was promised each time the subs would call "next week". Due to delays, they were not able to operate the unit (it must be over 60 outside) and thus we can't get the Xcel rebate until next Spring. I also asked several questions about the operation of the unit and these were never answered. The installation looks good and they were neat in the way they worked while here.

They are excellent. I like the workmen that come, they are way above average.

We had been burned by HVAC guys in the past so this time we did a lot of research before hiring anyone. Ditter repeatedly had good customer references, and they were much more reasonably priced than some of the big guys. Our former HVAC guy, just decided he was moving one day and left us and the job half done. Ditter was nice enough to come in and rescue us. They used the materials the other guy left behind, saving us big $$$. Ditter also showed up when they said they would! The other HVAC guys we used in the past would always say they were coming and then would have an emergency or sickness or were running behind or some other "plausible" reason for not showing up. Ditter was different. They arrived promptly and worked fast, really fast. (again saving me $$$) They cleaned up the work site and even had some custom duct work made to fit within existing soffets. (something the other HVAC guy said was impossible) I can't say enough good things about Ditter.

THE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY RESPECTFUL. HE TOOK OFF HIS SHOES BEFORE ENTERING THE HOUSE. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH WITH THE WORK. HE CHECKED THE VENTS AND REPLACED SOME OLD HOSES. HE TOOK HIS TIME TO MAKE SURE THAT HE CHECKED EVERYTHING. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HE COMPLETED THE WORK. HE ENJOYED HIS JOB. HE ALSO HELPED ANSWER SOME ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT OTHER APPLIANCES.
