He IS good, if there were any problems they were quickly corrected. The Addition looks great.

Our project went much longer than the expected term in the contract and this occurred with minimal changes to the design. We were told the project would take 120 days and it was nearly twice that long. Dean failed to communicate many project deliverables and would not respond with dates of when work would be complete, respond to questions or concerns or even try to offer any level of service that would compensate for what was being done. In the end if felt like we were spending an extreme amount of time managing Dean to get him to manage our project. I would say if you have never hired a contractor before this is not the contractor for you. If you have hired a contractor before, make sure you go through every possible detail and get it IN WRITING

Dean Johnson Homes is about the best experience I've had with a contractor both for commercial and residential jobs. Dean is very knowledgeable and has more experience under his belt than most people in the business. He and his crew are very friendly and super efficient. This is a guy who answers his phone and answers all your questions, no matter how basic. I can't say enough good things... The end result of our remodel looks great! High quality craftsmanship. Dean isn't afraid to get his hands dirty either. Any problems that came up were solved. Our job may have been smaller than the usual jobs he does but he definitely took care of us!

The bid was a little higher than some of the other contractors I have checked with, but Dean had the experience with the structural needs of the project. The quoted time frame was right on track with the completion of the project. Dean and his sub-contractors were always on time. The finished job looked wonderful. I will and have use(d) Dean Johnson Homes for remodeling needs in the future.
