Den's Drywall

Den was quick to respond to our request for a quote, was always on time and beat all other quotes we received. He worked hard but always had a smile during 90+ degree days with no air conditioning in our home. The job was started and finished quicker than we expected! He was respectful of our home and did a super job cleaning up after the work was completed. The end result is a seamless repair job - just perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend Den to anyone, and will surely use him again.

I am getting ready to hire him again. He is fabulous. His prices are so reasonable and he is wonderful with communication. He shows up exactly when he says he will and does exactly what he says he will do. He does high quality work and provides excellent options. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very well - Dennis was very courteous, reliable, and did a great job. He even fixed a leaking pipe under one of the washtubs for no cost.

This is the second time Den has performed work for me. He did a smaller sheetrock job a few months earlier and skim-coated some old plaster walls in a bedroom, hall, and second floor stairwell. The quality of his work is excellent, and Den is a pleasure to work with. When I mentioned an area was a little uneven in his original skim-coating job he happily came back to add another coat to the area, at no additional cost. He wanted the job to match my expectations and it does. His pleasant demeanor and fantastic work ethic are why I chose to use him again for the larger sheetrock job this year.

After calling another contractor (opposite experience), I called Den to quote me on the two closet spaces. Den came almost immediately, and provided (what I thought was) a reasonable quote. When I explained that I had a very short time frame to complete the work, he re-organized his schedule to start immediately. As I was traveling during the work, he provided a lock box and left me voice mail updates on his schedule. When I returned, the work was completed and done well (given the difficulty of the sloped ceiling). I was very impressed with his work ethic and responsiveness.

Dennis was referred to us from a close friend and was fabulous from day one. He provided estimates for three different options to improve our space. When we decided on a date and price for the work, Dennis fulfilled his obligation and exceeded our expectations. As I said in the description, the job was unique, but Dennis pulled it off within our agreed time line and our agreed price. Dennis is the most prompt, efficient and trustworthy contractor that I have worked with. There was one issue that we didn't expect Dennis to make perfect given the structural issues, but Dennis fixed the issue for material cost without labor. As I said, Dennis is a stand up guy and a contractor anyone should be fortunate to hire. My wife and I would highly recommend Dennis to anyone needing drywall work.

He was excellent, he came on time, he stuck to his original estimate, he worked our project into his schedule, he is very nice and does great work, and he is very clean. I wish I could find some one like to him to do other types of work for me.

A friend recommend Dennis for crack repair on my plaster walls. I contacted him and he responded immediately with a phone call, followed by a visit to my home for an estimate. Initially, I was only going to have one room skim coated and have crack patching in the other rooms. I felt he was honest and did not try to sell me on skim coating everything. After he started, I saw the quality of his work, how smooth the skim coated walls looked, and decided to have all of the walls skim coated. He brought a dolly and moved some furniture before starting (the house was "vacant" with some items remaining). He finished all of the work in just one week (worked every day) and the walls look fantastic! Dennis was very professional and friendly, which was a real plus!

It went great and was completed in no time. We had used Den for some previous work in our house and decided to call him for this job. Even when his supplies ran a little higher, he still stuck to his estimate. Other people do not do that. This was very much appreciated. He shows up when he says he is going to and he does a great job and he sticks to his estimate. What more could a person ask for?

Den returned my call quickly, and came to give an estimate. He completed the work in a timely manner and was very clean and professional. Den is pleasant and professional. He completed the work on time and his estimate was accurate.

I contacted 3 separate drywallers and found Den to be the best price. Not only was Den the best price, but he is excellent to work with. I had to reschedule 2 times with Den due to other work I needed to perform before he could get started. Den was very understanding and worked around my schedule. Once Den got started, the work progressed and finished as scheduled. I will definitely hire Den again. He is very professional and one great contractor! He also provided me with techniques and products for applying primer and paint.

I scheduled a meeting with Den to retrofit some ugly painting (red, blue, and black drips flung onto the wall) left by my home's former owner. I was to the point of replacing the drywall entirely. Den arrived and quickly assessed the situation and recommended how to fix the problem without replacing the drywall. I followed his advice (Den has been doing drywall 25 years) and was able to correct the problem in one weekend. I wish I would have called him sooner. will certainly use him for future drywall needs.

Den came over right away to look at the area and give us an estimate. He was able to start right away. He came 4 times, first to install the drywall, then to tape, mud and sand. He also patched up some other areas of the wall that were ragged, for free, even though we hadn't asked him to. He always let me know when he'd be back, and he always showed up when he said he would. If he had to be a bit late, he'd always call. His work was fantastic. He also gave me some painting tips. Den was also very tidy and always cleaned up before he left. And he was great with my dogs!

It went really well. He came over quickly to give us a bid and started within 2 days of his estimate. He charged a very reasonable price, did great work, and got it done quickly! We are already planning on using him for another project.

Dennis was so highly rated, I thought there was no way he could fit our project in. Lucky for us, he could. Our job was a very large one: hallway, large kitchen, walk-in pantry, closets (at least 3), bathroom, 2 bedrooms, (walls and ceilings - the 2 BRs had vaulted ceilings; one with a beam) etc. We called him last Spring (when we broke ground); he came out and gave us an estimate (very reasonable); he kept in touch with us (he called US!) throughout the summer to see where we were at. When we were ready for him to start, he was there on the spot. He worked tirelessly for 3 weeks. When you hire Den's Drywall, you get Dennis (no subs; he does the work himself). We are very pleased with the results. He finished on a Friday and told us to look the job over very well over the weekend for any defects; he stopped back on Monday (we gave him a short list of some areas the needed tweaking a bit - nothing out of the ordinary); he fixed those up to our satisfaction.

He works really hard and his work is impeccable. He is nice guy.

I had just had the attic insulated; Den sheetrocked over the insulation to finish it. There were a lot of sharp angles and aside from one messy corner where a bunch of beams come together, it was a very precise job and the smooth finish turned out well. Den was very pleasant and conscientious and helped come up with creative solutions to minor problems. I appreciated how clean he left the work area.

Den is very thorough and professional, he goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with the work hes done. To that end I will say that we are extremely satisfied with the completed job, will use him again to redo other room ceilings, and highly recommend his services.

Excellent job. Dennis was first rate all the way. Explained procedure in simple terms. Arrived on time, and completed the job as promised. Gave good advice on paint. Plan on hiring again in the fall for our kitchen and dining room ceilings. I highly recommend Dennis.

He did an excellent job! Den's quality of work was unbelievable. He was conscientious and worked everyday on our basement. Each day he'd keep us informed as to his next step so we could get our work done (electrical, etc.) so he could keep moving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

I was extremely happy with the quality and price of the work Den performed! He was able to start a day after he gave the estimate (although he warned he's usually booked solid from May to Dec.). He showed up on time for 4 consecutive days to get the job done. He was polite and friendly. I've already recommended him to three of my friends for work that they are considering. If I ever have any work of this nature again, I plan to use Den.
