LCS Lawn & Tree Service

Service was prompt and good. However when all my impatiens died the day after they sprayed - their response was not so good. Firstly they said they would send someone out. No word. I had to call them to follow up. I was told rather briskly by a young woman it was not their fault. Their reasoning was that there were weeds growing in the flower bed, so their spray must not have touched the flowers. Yes - there were 2 weeds. Could those weeds have perhaps not gotten sprayed? That would make too much sense. There was no apology or concern whatsoever. They said it was a "virus". Yes - they wanted me to believe that the day after they sprayed a rare virus simultaneously attacked our 2 flats worth of impatiens and killed them all. Really?? IN 30 years we have not had this problem. Funny how coincidence could work. They had been a professional group till this point.

They were great. Service was fine. They called ahead of time and they provide good customer service.

It went very well and they are a local business. They are nice, courteous, nicely dressed, and professional. Their trucks are professional looking. They were polite and I would take them over any of the big national companies.

The workers could have been better. I'm not so sure they sprayed where I wanted because I did not see the results. As far as the salesman goes, he was nice, respectable, and responsive. They left weed killer in my driveway. I don't think it was on purpose, and they could have done better with the weed killer off my driveway.

They are always on time for the appointment. I had to have them come back a couple times since I saw weeds and they came back with no issues. They are upfront with their prices and there are no hidden fees.

We will use them again this year. We have contracted with them. There are five applications per season. The treatment is effective. The only reason I would recommend them is they are professionals as oppose to just “technicians” that they hire of the streets. If there’s a problem with the yard or the lawn, I can call and ask for an expert on lawn to look at the problem and deal with it. Many of these companies are just a bunch of young people who have been trained to apply chemicals and they don’t know anything about what they are doing. This company is better than that.

It was suggested by them, and due to the fact that they had done such a great job during the summer I accepted their recommendation.

They arrived on time. They were very professional and left the area cleaned. They were respectful and were careful of other plants. I was very pleased with them.

We have used their service for two years. They do a good job. They show up, do the work and leave the bill in the door. The lawn looks good, green and we have no weeds.

They are a small company but they are reliable. You get personal service. In the past, they had a problem with the weed killer that killed my tree. But they took care of it. Their price has not changed for the last ten years.

We've continued to use their service for monthly service. Our lawn seems to be doing better. Scheduling has been better this season than last.

Very well...very responsive and they really know their stuff!

Very Pleased with the service, the products, and thhe people that applied the products. They always called the day before applications and are very pleasant to deal with.

Service finally responded after about a week.

The first two applications have gone very well - they've been here when they said they'd be, and the lawn looks good. I asked them to come back to re-treat some Creeping Charlie, and they came right away. This has been a positive experience.

They provide a fair price, not too expensive. They do good work for me. I don't have any weeds. They just show up and take care of it for me. They also don't upsell me on services that I don't need, and they aren't pushy about it.

This is an ongoing service. It took a couple weeks longer than expected for the first visit but the spring was very late and wet this year. Our second visit was yesterday and there will be a few more visits. Our lawn looks great but it was in very good shape before we hired LCS. At this point we are satisfied with our decision to use LCS.

We selected LCS Lawn Service based on their excellent reviews on Angie?s List and purchased the five application program with discount for prepayment. We received the first treatment for crabgrass/fertilizer on May 23rd. Within one week, we had multiple fertilizer burn marks on our lawn. LCS reviewed the lawn and agreed that the damage represented fertilizer burn marks. We requested a full refund and received a refund of our prepayment less the cost of the treatment that caused the burn marks on my lawn. We asked LCS if they would repair the damaged lawn. They offered to do so only conditionally on continuing the contract. While we understand mistakes happen, we did not feel comfortable continuing the contract with LCS after the damage. We were disappointed that LCS would not repair the burn marks for which they were responsible. The appearance of the lawn was hurt, and the time and effort required to repair the damage was substantial.

They were good. I paid $800 a year. They did the estimate using Google Maps to see my yard and that was cool.

I've been using LCS for a couple years now. I use their full 7 treatment (or something like that) package. The grass stays green the entire season, and requires minimal watering to stay green, even during the tough summer months. I also use them to aerate and overseed in the fall. LCS employees are all always extremely friendly both in person and on the phone. They will come and re-treat for free in between treatments if you have any issues or problem spots. Overall, a great company and I'd highly recommend any of their services!

I changed services as I was disappointed with the service I received last year from a different service. LCMS was responsive, did a thorough job including moving the garbage bins out of the area. They even reduced my first bill---what a surprise. They did not mention that they would. So far I am pleased with the service.

It went very well. They arrived within a couple days of my phone calls, they left their invoice at the door, and they will come back next month. Within a couple of days of the application I noticed some weeds were beginning to die off.

This provider offers a prepaid lawn weed control and fertilization, and I bought the 5 step program this spring. So far they have been communicative and informative.

So far, so good. The first weed control application is taking effect, and grass is looking good. The company leaves a comment card after visits, to provide information and instructions on anything that we might need to do or be aware of between services.

They were here three weeks ago. The service costs sixty four dollars a time if they come in and put fertilizer and weed killer on my lawn. They do a really nice job, the people that have come out to my house are very nice. Whenever I have had an issue, I can call and talk with them. Actually I am going to call and talk to them to see if they can get their arbors to come out and talk to us about a tree. We did have a problem when they used a product by DuPont which killed one of our trees, this wasn't even their fault. We didn't have nearly as much damage as lots of people. Frankly speaking I did not like the tree, so they did me a favor, they are going to come and take out the tree and DuPont is going to pay for it. They used a product that was sold to them. They have had horrible trouble with that in the past two years. They have been really good about dealing with the issue and everybody that came out have been very helpful and very nice. When I compared prices before they were in the same ball park. Punctuality is not an issue because they always say they will be here tomorrow. I would use them in the future. I have been using them for three years.
