LCS Lawn & Tree Service

They came out once and my lawn looks great! No sign of residual weeds like when I have used other lawn care companies. So far I am very impressed.

LCS has applied two of three applications. So far so good. The trees look great.

Last summer (around July I think) we asked LCS to take care of lawn fertilization, and help get rid of pesky weeds that kept coming back and multiplying despite my best efforts. When I first called LCS our lawn looked ok from a distance, but weeds weren't hard to find if you looked for them, and the lawn lacked a deep beautiful/healthy green color. Around the same time LCS came out we started watering our lawn regularly. By the end of the season our lawn looked fantastic! I signed up for the next summer. We also had LCS trim some trees in the front and back yard. I don't know much about how tree trimming is supposed to be done so I can't speak about the job in that respect. But I can say that the trees look good and I believe LCS did a great job overall. They were very good about communicating when they would be out, they were courteous, respectful, and very personable. One thing that *really* impressed me was how well they cleaned up. They definitely cleared out all the branches and twigs that were a result of tree trimming and THEN some. Our lawn looked spotless by the time they left, and so much better than we they arrived. I was very impressed and really appreciated the extra mile. A week or so later I called to sign up for the lawn service this coming summer, (forgot I had already signed up). As always, someone answered the phone right away. She said I already signed up AND already pre-paid. My bad for forgetting that, but the point is they were honest about it. So far everything has been positive! The results from their lawn care were definitely noticeable, and worthwhile. Also, if/when we need trees trimmed I'll call LCS.

They're great. I have used them for my business in Minneapolis. Their communications is outstanding. Their communication. I don't ever see it, but I get no complaints.

They show up, they do a good job. They communicate the plans for expected snowstorms. I'm always happy with LCS and have recommended them to my parents.

Talking to them they're very friendly. As far as actual snow removal, I think that they had some issues with keeping up with what they were actually doing.

I plan to sign up for it in the spring. They were extremely professional and very responsive. I was pleasantly surprised.

My results were horrible. I saw my lawn actually take turn for the worse. Given how good rain has been this year I was expecting contrary. But I found that in my backyard grass is vanishing and in quite a few places thinning. Quality of lawn has severely deteriorated. I even called them for inspection and their finding was even worse, prediction was that my whole backyard will loose grass pretty soon. I figure why pay them to begin with given the end result. And some places they claim high traffic area which again is farther from the truth and just excuse. I believe they don't have a clue of what they are doing and you are better of not doing anything for fertilizing than to hire them. In addition I am not sure if they really used Natural/Organic per their claim during sign up because they always left with Warning sign of "Chemical treatment" and keep kids away sign. Having said that I would say that they are prompt in their service, they come when they promise and do finish their job. Only if quality were good!

I have used LCS Lawn for my plowing for the last few years. I own a self-storage in Minneapolis, where good plowing is imperative so customers can access their belongings. I have not had a negative comment from any of my customers, which means they are keeping things clean and clear. The price has been reasonable and they are quick to get things cleaned up after a snow. They also keep you updated via email!

My lawn came out in very bad shape by fall. There are lots of spots where grass is dying, quite a few places where it lost their lushness. And few spots where its completely barren. I called their technician and he gave a dire report quoting that your whole backyard is going to loose grass pretty soon. I don't think they know what they are doing and they are only second to doing nothing. Even if you DIY you will be ahead of what they do. Last year my lawn was in great shape, I hired them hoping to get natural fertilizing company in. I wish I didn't. I will give them high marks for visiting and atleast taking a look. They did their job fully never missed a single application. So that way I like them, but effectiveness.. not so much!

I've used a different tree service before and they weren't able to deal with the fungus which basically made the leaves turn yellow and fall on the ground but LCS fixed it I haven't had any fungus since they started working with my tree.

They were very friendly and gave me a quick recap/run down of what they were doing that day, with a few tips for watering after. They were in and out within 15 minutes. Couldn't have went smoother. They were by far the most inexpensive quote I received as well.

The first couple years I used LCS I was very happy with their services. Over the past couple months, things have changed. Here are two examples: I was told by email that my driveway would be plowed between 9pm and 6 or 7 am. Woke at 5am to find driveway had not been plowed yet. As of 6:20am, I finished up clearing out the driveway myself as I needed to get to work. I let the coordinator know by email that no service had been provided as promised, and I have not heard back at all. I'm not happy with their website, online payment system, or customer service. Before Christmas, they sent out an email saying they are going paperless and sending out renewal requests for lawn service by email. They strongly encourage you to prepay online, and there's a discount involved for prepaying for the coming season of lawn service. So I went online, logged into my account, and clicked on prepayment. The web site then gave me only one option for a dollar amount to pay, so I went ahead and paid it by credit card. Then I realized that the dollar amount did not match the price quote by email, so I contacted LCS. I received an automated email saying that they are out of the office until January 4th. When I did receive a real reply, I was told that I had prepaid online for part of the lawn service and for one snowplow service. That's not even close to what I wanted. Then I figured I'd just ask for a full credit card refund and send a check instead since the website is not functioning correctly. To that request, I was told that they can't/won't submit a credit card refund but can send a check refund. I did receive a refund check and an apology by phone.

They provided prompt service for the quotation, discussed my needs over the phone, and always advised me when they were coming to perform the service during the summer and fall months. There were no dandelions in my yard this year! Great service at a good price. I would (and will) recommend them.

I have been using them for about 10 years now and they are great. They have wonderful package deals for seasonal lawn care at a reasonable in price. They are very receptive to any questions or concerns about products they use. I don't spend much time on my lawn and so rely on them to keep my lawn looking great.
