Contacted them in May 2012 and signed up for the 5 treatments plus fall aeration and over-seeding ($253). In the fall, they contacted me to let me know that my lawn's ph balance was bad and suggested a lime treatment. They did services 6 times in total and the lawn was weed free all year. The lawn is looking better than it had - and I am hoping that it will be much better next year with the aeration and over-seeding and lime treatment this fall. Plan to use this service again next year.

Great. They were always on time and did what they said they would do. Our lawn looks much better and they took care of the hassle of fertilizing and weed control for us, for a really reasonable price.

They have been great. I have really been pleased with them with the results and the cost. It is really very simple once you set it up. They charge about $35.00 to $50.00 per treatment. They come about every three to four months.

My husband had broken his arm and was unable to trim the bushes and trees around the house and we called LCS to have them give us an estimate. Kevin was able to come by "some time" onF Friday. He was unable to give me an exact time so I stayed home most of the morning until he arrived. The estimate process was quite quick and he provided me with the estimate on the spot. I explained quite clearly how much I wanted off each plant, and told him that I needed an excellent clean up job as well. I told him that I woulc call him the next week to let him know whether we wanted him to do the job, which we did. After two weeks, I contacted LCS' main number to find out when he was planning to come to do the week, and received a call back from him the next day. He said, weather permitting, the work would be done by the end of the week. His crew came on the Wednesday. The trimming and cleanup were appalling! It was as if the the blades they used were dull, and that they had no idea what "trim the bushes away from the house" meant. We called Kevin back and I received a call on Friday monday (September 14th) and told him what the problem was. he said that he would send someone out to look. Kevin himself came over and agreed that the work was very poor and promised to send another crew around. After several calls, we evenutally received a call from Kevin on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th informing us that the crew would be out on Friday -- the following Friday! We contacted the office again and spoke with the owner who indicated that he would send out someone as soon as possible. The indeed came and began the job but the results were merely OK and the clean up job was shoddy.

When I first called to discuss the services it was a little confusing to understand the various packages and what I was actually going to pay. I purchased the spring clean-up which included blowing out all the bushes and cleaning up the dead grass from winter. I was told they would be out to complete that prior to fertilizing our yard for the first time. Twice the guys came out to fertilize and the spring clean up had not yet occurred so I had to turn them away. Each time I would call and had to leave a message and then different people would call me back and say they were sorry and reschedule. Finally after two and half weeks they figured it out and sent the crew out to do the Spring Clean Up. They did a horrible job cleaning out the bushes so I had to have them come out again. Even after the second visit there were lots of leaves and dead twigs left behind so we ended cleaning it up on our own. Do Not purchase the spring clean up package. The fertilizing treatments have not done the job and two weeks ago I called LCS because we actually have more weeds this year than we have ever had. They came back and treated again and killed the grass in several spots. Unfortunately they even killed some of our neighbors grass. While they didn't charge us for that treatment it made us more upset because of how the yard looks now. I purchased LCS Lawn Service as a gift for my husband and it has been very disappointing. The crab apple trees still lost their leaves early but it wasn't as bad as previous years. Overall poor customer service and not good about responding to concerns in a timely manner. I would not recommend LCS to others because we have used other lawn services in years past which have been better quality and customer service.

Apparently too busy.

I hired LCS to help me repair and refurbish my lawn which has been neglected for a couple of years. When given me the estimate the

LCS did the services they promised. When they came out to do the weed spraying. ( I think it was weed spraying) The person doing the spraying did our lawn in about five minutes. I didn't look like he covered our lawn completely however, maybe it doesn't take that long to spary weed chemcials on a lawn. Phone calls were answered. When I told them I still had bare spots on my lawn they told me they would drop off a bag of grass seed which they did the next day.

Three properties…three GREAT results. I was skeptical about organic products being able to tackle major lawn recovery. NaturaLawn by far surpassed a well known non-organic company. Our experience with NaturaLawn began with a young couple buying the house across the street. They purchased the house from the bank. The lawn was terrible – lots of crabgrass and other weeds. When they hired NaturaLawn, we thought they were young and naive. Certainly an organic service would not be able to help this disaster. We had been using TruGreen for two years and our lawn had seen only minimal improvement. As much as I agree with using organic products, I did not think it could work when regular chemicals did not. Well, two years later, the new neighbors had the nicest lawn in the neighborhood. Granted, they made sure to water their lawn when the summer got hot and dry, but the bumper crop of crabgrass was gone. After 2 years of using TruGreen, we were still dealing with Creeping Charlie and an increase in dandelions. We repeatedly talked with TruGreen about the sad state of our lawn. They said we were not watering enough, mowing at the right time, etc. After seeing the results the neighbors had, we asked NaturaLawn to give it a try. In addition to NaturaLawn’s treatments, the lawn was mowed every other week, but it was provided with no other care since we were out of the country for a year. By the time we returned, we had a nice lawn. Just before leaving the country, we bought a foreclosure home. The lawn had been neglected for 3 years. While we were gone we used the organic service the next door neighbors used, LCS. When we returned the following year - No improvement. So we tried doing it ourselves using store bought Scott’s treatments (to save money) – spring, summer and fall. A year later we had minimal improvement. Finally we hired Naturalawn again. This time in addition to regular weeds, we were dealing with Quack Grass – very difficult to get rid of. It has only been 3 months, but our lawn already looks much better. The dandelions and thistle are gone along with all the other weeds that had invaded our lawn. The Quack will take longer to force out, but we no longer look like a foreclosure lawn. I wrote this lengthy review because I was a skeptic – I did not think organic lawn care could work. Well, it does. NaturaLawn has made vast improvements in 3 lawns that needed lots of help. I strongly recommend you give them a try even if you are OK with putting chemicals on your lawn. Whatever they use has worked. The young couple continues to use NaturaLawn and have a lush, weed free, barefoot, envy of the neighborhood lawn.

The yard had some issues with crabgrass and dandelions but within a few days of being treated, the yard perked up and with this springs rainfall the yard is LOOKING GREAT. I will deffinately be in a different situation next year and fully intend on having their full package.

After leaving messages with 3 other lawn services and receiving no replies, I thought everyone was full up and no one had capacity to mow my lawn. I called LCS and someone actually answered the phone! She took my information and I received an email estimate for services. I emailed back and asked how to get started. The NEXT DAY, my yard was beautifully mown and trimmed, and they cleaned up the sidewalks - I was thrilled! These guys are terrific. They moved and replaced my gutter extenders to mow under them. They leave a Site Report slip each week, stating when they were there and if there were any issues. I will be using them for all my lawn needs, and shoveling in the winter. It's well worth the price, to have the peace of mind and confidence that my yard looks great, and I don't have to juggle my schedule to fit it in each week.

They were quick to respond to my call and sent me an estimate quickly. I put in a new lawn last August and wanted their advice as to how to fertiize it and treat for future weeds. They were responsive to my needs and very customer service oriented. I am pleased with their services so far.

They are very easy to work with. They are prompt in calling and letting us know when they came. They talked to me and explained things to me. Their prices are fair. I plan to use them again this season for my lawn care.

They came in and did an estimate then came out and actually did the work. Everything ran really smooth and was reasonably priced. I will use them again in the future.

Very nice and professional workers come weekly to mow lawn and fertilize when needed. They go above and beyond by, for example, cleaning off large cement patio of acorns and leaves

I asked for a quote from their website and didn't get a response but when I called they responded immediately. We have a dog so I asked to be notified when they were coming so I could have the dog inside for the visit and they have called with plenty of notice each time always in a friendly manner. When I am here and speak with them they are very professional and also friendly and offer helpful information without asking. Their bill also always includes helpful tips for lawncare. The yard is looking better. The only thing that didn't work as well as I would have liked was the overseeding and I know I didn't water as much as I should have which is critical to new seed. I know this from past experience when I have seeded my lawn myself.

They have been punctual, easy, and have done great work. They let me know they are coming 1-2days prior, then do their own thing and leave me a note stating what was done. Very easy.

I had not used a company such as this one for several years. Thus, my lawn was filled with all kinds of weeds. The creeping charlies had pretty much taken over my back yard. When I first hired them, they said it might take all summer to get rid of the creeping charlie. However, I noticed vast improvement after the first treatment, and it was totally gone after the second treatment. This company is great. They even call me the day before to tell me when they will be coming.

Overall great service and helpful customer service staff! I seed in the spring and fall so this changes their baseline treatment plan. I notified them when they called me that I was seeding so she made a note not to apply the weed prevention which also kills off the seedlings.

They are higher priced. They just call me and say that they are going to be here sometime during the day. It doesn’t matter if I am here or not.

Our experience of LCS is typical to most of the outdoor landscaping and exterior home improvement service providers - great on first contact where you're getting their promotional shpeal, but difficult to get callbacks and continuing service after you've hired them. We've had a very difficult time growing and maintaining a nice lookng lawn in both front and back yards. The back is very shady and grassy areas are quite thin. Talking with Jack over the phone and in person at a home and garden fair gave me a sense that we might be able to get significant improvement. However, once we scheduled service times with them, their actual performance has been dissapointing. The plan was to first leave the front yard alone until Fall where we would kill off the current fescue and re-seed with Bluegrass, and they were only to focus on the back yard by overseeding, aireating and putting down starter fertilizer. But, the first treatment we got a call on was for normal fertilizing all grassy areas. I had to call and cancel reminding them they were only to focus on the back. It took several weeks in order for someone to come out to start that process partly because winter had not really left us and it was too cold to expect new seed to start germinating. After we got the first treatment we had that torrential downpour of rain for several days and I suspected that all the new seed seemed to wash away into the surrounding mulch areas. I called and asked if it could be checked on - if there was any sign of seed that was left and started germiniating but never got a call back nor a report on status. Whe I finally got hold of someone, was told to wait until after Memorial day, check to see if any evidence of new seed germinating. Finidng none, I called back and they said someone would come back to overseed again. Well no one showed up after about 3 weeks and I finally decided I needed to do that myself. We did get another service of fertilizing, but nothing in the form of comment or assessment how the ares that received the overseeding were progressing or still problematic I suspect that the serson assigned to do the treatments is not the same each time and has little, if any, foreknowledge of our situation for the ability to compare. So the rest of the story continues to have this theme.

They are cheap and they do a good job. They come out once a week or when it needs it. I can call them and tell them that the lawn does not need to be cut and they don’t come out. I spend $47.50, but my lawn is pretty small. I have no dislikes because they have been doing everything good.

They do a good job and they do it very quickly. They are good about moving things out of the way if we have left them out instead of mowing around them.

I came to know about LCS Lawn Service through Angie’s list. They do our yearly lawn care and fertilizing them and I had them treat a tree as well. I have had several dealings with them lately. They are really good. I had a tree that had a fungus. The person who came out had what he needed right then to take care of it. He did the job at the same time. He never had to go back and come again. He really knew what he was talking about. He was really helpful. They have been responsive. Their price is good. I have been happy with them. I would use their service in the future too.

I called and got an estimate for lawn care service. I wanted fertilizer and weed control applications as well as an aeration. I got a call back with a complete price for everything. It was very fair. I setup service. After the first application many weeds were noticeably gone. Price: A. Quality: A. Next, I made a phone call and left a message about weed service. I waited about a week and called back. After I didn't hear anything I called their general line rather than the direct person I had been dealing with and left a message with a receptionist who said she'd get it to another person. When I didn't hear back that time, I left a negative review here on Angie's List for Responsiveness and Professionalism. Flash forward one day and LCS called me back. They gave me a price for lawn/weed whipping service (again a fair price). They apologized for not getting back to me before. The response and apology prompted me to upgrade the overall experience as well as these two categories. If any of my neighbors ask, I would recommend LCS to them.
