I have used SLC for several years. At first the quality was very good. Weeds were eliminated and grass looking good. However, their quality has gone down over the last few years. I started to have large dead spots in the yard. Asked them to come out and look at. This happened over the last several years. At first they responded and repaired. Than they basically did not want to deal with any more. They said my yard was to difficult for what they do and cancelled their services. I'm not even sure Scott runs the company anymore as never dealt with him personally. They never implied that they work with University of MN in trying to find out what was causing problem like they say in their advertising.

Can't provide a good or bad review of this company. I was reaching out to them for a lawn fertilization program and was told they are not accepting any more customers for 2018. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and professional and told me that we may be able to get on the list in 2019. I explained to her that we need a service yet this year and will most likely stay with who we find. Will maybe check back in a few years if we are not happy with who we plan to work with.

They are doing an excellent job on the creepy Charlie when pointed out .

Great for the first application. Prompt in estimate, discussed savings by pre-payment with prices listed beside each program on the proposal - contract. Service for Spring application was done with breakdown of what was done, time applied, temperature, wind and wind direction along with person who performed the work and receipt of work was left inside my front door. Application warning sign was posted on lawn. My lawn looks green and lush.

I have had SLC out twice to take care of some creeping charlie and fertilize in preparation for fall. I will also have them aerate the lawn and overseed. So far the service has been great, reasonably priced and best of all the lawn already looks much better.

I signed up for 4 services and I find that I had to call them to come back , and they told me they would be back in october , and to me they should have came back when I called them so I will not be using them again in the future.

They have been fertilizing our front yard for many years and we couldn't be happier. We might just have the best lawn on the block. They were not doing our backyard and the grass was beginning to look unhealthy; we had lots of bare spots and weeds. This year they started doing the backyard also and what a different it has made. We no longer have bare spots, weed and our grass is so full and now looks just like the front yard. Fantastic!

We have really noticed a drop in the amount of insects and cobwebs since starting the pest control. They also spray for mosquitoes on our property. We are now able to enjoy the outdoors even more.

Scott's has been caring for our lakefront property for over 8 years now and it's so great to have a lawn care provider that you never have to worry about. His crew is prompt, professional and always willing to go the extra mile. Any time we have a 'special project', Scott is always willing to take it on and he always completes it in record time. Our lawn and lakefront always look beautiful. I recommend Scott's Lawn Care without reservation!

The men do a very good job at moving and cleanup.

We have been employing Scott for over 10years and would never consider another company. He is conscientious, prompt & professional.

The work is good. The workers are good. They are very prompt. I would tell a friend that they are a great provider. And in the summer they mow my 5 acre lawn as well.

I called for an estimate and they responded and came within 3 days. I was home and so I was able to point out the specific trouble areas and he was able to identify the weed. I hired them for the fall work and also decided to hire them for the 2015 season. I love the fact that it is a family owned business started by Scott was in HS. That shows me drive,determination and commitment starting at a young age.

It goes excellent. They called right back after I called and left a message. They have been easy to deal with. Very pleased so far.

They only been here once but that was with rain to spring everything has been pushed back a little bit. They’re good as anybody else. I had them last year and it was my first time to use their service. They’re a little bit cheaper on what I have.

Did not hire them. They also put us on their mailing list without approval.

They are great. They send text messages when they're going to come and ask if they've been here. They respond to emails and they offer discounts as well.

Everything went fine. They show up every week and do a good and efficient job.

I was relatively satisfied with their services, but I would like for them to notify in advance of their arrival. This isn't a major concern, but it would still be nice if they enforced this policy.
