They are very busy and said they would come out by the end of June.

They were very prompt, courteous and neat. No branches or debris was left behind.

The experience was great. I was not there while the service was performed but they shaped the tree lovely. It looks pretty.

They did a good job. We were pleased with the results of the work. There was a certain piece I requested to be cut a certain way. However, they did not honor my request.

I had called for an estimate from another company on Angies List but they couldn't remove it for a week or more. Meanwhile, Urban Tree was in the neighborhood, knocked on my door, gave me an estimate that was about $80 lower than the other and said they could remove it that day. Matt was very professional and helpful. They did a great job!! I will definitely use them again.

It went well overall. They did what they said they would do. They were pretty good about timing. They did not give me a specific day but kept me informed about when they would come out to do the work.

Matt and the Urban Tree & Landscape crew did a great job, from start to finish. Matt provided a competitive bid on the spot, and they commenced work within a couple days. I was especially impressed with how well the crew cleaned-up after cutting the trees down...hardly a twig to be seen! Also, I honestly don't recall asking them to stain the small section of fence they replaced, yet they took the initiative to stain color-matched to the rest of the fence (leaving the remainder of can of stain for us)! Matt was diligent with his follow-through; he personally inspected all work to ensure high standards and client satisfaction. Based on my positive experience with Urban Tree & Landscape, I highly recommend them.

The roof was adequately cleaned of ice, they did a bit more than I had expected them to, but that was okay. They cleared away all the snow and ice which fell from the roof, although the sidewalk close to the house was quite icey afterwards. There were two men on the roof all day, leaving as it got dark. The next day we realized that two window panes had been broken by the steamer. Unfortunately these were in a leaded glass window and required a specialist to repair them. They quickly agreed to reimburse me, however after I mailed the invoice, they did not send a check until I followed up with a call, and I had the sense that no one would have responded with a check had I not called. I paid at the time of service with a check; after this I received at least two bills for the same service. While the work done was fine, the business office needs some attention. I hope I never need this kind of work done again, but if I do, I would think twice about this company for this reason

I had a really good experience with them. The estimate was quick and efficient. They did a nice job on the work, and they did a follow up visit. I'd meant to ask them dispose of some other branches I'd trimmed myself, but I missed them when they did the actual work. At the follow up visit, he took the branches just as a courtesy, which was really nice.

They were very pleasant but they did leave a lot of debris in the yard that we had to clean up ourselves. They did say they would leave some behind since they gave us such a great price.

This company has been the most unprofessional we have ever encountered. They made promises they did not keep and offered excuses and blame rather than a way to fix the situation. We have had several bids with other companies to prune or trim some of our trees and used one of these other companies to perform a smaller job. This other local company was very expensive but they were professional and got the job done. We will be calling them to complete this job. I do not recommend using Urban Tree & Landscape, it was a huge disappointment.

I had a terrific experience with them. Ethan gave me an estimate last fall and stayed with that $$ amount when everything was done this May. My townhouse association is thinking about having 1 tree removed, pruning a number of trees and bushes, plus deep root feeding. I will be giving the Board the estimate, and I hope we use him for all of that work. When Ethan and I walked around the grounds he pointed out a tree we need to have removed because with a strong wind, it could fall on one the unit. He also advised having some evergreens have the canopies trimmed up to at least 2 ft. This was because someone could be hanging out on the ground under the tree, and no one would know. I recommend using Urban Tree and Landscaping.

I made an appointment by phone with Ethan for an estimate and consultation on some overgrown landscaping. I needed to know if they could trim two trees that were taking over our small yard or if I had to have them removed, and I wanted to have a half-dozen shrubs pulled out. I had contacted another neighborhood tree service for the same thing and never talked to a human. I filed an email request and got a bid through the mail slot for removal only. Ethan came right on time and spent an hour or so with us, walking around the yard and studying the trees, an amur maple that turned out not to be a dwarf and a spruce that the previous owner had trimmed in an umbrella shape but we had let go. He assured us that the trees could be trimmed aesthetically to fit the space and described how they would do that. He walked through the logistics of everything, including pulling out three large lilacs, which required removing the chain-link fence temporarily. He told us the crew could be there within several days, which was a good enough window for us. On Saturday morning, a big truck pulled up and about 4 guys got out and went to work. The crew chief asked us to explain what exactly we wanted to make sure they got it right. They had the right equipment and knew what they were doing. In a couple hours, the work was done, including the hoisting of 300-pound lilacs. They reattached the chain-link fence in back so it was better than before. Ethan showed up as they were finishing and had them make a few minor aesthetic adjustments. Our neighbors across the alley were so impressed that they hired the crew on the spot to remove a huge dead maple from their yard while they were there. We were very satisfied. We now admire our trees rather than wincing at the sight of them. When they need trimming again, I will definitely use Urban Tree folks.

He is a polite young man, is amiable and accommodating, and is here when he says he is going to be here. He has some degrees in landscaping, marketing and sales management. He does a very good job of what we ask him to do.

ONCE THEY ARRIVED, THEY DID A FINE JOB. TOUGH TIME GETTING A FIRM COMMITMENT AS TO WHEN WORK WOULD BE DONE.

We saw Ethan preparing an estimate for our neighbor, and asked him to take a look at a dead tree we were concerned about. Due to the proximity of utility lines, Ethan suggested we contact the electric company to see if they would do the work, but it turned out the power lines were not involved (just phone and cable). He put together an estimate, and discussed with us some other work we may have done and helped us set priorities and plan for our future needs. He came out to do the work when he said he would, and did a fantastic job. In addition to removing the tree, he did substantial trimming of the tree next to it and cleared a lot of branches from the property (not all of which were from the tree removal), leaving the property in better condition than when they arrived. The result was better than we expected, and we would not hesitate to use Urban Tree Service for our future needs.
