Midwest Tree Experts came to our area after a series storms and a tornado. We had a larger branch from our tree fall on our house and needed to have it removed. The branch was about 8 inches in diameter and Midwest Tree Experts removed it in about 20 minutes. The trim is okay, looked really sloppy but the tree should survive. My biggest complaint is the billing behavior, they charged me $7500 for 20 minutes of work and a relatively small branch. The behavior is price gouging and should be illegal. They came in a charged me full 3 people (8 hours), a bucket truck, and picker, a trailer, and a ditch witch. It is a shame that they are preying on people that experience natural disasters.

I hired midwest tree experts. They were prompt, clean, and got the job done right without any problems. The giant dead Oak tree they took down in my backyard, leaning over my house.was scary but Mike and his crew made my yard safe again . Thanks Mike your a very well informed arborist â ¦. And you really know your stuff when treating my Dutch elms. They were almost dead . You canâ t tell they were even sick . Donâ t hesitate folks this guy is the real deal . Don contacted me immediately regarding storm damage cleanup and submitted a very reasonable bid. They came the next day and the crew was efficient, courteous and hardworking. Would use them again without hesitation!

Very excellent professional crew did all work that was asked, timeframe from estimate to getting tree work completed was within a few days. Crew did excellent work cleaning all small branches from the trimming. Would very highly recommend this company.

I hired Midwest tree experts to take down a tree that fell on my house during hurricane Ida. There were trees down everywhere and hard to find a company from my area that could come out soon. There were at least a 3 week wait time.I found this company on Angi and decided to trust the recommendations from the site. I was pleased with the service they provided. The men were on time, completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up at the end. I would definitely recommend the company.

This is the first time I've had trees taken down but am happy with the result. I got a quote for 2 trees to be removed. There was a few week delay before my house came up on the schedule. They arrived and removed two trees and scheduled to return a week later to remove a third tree they deemed to be unsafe. All in all they removed 3 trees, ground 3 stumps, and only charged me for removal of 2 trees. Very happy with the service and Donny was a really friendly guy.

It was nice to witness a crew work so well together. Everyone knew what had to be done and they did it without being told to.

I hired MidWest Tree Experts to cut down several large trees in our yard. They were punctual, completed the work in a timely manner, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them.

We had a wind storm and a tree fell on the roof of our boathouse. I called Midwest around 10 p.m. on a Friday night and talked directly to owner. He had an estimator at out house by 6 am the next morning, a crew by 10 am and completed the job before noon. The area was totally cleaned up. Amazing service.

I needed someone fast due to a split tree after a tornado and they got the job done quickly and professionally. This is the first time I have ever hired a tree service so I do not have anything to compare them to for price or performance, however I would recommend this company for your tree service needs.

They were really good. We got him 3 more customers in the same neighborhood. it was the biggest tree they had done, but they did it smoothly, everyone had their own task. They had an audience, our neighbors even came to watch.

We had a tricky tree to remove - next to a garage, on a hill, near the property line, with high power electric overhead. Price of taking down the tree reflected this. Still, they were in and out very quickly (which speaks to their skill.) Most expensive hour of work I've ever paid!

Good guys tackled a fairly large shrub and tree removal job and finished quickly. The finish left a little to be desired but that being said I would hire them again.

They called right away and promised an estimate, then Mike actually showed up. My husband talked with Mike and determined he knew what he was doing and felt very comfortable moving forward. Mike gave us an estimate on the spot to take down a tree in our yard and haul away a brush pile. It was reasonable so we asked him to estimate taking two very tall pines and grinding out stumps in our sons yard. Reasonable and timely estimate there too. Great work, cleaned up after the project. They got in, did the work and got out just as expected. The only blip in the process was they got our e-mail address wrong so weren't clear on what their timing was going to be. Very minor in the grand scheme of things. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

They were very efficient and cleaned up the yard and lake very well after the trees were removed. This was done in early March so they tried to protect the grass as much as possible and they would use snow from other areas of the lawn and make paths of snow that they would try and keep the equipment on when they were transporting the tree limbs, trunks and debris.

Mike was in regular contact throughout the entire process. He and his crew showed up on time and they had the tree down in 1.5 hours and all the debris removed in a couple of hours, total time 4 hours. No sitting in the street running a chipper, just a well run and efficient crew working safely together. We could not be any more pleased.

The owner is a certified arborist and did the estimate. He explained fully what needed to be done, and the crew lived up to the job. I will use them again.
