+ -1 moreI found them on Angie's List. The experience was excellent and they were very good. The people seemed to be very knowledgeable. They first evaluated our underground sprinkler system. We knew a couple of things that needed to be fixed but they also advised us that there were other parts that were blocked by underground vegetation. They recommended moving it to get a different sprinkler pattern. When they came out they did not just look at what we wanted them to look at; they looked at the entire system and what it needed. We priced a couple of other people and this price was competitive. We used them because they seemed to know more about what they were talking about.

Description of Work: We bought a new home and couldn't figure out how to operate the system. We called Midwest Lawn from the sticker that was on the system box in the garage. They were so responsive and were able to walk us thru everything via phone on the first call. They then volunteered a complimentary visit at our convenience to walk thruGreat everything ijn person. Then in the fall they contacted us to remind us to shut the system down. The were so flexible in their scheduling to work around our needs / timing. We look forward to continuing a long relationship with Midwest Lawn Sprinklers.

+ -1 moreThere are a few things I really like about this company. They contact me each Spring and Fall to set up the appointments, based on when they are going to be in the neighborhood. I love that, I don't have to remember to call them myself. I also like the fact that in the Spring, they offer a 5% discount if you pre-pay for your services for the year. They also have a program where they will deliver the right type of fertilizer throughout the Summer, but we've never done that so I can't comment on it.
Description of Work: They blew out our lawn sprinkler system for the year. They also get it started each Spring. Turn it on, make sure it's working and replace sprinkler heads as needed.

Description of Work: HE DIAGNOSED WHY SOME SPRINKLERS WOULD NOT TURN OFF AND WHY OTHERS WOULD NOT TURN ON. HE WOULD GET SOME SPRINKLERS WORKING, BUT THEN OTHERS WOULD NO LONGER WORK AFTER HE LEFT. TODD WOULD NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS TO HAVE HIM COME BACK AND FIX THINGS. HE WAS NEVER ABLE TO SCHEDULE ANYTHING WITH ME MORE THAN A DAY OR SO IN ADVANCE.
