The Lynde contact, Joe, came to the house and met with us to go over details of the project. He was very helpful, friendly and had good suggestions. We revised the project over the weeks and Joe was always happy to modify the quote and project scope accordingly. The crew on site during tear out and install were very friendly and were hard workers, including Joe. The job was done excellently in the proper time frame as well as we found the crew to go above and beyond to make the project look its very best. There was tearout needed of old shrubs. One side of the house needed extra work and engineering to create proper water flow and drainage with sloping of the dirt, plastic covering and then River Rock. Care was taken to put River Rock for drainage in the window wells. Even the neighbor hired Lynde to tie in a portion of his lot so the project had continuity between the houses. Alot of mulch was layed around the house and the Chilton stepping stones on two sides of the house look and function terrific! The new shrubs and grasses really look nice and the whole project completely freshened up the exterior of the house. Lynde Greenhouse and Nursery did an excellent job and we would definitely hire them again and recommend them. We had received a recommendation about Lynde from our son and his wife who used them for the landscaping of their new home and were very pleased.

Always get our hanging flowers from Lyndes every spring. They have a great selection and have good sales. They also offer a guarantee.

Why would I pay $100 for a bid I might not even use? Many others came out to bid at the site for free. Did not use.

It was actually a pretty good experience. They had over-billed me and then I made changes. I called them and they adjusted my billing appropriately. It was on the labor charge and had we not had someone home to notice that, we would have ended up paying the full amount. I think that it was kind of interesting because they were there for half the time that they said they would be. But the job that they did at the end was very nice. I had some plants that died and they were not replaceable after years because most nurseries do not warranty perennials. And so therefore, they were not replaceable and I had to go do it myself. The original price that they charged us was $8,000 and with the change in the labor, it was down to $6,500. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

The project went off as planned and stayed on plan for the entire project. The crew doing the work were experienced and worked well together. They kept me informed daily on their progress and the coming days work.

The people at Lynde's are GREAT! They are more than willing to give tips, provide suggestions, et. I've not used them for full landscape services, but would not hesitate if I needed that service to use Lynde! Great family business!!

Wife and I purchased tree at nursery. Company made arrangements to have yard marked for underground obstacles and on agreed date, they had 2 men dig hole, plant tree and give me any details I would need to take care of it. If finances allow, we will purchase another tree in 2013 from same company. I would also recommend this company to any friends

Our overall experience was very good. They came and delivered it when they said they were going to. They planted it in the front yard. We didn't have any problem. The only problem we had with them was they were supposed to call before they came, and they didn't. They had to wait for the tree to come at their place and call us. We checked back the day after they were supposed to be there, and that is when we found out that man has delivered it there. We will deal with them again.

They did an excellent job. They originally indicated it would take one day, but we thought it might easily take more. They only ran 1/2 a crew due to recent weather delaying jobs and the need to be on more than one job site. As a result it took several days, but we didn't mind and they did not increase the quote due to the additional time or any of the difficulties they encountered along the way. Our landscape adviser prepared a plan. In this case, the plan was hand drawn and relatively simple. However, he set our expectation up front. If you want a more elaborate plan, they have options for producing those plans. He had excellent ideas and matched our needs and vision with appropriate replacement bushes. The foreman was always more than willing to answer questions and listen to our expectations. There were a number of minor issues along the way, but everything was handled professionally. They had to work around both the electrical line and the gas line when tearing out some very large, overgrown bushes. They were very careful did a significant amount of the work by hand (without the use of machinery). The site was always kept neat at the end of each day and there was minimal disruption to the areas of the lawn that were not affected by the landscaping. Our neighbors continue to stop by while on walks and tell us how great the yard looks. Overall - we had an excellent experience.

It took about three weeks to get a quote/plan that was acceptable to us. Once we settled on the plan the job went without any surprises. The installers were great - they were creative and professional. We love the final design!

Always very knowledgeable and helpful. I especially like their compost and its price.
