As it pertains to professionalism, punctuality, quality, communication, and value John & Jerry Co was by far one of the best contractors that I’ve worked with. The asphalt driveway was replaced and it looks great. From scheduling and providing the free estimate, laying the base, to smoothing out the new asphalt, which was followed-up with meticulous clean up – all employees that I came in contact with were extremely professional and friendly. The crew was also very courteous to my neighbors and their properties. The project was top notch and turned out just as I had hoped. Need to also mention the job was completed ahead of scheduled. I highly recommend John & Jerry Co. as a contractor who can be counted on to do a great job.

Badly, coating flaked off would not come out to discuss the issue

Had a great experience with John and Yuri. They came out and gave me an estimate I couldn't refuse. A week or two later, I had my ugly cracked and sunken front door landing fixed. They even patched up a bit of damage that the old concrete had caused to my masonry. Super nice guys to talk to as well. Highly recommended.

Great. Both John and Jerry (separately) came to our home to look over our driveway and provide options on what we could do to repair the surface. They recomended and priced three options which included making spot repairs, spot repairs and overlay of the whole driveway and lastly a complete replacement. We chose the combination of repair and overlay of the total surface. They targeted a date to do the work and kept in touch with us to schedule a final date. Their crew of workmen and equipment arrived as promised and the work was done in one afternoon. I am really pleased with the price and quality of the work . It exceeded my expectations.

I found John & Jerry on Angies List and found them easy to talk with about my project. The project was to remove about half of an over large driveway of asphalt, and to cut a trench for a drain line away from a problem area next to my house. John came out in a couple days and assessed the situation, gave me a quote on several options. I chose the least expensive option planning to do the detail work myself. Once I made the decision to hire them, they scheduled me in a few days, early in the season. They did the work in an afternoon and left things as I asked so I could finish the drain and backfill, level the site with topsoil and lay sod. I found that the price seemed a little high, until I saw other quotes. I would recommend them to anyone for this kind of work. They are flexible and helpful and pleasant guys.

I received a bid from John on 11 April 2018 for asphalt work. I accepted the bid and verbally agreed to the job with John on 17 April 2018. On 19 April 2018 I received a call from Jerry saying that the bid was too low and they would have to raise the price. It didn't seem to matter that there was a verbal contract after I accepted the bid on 17 April 2018. I would not want to do business with a company that yanks a customer around like this. Would they then come out to do the job and find something else that they would want more money for? Having been in business myself, I've had a few accepted bids that resulted in my losing money, but I ALWAYS honored them and learned from my bidding mistakes. I never asked the customer for more money after a bid had been made and accepted. In my opinion, it is a very poor business practice to provide a bid, have the bid accepted, then not honor the bid!
