We have had very good service from them in quality and them showing up on time. Their price is very reasonable. We have had very good experiences with them over the years.

I was very pleased with them. They came when they said. They were able to hook everything up with ease. They performed the work perfectly. The technicians are very professional and made the experiences very smooth. All aspects of their service were great to work with.

I had no problems with the service. Nothing bad has happened with the unit since.

We have had no problems at all. One piece of the system was not working well, and one of the techs bosses fought hard with manufacturer to fix the issue.

Everything went fine with their work. I had no problems at all. They made recommendations on future work.

The service call went well. He came out and fixed a broken part which he had on the truck. They were on time and very professional and courteous. I will call them again when I need routine maintenance for my furnace or have any other problems.

H&CT was professional, courteous, and quickly resolved our problem. Communication on the scheduled call was excellent. We've used them several times and highly recommend them.

Update, 9/8/10: Mr. Hausmann claims to have attempted to contact us to work a compromise: neither my wife nor I have been contacted (no calls on our work, home or cell phones and no email). I'd also add that we were charged $99 to have our A/C system "tuned". I don't see how that is possible; it is broken. Original report: I had them come to check our furnace and and determine a fault in our air conditioning system. The bill was $360, and all I got was a furnace cleaning and the A/C system re-charged with a dye marker. The technician claimed there was nothing else he could do; he would need the coolant to leak-out so that he could find it later with a UV light. He was not friendly to my wife. He could not explain to me the cost of the work. He did not offer a time when he would return to find the actual leak; only that it might be this fall, next year, two years from now, who knows. I called their office. "Dawn" was also short with me, cutting me off from time-to-time. She explained that at $120/hr, this is the cheapest way to find a A/C leak: they re-charge the system, then wait for the coolant to leak out and find it later. I am not happy paying a $360 bill for a visit that lasts one hour if the labor rate is $120/hr, only to learn that it is necessary for the technician to return again later to actually fix the leak. This process seems ridiculous. The same company installed the system in November 2005 (for a cost of $5000), which means the A/C system had failed in less than 5 years. The warranty for the indoor coil is 5 years; therefore, by the time they actually fix the leak (next summer ?) if the coil is bad, then I will not be able to have it repaired under warranty. The air-conditioning did not work when first installed; they had to come back in the spring of 2006 to fix something they had forgotten to do in the fall. The technician in the fall of 2005, I believe, was quite zealous in condemning my system's (10 year old) heat exchanger for an extremely small line he claimed was a crack. It was never proven that the mark was a "crack," only that he would need to "red-tag" the furnace and that the exchanger should be replaced immediately. The outlet attachment to the furnace leaks like a sieve; they never did a good job joining the sheet metal duct seems together. I should have asked them to correct that in 2005, but didn't. My fault, but I am done over-looking shoddy work by this outfit In summary: rude, expensive, and shoddy work.

I received a bill for $156.00 for a service call. I called heating & cooling 2 to express that I did not agree with the bill because they were to busy and wouldn't fix my furnace as agreed and I had to hire someone who could do the fix and not make me wait another day. After explaining what happen I was told my version was untrue because they never committed to coming back the next day. And accused me of doing the job my self, which is untrue. I hired another company who had my furnace running that afternoon and was cheaper than heating & cooling 2 originally quoted. I have paid the bill but I will NEVER consider heating & cooling 2 for anything ever again!!!!!!!

They have been wonderful. They seem to know what they are doing. Any question I've had, they have answered it right away. I had a flashing warning light go off at one in the morning, and I called and they told me exactly what to do and how to fix it. The price seems reasonable and they seem to have quality products.

The overall experience was excellent. We were able to negotiate prices and they gave 10 year warranty. They provided prompt service. They usually get somebody on the way right away when I had called a couple of times. I would use them again.

The furnace works, so it had to be good. We have used them before.

THE PRODUCT WAS GOOD AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR, BUT THIS COMPANY HAS A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. CHANGED BID AFTER ACCEPTANCE TO ADD THERMOSTAT, 4 TIMES THEY SET UP APPOINTMENTS TO WORK IN THE HOUSE - 4 TIMES LATE. FOUND OLD THERMOSTAT ON A SHELF IN A BEDROOM. INSTALL TOOK A DAY LONGER THAN ESTIMATE AND INSTALLERS WERE ALREADY SCHEDULED ON ANOTHER JOB FOR NEXT DAY, ETC,ETC... NO MAJOR PROBLEMS, BUT LOTS AND LOTS OF PETTY ANNOYANCES THAT A GOOD COMPANY WOULD KNOW HOW TO AVOID.
